Nothing to say, yet
The speaker discusses the belief that Jesus is still a miracle worker, despite society and false teachers claiming otherwise. They explain that while miracles may not be as prevalent as they were in biblical times, God is still a miracle worker. The speaker references various instances of miracles performed by Jesus and the apostles in the Bible. They emphasize the importance of having faith in God and speaking the word of God in order to receive miracles. The speaker encourages listeners to activate their faith and believe in the impossible. They also discuss the concept of seeing miracles with spiritual eyes and changing one's perspective to align with God's promises. Praise the Lord, thanks of God, welcome to Make Today a Great Study in the Word. Today I want to talk about the miracle worker and we know that Jesus is still a miracle worker. Society, theologians, religions, false teachers will tell us that Jesus is no longer working miracles but that is not the truth. God is still a miracle worker and it may be easy to believe that he's not because we do not see miracles in some places. In some places miracles are happening every day but many times around us in our life we do not see miracles just happening every day. But that still does not take away the fact that God is a miracle worker. Jesus worked miracle after miracle when he walked on earth. He worked miracles all the time. People were healed, blind eyes were opened, deaf ears were unlocked, the dead were raised. So we may be questioning why don't we see these types of miracles today and as I said they are happening but we don't hear about them as we read in the Bible. So why is that? So we want to delve into that a little bit today and as we look at the scriptures we can see that the apostles as they were filled with the Holy Ghost they were continuing to work miracles. In Acts chapter 3 verses 1-10 Peter and John healed the lame man at the beautiful gate. In Acts chapter 5 many were healed by Peter. In Acts chapter 6 the apostles were freed from prison by angels. In Acts chapter 8 unclean spirits were cast out. In Acts chapter 9 a man was healed of a palsy. So we see the miracles continuing even after Jesus went back to heaven the apostles they went to the upper room they were filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost and they continued to work miracles in the name of Jesus and I have been in places and in services and prayed for people and have seen miracles but they are not as prevalent as they were in the day of the Bible but we cannot get it in our minds that God is no longer working miracles because he is. So what do we have to do to get miracles in our life to see God work miracles in our lives? Well we have to know what the word of God says concerning these things. So we want to first go to Mark chapter 11 and we want to start reading at verse 11. And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple so when he looked around at all things as the hour was already late he went out to Bethany with the twelve and now the next day when they had come out of Bethany he was hungry and seen from afar a fig tree having leaves he went to see if perhaps he would find something on it when he came to it he found nothing but leaves for the season of figs was not yet in response Jesus said to it he spoke to the tree let no one eat fruit from you ever again. Now we're going to drop down to verses 23 and 24 actually we're going to start at 22. So Jesus answered and said to them have faith in God for surely I say to you whoever says to this mountain be removed and be cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things he says will be done he will have whatever he says therefore I say to you whatever things you ask when you pray believe that you receive them and you will have them the first key to receiving our miracle from the Lord is to speak the word concerning your situation so we see in this text that Jesus went to the fig tree looking to get something to eat and there were no figs on the tree he spoke directly to the tree and said nobody's going to eat figs off you ever anymore and so the next day as they were coming through and the disciples saw the fig tree they said look Jesus the tree that you curse does not it died from the root up and Jesus said have faith in God we if we want miracles in our life we have to have faith in God if we want to see God do the end see that's what faith is for faith is for us to be able to believe God for the impossible so if you're not using your faith to believe God for something that's impossible then you're not using your faith if something is possible if we know like when we work we work a week or we work a month or we work two weeks and we know at the end of that two weeks they're going to give us a paycheck that doesn't require any faith because we know that that's something that's going to happen and it's not impossible but when we believe God for something that man says or that the world says or society says is not possible that's when we are using our faith that's why God gives us faith so that we can believe the impossible it takes faith to believe that God is we haven't seen him with our eyes we can feel his presence but we take it by faith and that God is real because someone taught us or told us along the way that God is real we learned it in Sunday school we learned it from our parents we learned it from somebody told us that God is real and as we made a decision to believe that God is real we have to believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him to get saved it requires faith so God has given every man the measure of faith we all have been given the measure of faith that's in Romans 12 and three but we so we make a decision to operate our faith we make a decision to believe what God's word says so we have to activate our faith we have to use our faith so how do we activate our faith