Max Beerbohm

Sir Henry Maximilian Beerbohm, also known as Max Beerbohm, was an accomplished English writer and artist. He was known for his essays, parodies, and caricatures. However, he is most recognized for his novel Zuleika Dobson, which was published in 1911 and remains popular today. Beerbohm lived from August 24, 1872 to May 20, 1956.
