Jace Klusser is a tea connoisseur who started making tea in middle school. He prefers tea over coffee because it doesn't stain teeth or give coffee breath. His favorite tea is Peach Oolong from Steep Me a Cup of Tea in Bismarck, North Dakota. Jace believes that drinking tea makes him feel sophisticated and soothes his voice. He enjoys making tea and considers it a hobby, passion, and obsession. He also mentions the health benefits of tea and recommends investing in good quality tea. My name is Jace Klusser. I'm a sacred music and vocal performance major, minor in business as well, and I would identify as a tea connoisseur. I started making tea when I was in middle school. I had a hydro flask and I'd bring hot tea to school every day. When I'm drinking tea, I like to read books or listen to music mostly. Sometimes I do homework while I drink my tea as well. Better than coffee because, well, it doesn't stain your teeth, you don't get coffee breath, it's more pleasing to the mouth once you get used to it not being sugared up, because real coffee is not the same as Starbucks or Caribou coffee, but real tea is just astronomically better. My favorite kind of tea is a really expensive one from Steep Me a Cup of Tea on 3rd Street in Bismarck, North Dakota, and it's called Peach Oolong. I think my friends really enjoy my tea collection. It's fun, it has lots of flavors, I don't know, it's kind of spunky, it's weird, and I think they like it. I decided to bring my tea supplies to campus because it felt like home. My favorite part about making tea is using the tea kettle. It's so fun just to watch it bubble. I don't know, that's the obsession part I think, yes, that would be it right there, yeah. I have a suit on. Well, I had to wear a suit today, but that's besides the point. I don't know, I just feel like when I drink tea I'm sophisticated. Slightly British maybe, you know, like I own a fancy car, and yeah, I'm a better person when I drink tea. My voice is very soothed by tea actually, and if you add a little lemon and you add a little honey to it, even better. The lemon kind of cuts through the crap in your throat and then the honey just coats it and it's like a brand new fresh paint I guess you could say. Well, the process itself is almost like cooking and some people enjoy cooking. Well, I just decided that I like to make my tea. And the other thing with it is there's actually a lot of health benefits that people don't know about. There's something called L-theanine in tea that's really, it's kind of like a relaxant I guess you could say. Is it an obsession, hobby, or passion? Of those three, I think it's probably more of a hobby and a passion. Well, no, it's probably all three now that you say that. Yeah, I'd say all three. Get nice things. Don't cheap out on tea. Tea is an art, you know. You don't want to buy a crappy, well it could be a sport too if you want it to be, but I'll stick with the art. You don't want to buy a crappy instrument and you don't want to buy crappy tea. So start expensive because sometimes you can have nice things, but in this case you sure can.