we speak the word concerning our situation we speak the word of God Jesus cursed the picture he said no one's going to eat fruit from you ever and we can do the same things that Jesus did and greater so he said nobody's going to eat fruit from you here now forevermore and that's exactly what happened when they went by the next day the fig tree had died we have to speak the word of God in our situations whatever our circumstances is is whether it's our health our finances our trouble we have to speak the word of God and our situations our circumstances have to line up with the word of God if we are speaking in faith we can say stuff all day long but if we don't have faith if we don't have trust if we don't have belief in God and in his word then what we're designed is not going to take place so that's what Jesus told the disciples this how did this happen Jesus he said have faith in God or have the God kind of faith because as I said earlier in Romans 12 and 3 it says God has dealt to every man or given to every man the measure of faith we have the same capacity to operate in faith and receive miracles just as Jesus and the apostles did we have the same power we have the same ability the same authority through the Holy Spirit we have the same ability we have the measure of faith that means we can grow our faith to the capacity to believe God to receive everything that he has promised us in his word he's promised us health he's promised us prosperity he has promised us so many things peace we can receive all of it by faith just as we receive salvation by faith for us by faith we are saved through grace we believe in what Jesus did at the cross we believe that Jesus died on the cross and that he shed his blood that mankind might have a right to eternal life we believe that so in believing that we become saved we believe what the scripture has said we get baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus taking on his name and we become filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost we are birthed into the kingdom by the water and by the spirit because we believe what the scripture says it takes faith it's a matter of faith to believe okay if I do these things if I repent of my sins if I get baptized in the name of Jesus and get filled with the Holy Ghost then I'm in the kingdom it takes faith to believe that we don't I mean they may give you a certificate when you get baptized but that's not what declares that you're safe it's your faith that's how we receive the Holy Spirit by faith we have evidence that we have received it when we speak in other tongues but we receive it by faith because how can we speak in a language a heavenly language that we haven't learned nobody's taught us it happens because we believe we receive it by our faith that in itself is a miracle to receive the Holy Spirit it's a miracle God he is his free gift that he gives us so our faith has to be like God's faith so when we look at God what kind of faith did we see in the beginning God said let there be light and there was light he spoke what he believed and he received what he believed when he spoke it then there was light everything that God wanted he spoke it and it came into existence we have to have the same faith as have the God kind of faith faith that speaks faith that believes what we speak shall come to pass but we have to believe it believing and speaking have to work hand in hand and it and we have to believe it before we see it with our natural eyes and the Lord was just telling me this this morning that you know we sometimes use the definition for faith as believing without seeing but you know what that's not accurate because to receive it we have to see it we don't see it with our natural eye but we have to see it as ours with our spiritual eye we have to believe that it's ours before it physically manifests so we have to see it we have to see it by faith we have to see ourselves healed we have to see ourselves prosperous we have to see it we have to see that image that faith with our faith has to create an image it has to create the reality that we want to receive from God that is a revelation you got to get that revelation your your spiritual eye your supernatural spiritual eye has to see you healed has to see you in the car that you need has to see you in the job that you desire has to see you with the make that you want your faith has to see it in the realm of the spirit and it will manifest in the realm of the natural but you have to believe it you have to get a spiritual supernatural picture of faith of what you are believing God for you have to change your perspective you have to change your paradigm you have to change the way you see things and see things as the scripture says the scripture says that by his stripes we are healed the scripture says that all of our needs are supplied according to his riches and glory this we have to know what the scripture says and believe it and get a faith picture so we do have to see it we have to see it with the eye of faith and we believe it and we speak it because then that's when we get manifestation in the natural realm but you have to believe it you have to see it you have to eliminate your ability to doubt you have to do that you have to eliminate your ability to doubt and that how do we eliminate our ability to doubt we have to continue to see it in the realm of the spirit we have to see it with our spiritual eye that it's done that it's done that it has happened that it is our reality because faith is the substance now faith is the substance of hebrews 11 and 1 now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence our faith is the evidence our faith is what gives it substance is what gives it tangibility is what brings it from the realm of the supernatural over to the realm of the natural so we have to believe what god has promised we have to believe what the word says before we see it