For over 30 years, I've worked with those who are dying and their families. First, I was a hospice chaplain and visited patients and families in their homes. Then, I became a palliative care chaplain at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Now, I'm retired and serve as a death doula. My hope is to help others become less fearful around death. I'm also a mom, wife, sister and daughter who loves to read, garden, crochet and raise monarchs.
