There's about 25 people in the world then 1776, come on Anyway, so we're going to talk a little bit about the president And the independence of the day So by an extraordinary coincidence Thomas Jefferson and John Adams They were the only two signatories of the Declaration of Independence Related to serve as President of the United States And guess what, Max? Both of them died on the same day July 4th, 1826 Which was the 50th anniversary of the Declaration My life Yes, I know, right And although not a signatory of the Declaration of Independence James Moore is another founding father who was elected as President Also died on July 4th But this was in 1831 Making him the third president who died on the anniversary of Independence That's amazing That is amazing But check this out The only U.S. president to have been born on Independence Day I will tell you when we get back Oh, that's a teaser Alright, my friends, you heard it When we get back We will let us know The only U.S. president that was actually born on July 4th Well, my friends, what are you doing today? dog and the bean oh yeah and the chicken what about savoring the chicken louisiana's uh gumbo oh my goodness louisiana's gumbo and mean um lobster lobster boils they have is this a part of tradition you're sharing now yeah i'm sharing some of the tradition yeah that's already not true yeah the gumbo from louisiana and um the lobster boil for main oh my goodness and they are zesty potato salad delicious sweet corn roasted on the cup listen now we know about that we love the corn on the cup there is equality there is equality in it folks have no problem with the food no no no no no no no no because it's glasses up the sky it goes like boom but i understand i understand that um like california right now which which i thought was really really smart i was listening to the radio coming home last night and they said that they're not going to actually do that traditional fire oh they're going to be using drones and it's going to be uh it's going to use they're going to use a lot more in light yes that should be amazing yeah indeed but yeah yeah yeah but don't forget now they're trying to prevent anything um smoke more smoke because of the fire in canada they're still inhaling a lot of that smoke so they figured with the less uh spark that's going up because you know to preventing of uh fire any fire so it's great you know and and um people are going to be gazing up at those fireworks on the fort which is today uh this evening and it is a tradition and it goes way back centuries and centuries so everyone let's ask you what are your traditions yeah before you go those who live in the neighborhood area if you don't get the fireworks before eight o'clock i'm sure it's going to be done it is at 8 p.m i can remember our first time coming here and we were we went to go look for the fireworks and they it was our thing they said finish i'm trying to figure why everybody's walking in the opposite direction at eight o'clock and we're heading to the park yes where you're
