Hello? Hey, can you hear me? You can hear me pretty good? Uh, kind of, um... A little distorted. How about now? Sounds about the same. Sounds about the same? Yeah. Okay, well, I'm talking to you through a Bluetooth adapter, so... I'm trying to see if I can get something to work, so... Well, as long as it's... If it sounds good to you, and you can hear me clearly, then we can go with that, because this is what I'm going to try and do instead of spending $700 on another soundboard. Right. Are you recording right now? Yeah, that way I can play it back and see how it sounds. Okay. Did Winner ever send you an intro? No, I don't know if she's got enough work yet. Ah. She said she was wanting to know what the category was. I said, one hit wonders, but you can pick whatever you want. It's your choice. And she goes, well, that helps narrow it down, and that makes it easier for me, because then I can pick a one hit wonder, and it eliminates ones that I... It makes it easier for her to pick one. Yeah. I totally forgot that it was going to be, you know, the fan's choice. And then when you texted me yesterday, I was like, oh, shit, that's right. So I... Well, when I was texting you, I was texting Molly. Right. Well, I don't know. She was like, yeah, do you have one? She was like, oh, yes and no. I want to... I kind of want to go with Mike's idea, but then I really don't have any of my own. I'm like, oh... We could have always went with Corinna's idea. We're both talking about it, and I'm like, yeah, we'll kind of book, because that's what... I think that's what I texted you the other day, too. And I think that was going to be... Maybe it was something else. I know that we had talked about maybe using that as an outro. Yeah, but I wanted it to be the listener's choice, and if we didn't go with Molly's idea, then we could have went with, you know, Corinna's idea, but I don't know if Corinna's feeling up for it or not. Yeah, and I hadn't seen Corinna in... Well, fuck, I barely seen her today. I had got off work, and I saw this car was, like, in front of me, and they put their arm out the window and a leg, and I'm like, oh, okay, that's probably not me, and I'm, like, thinking the whole time, fuck, I know this car. Well, I know she put up stuff on Easter. Was it her Mitsubishi, or was she in the Dodge? Oh, no, um... I was in a... When did I see her? Well, you said today. It was St. Patrick's Day the last time I saw her. Well, because I know she put up stuff for Easter, but she was at the house, and, you know, just filming the kids doing a sack race and stuff. Right. Yeah, so I hadn't seen her and hardly talked to her, and... Well, I was trying not to bug her because I wanted her to feel better and not, you know, when you don't feel good, you don't want to talk to nobody. Yeah, and it was funny because this car was, like, in front of me, and they start turning down, you know, half a mile off onto 17th, and they pull up in front of the house, and I'm like, what the fuck was that? And I needed to go to the store, you know, grab some cigarettes and shit. Yeah. And then I'm like, okay, and then I see him, like, kind of, like, pulling into the street, following, and I'm like, what the fuck is this? And he's looking at Corinna and her mom. They just got back from, uh, Corinna's mom's doctor's appointment and shit from physical therapy. Oh, shit. So I was like, we're going to have to worry. I was like, man, you're not supposed to go to work. And she's like, yeah. She had to go in, like, at 4.30. Damn. And she's like, oh, but I'll be there Friday. I'm like, yeah, you better be there for my baby. Yeah. And she's doing, uh, she's doing a lot better. So, does it sound decent right now? The phone call? Like, my voice? Oh, yeah, cause you're on speaker, though, too, so. No, I'm not on speaker. I'm on Bluetooth. No, I'm on my, on my phone. Oh, well, take it off speaker and see how it sounds. Cause that's, Sean's probably going to be on his headset. Yeah, I guess so. Okay. Is it that hard to switch over, or what? Oh, gosh. Yeah. Uh, actually, no, it doesn't sound too bad. Not bad at all? Yeah, oh, I mean, it's... Your voice is a little bit clearer when you're on the hat, when you're talking straight through the phone, not on speakerphone. So, I imagine that's going to be how it, like, I could still hear you just fine on the other side when you were doing speakerphone if you weren't too far away. But, the fact that this is recording and we're having a whole, you know, what is this, like, five minute conversation, you know. Yeah. It shows that this is working good, cause it was either this or, uh, fuck it, let's get the $700 soundboard, let's get two more boom mics, uh, or boom arms, let's get two more microphones, and then we take the recording to Out of the Rings house, and it does Bluetooth functioning, or, you know, and I priced it out the dust cover, cause this is like a $700 board, so you're going to want to put a dust cover on there. The two arms, the two cables, you know, the new