with our natural but we got to see it we have to see it in the realm of the spirit we have to see it with the eyes of faith and trust what god has promised he is also able to perform so you have to get rid of your ability to doubt because we have the ability to doubt well you have to get rid of doubt and unbelief you have to eliminate that out of your life you have to eliminate it out of your thinking you have to eliminate it out of your mouth you can't speak negative you can't talk against the word of god because you're going to cancel out your faith you're going to cancel out your miracle and you will not receive what god has promised you have to believe what you're saying you have to believe it in your heart believing must be your only option i just you just got to get to a place i'm just to a place where i just gonna choose i just choose that i'm going to believe god i we have to we have to make that decision each person has to make that decision for yourself i'm just gonna believe god i choose not to do any because it's a choice it's a choice to believe the word of god it's a choice to believe what god says it's a choice to doubt it's a choice to allow unbelief to come in and steal your faith so when that unbelief and that doubt comes to your mind you have to take every thought captive to the obedience of christ you have to take that negative evil thought and cast it down and say i'm not going to believe the lies of the enemy i'm not going to believe the lies of satan i'm not going to observe lying vanities because when we observe lying vanities we forsake our own mercy i'm not going to believe the lies of the enemy i'm only going to believe what god has told me in his word it is a decision it is a choice that each of us has to make for ourselves faith is the conviction of the truth of god's word do you really believe what god's word says that's how you get a miracle you have to make up your mind i'm gonna believe only what god has said in his word his word is true and everything else is a lie even what i feel even what seems to be going on that's a lie because only god's word is true so we gotta see it faith is belief faith is trust i mean do we really trust god you have to decide for yourself do i really trust god i trusted him to save me i trusted him to fill me with the holy ghost i trusted him to do everything that has happened good in my life god did it everything good that has happened to me god did it he gave me he gives me peace he gives me joy he supplies my needs he gave me a family he gave me a good husband he gave me children everything good that's happened to me god did it so why why would i stop trusting him now why would i stop believing him now just because it doesn't look like it's going well or doesn't feel like it's going well see we can't go by facts we got to go by truth it may be a fact because the doctor has said that you're sick that could that's a fact in the natural but in the spiritual the truth is that by stripes i'm healed so i can't go by yes we're gonna have pain and we're going to uh have have we're gonna suffer that pain and we're gonna go through that pain but even in the midst of that our faith has to say i'm well does it look like it it doesn't feel like it but faith says what the word of god says that i'm well that jesus himself took my infirmities and bear my sickness in his body on the tree being dead to sin that i might live unto righteousness i may not feel too alive right now but this is the word of god says i'm alive i may not i may be having pain in my body right now but the word of god says i'm healed even in the midst of our pain even in the midst of sickness we have to say by his stripes i'm healed you have to be convinced you have to be we have to be convinced that what god has promised what he has said is the truth we have to be convinced of that we cannot we have it can't we can't be moved like abraham when he was told to take isaac and to sacrifice him even before he received the promise he believed the promise calling those things that be not as though they were we have to call those things romans 4 13 we have to call those things that be not as though they were that's what abraham did he every time he said his name abraham he was saying i'm the father of many nations but he didn't actually literally receive that but he believed it before it transpired he believed it when god told him this christian says he's staggered not at the promise of god in unbelief but being strong in faith glory to god being strong in faith we got to be strong in faith and if our faith is not at the level of strong then we got to renew our mind until we get to the level of strong faith because strong faith receives the promise where strong faith receives the miracle so be as strong in faith he received the promise but he believed it before he saw it he believed because every time he said his name abraham he's saying i'm the father of many nations he was confessing what god had told him that's what god changed his name because every time he said i'm abraham he was saying i'm the father of many nations so every time we open our mouth we have to say what god is saying and when we speak sometimes even jesting or joking we say negative things that's getting in our spirit but every time he said i'm abraham he's saying i'm who god says i am i'm the father of many nations i don't see a son i'm old my wife is old her womb is dead but i believe god and i'm against hope i believe in hope i believe what god has promised that's how we have to be we have to when it seems like there is no hope we got to believe when it seems like there is no way out we got to believe when it seems that our back is against the wall we got to believe when it seems like our money is gone and we don't know what else we're gonna do we gotta believe we gotta make a decision i i'm just gonna trust god i refuse to do anything else my faith eliminates fear my