XLR cables, uh, without headphones, cause me and you are the only ones who really need to monitor it, they can be free and comfortable, and then that new soundboard would also take in a USB adapter like we did with the clip-on mics, and we could give each person a clip-on mic and they would speak through that USB adapter, so technically we would have six microphones with two headsets, and, um, we would have to test it out with all four microphones, with all six microphones, but with this phone call capability, we can actually do the out-of-the-ring second interview over the phone if they want, but I was preferring to do it in person, since we have accessibility to them, uh, but, you know, it is what it is, but I just wanted to, I gotta get this, I tried calling you yesterday, but you didn't answer, and then I didn't get no call back, so... Yeah, I did try calling back, but I don't know, it was like, I don't know, it like, it didn't ring, I mean, it said calling, but nothing ever rang, then I went through the voicemail. Yeah, I think my phone's on its way out, but, the other thing is, is that I ordered a Bluetooth adapter before this one that came in today, and it wouldn't do phone calls, so I was like getting real discouraged, like, fuck, here we go, another 30 bucks, again, nothing's working, well, $15 for that one, $15 for this one, but, um, what it does do, is I hooked up the Xbox One controller to it, and I programmed it for Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Sega, SNES, everything. It fucking does everything. And I can hook up more than one controller to it. So I have other Xbox One controllers, so we can play more games now, without having to spend more money on controllers. Yeah. It's, and I have other Bluetooth wireless controllers too. So, we have options, I've been picking up controllers from the thrift stores like crazy, over the last year, so I have other Bluetooth controllers that we can try out too. And, yeah, and then that's the thing, is on, I got Duke Nukem 64 working, took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to get the controls right, cause it doesn't have a picture of the controller there, so you know which buttons you're programming, so I had to pull a 64 controller out of my drawer to look at it and do it, and then I was, and then each game uses those buttons differently, so I just kept the controller the same so I didn't have to remap it every time. But we now have cord-free capabilities. Oh, wow. So I'm gonna keep both adapters, especially since this one's working fine, and the beauty part about it is, this one is a USB-powered 3.5mm headphone jack, so I plugged it into the USB strip that's behind the monitor, and that powers it up, and then I plug it into the audio import jack on the soundboard, so now I can play Bluetooth audio from my phone and turn the volume up and down, I can turn the phone call up and down, I can make you louder, I can make you quieter, I can do a ton of shit now. Yeah, so if it sounds, it sounds pretty good when I'm talking with the phone to your head. Yeah, you know, it's just how your voice is, too, so it doesn't sound, I mean, it's not the best quality, but I mean, if we did remote interviews or something, I think it'd sound fine. Once you play it back, then you see how it really acts. So I might have to do a phone call to Jim and see if he can get him and his wife sitting there on speakerphone or something, or give them, order them a USB clip-on device, unless they want to buy their own that they want to use, then, or I can give them, you know what I can do is find an adapter for the USB Fi-Fi microphones we have and plug it into their phone and see if it works, because if it does, they can put their phone on a wireless charger and they can have a microphone where they can talk to us because it's a dynamic mic where it picks up everything around them. So all they've got to do is find a quiet room and they can have every band member right there talking to us over the phone. So I might have to head out there and try that out or at least see what happens, you know. Or we can try it out with your phone if you have a USB Type-C. I think the only thing I would really have to do is find I think I have the adapters here to convert from USB Type-A that goes into the computer, you know, and convert it to a Type-C that goes into your phone. I have that adapter here, so I think I can, you know what, I might have to try and see if that works with myself. I don't know how I would do that though. I would just call you from my phone with that microphone and see how that works. I could try that in a minute and see if it even powers it up and how much it draws. But, yeah, I'll try that and then we'll see what happens. But, uh, I'll end the call now and then I'll play this back and see how it sounds and then I might be able to send you a recording. Okay. Let me try that and then I'll try that USB microphone and I'll hit you up in a little while. Alright, cool. Alright, man. Laters. Alright.