faith eliminates doubt my faith eliminates anxiety my faith eliminates stress i just choose to believe god i refuse to do anything else we have to see it with the eyes of faith our faith must remain constant and be unshakable even in the most dire circumstances in what may be our darkest hour we have to hold on to our faith we have to hold fast to our confession of faith knowing that he who promised is also able to perform that he's going to bring to pass what he has said we have to not get tired galatians six and nine and let us not be weary in well-doing or in due season we shall reap if we think not what is well doing speaking the word meditating on the word living the word seeing manifestation seeing it with our eyes of faith that's what well we can't get tired we can't get weary and in due season that is god's appointed time not when we say but god's appointed time we have to stay with the word of god and trust that god is able ephesians 3 and 20 says now to him who is able to do exceedingly see our minds really can't even conceive how much god is able to do for us it says exceedingly that means way above abundantly that means to the greatest amount beyond what we can even imagine above all that we ask or think see we can't even we can't really even think big enough according to the power that works in us to him be glory in the church by christ jesus to all generations forever and ever amen now unto him who is able to do far above all that we can imagine all that we can we could even think and and we can't not get tired we have to be diligent in our faith he said he is a reward of them that diligently seek him and that without faith it's impossible to please him so we can't slack up on our faith we have to be diligent uh hebrews 6 11 through 12 says and we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end and that you be not flowful but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promise we can only receive what god has promised us through faith and patience we have to have both we can't get because see when we get impatient when we get aggravated and we get irritated we let go of we let our faith start slipping because we don't get aggravated it ain't happened yet i don't know what's going on nothing's happening god ain't gonna come through see then we give up it ain't got start all over again rebuilding your faith getting back on the right track but it says have the same diligence which is persistent tenacity and it is continuous full complete and total assurance or confidence of hope until the end don't get lazy imitate those who through faith and patience that's content endurance waiting joyfully inherit the promise see we sometimes we don't be waiting joyfully we don't be patient that means content endurance not um just you know impatient oh i can't wait god oh when is it gonna happen i don't know what's going on that's not that's not faith because if you're anxious you can't be in faith it can't you can't have both so you have to get rid of anxiety and it says be diligent persistent continuous and have full complete assurance confidence until the end until we see it with our physical eyes that's why you got to see it first with your spiritual eyes with the eyes of faith you have to see what god has promised you have to believe and then you will get the manifestation in the realm of the natural you got to see it first in the realm of the supernatural and you have to patiently endure to obtain the promise it's not going to happen any other way because see we have to believe that god can't lie and he can't change he can't so either we're going to believe what he's promised or we're not we have to make a decision that i believe god i trust god for i need a miracle and i'm trusting god for that's the only way we're going to receive what god has for us we have to speak it we have to believe it and we have to stay with it we have to patiently endure to the end god is still a miracle worker god is a healer he is a provider he is a way maker we have to know that we have to believe that that's the basis of our christian belief the basis of being kingdom citizens is that we believe in god we believe that he is we believe it we know it we haven't seen him but i just know he's real i see the effects of what he has done in my life i feel his presence because i have relationship with him i communicate with him i talk with him i'm he's my friend that i can call on when i can't call on anybody else i can talk to him i know he's there and i know he hears i just believe god i just trust him and that's a decision each of us have to make for ourselves i'm just going to believe god he is the miracle worker so you got to decide for yourself am i going to believe what the word says or not just like we choose each day are we going to make each day great because this is the day that the lord has made and i'm going to rejoice and be glad in it it's up to us it's up to us each and every day to make each day great it's up to us each and every day to choose to believe god it's up to us each and every day to choose to make a decision how are we going to live our lives are we going to conform to the ways of this world are we going to be conformed to the ways of christ are we going to be conformed to the image of his son that we are living the way god desires for us to live it's a decision it's a choice and what we choose that's the consequences we're going to get if we choose to i'm going to have a great day then our consequences see we always think of consequences as being negative but consequences whatever the outcome is that's our consequences so if i choose i'm gonna have a good day then that's my that's my outcome i'm going to have a good day i pray that you have received something from the word of god today i pray that you will know that god is real and that you will trust him and that you will make a decision i'm just going to trust god i refuse to do anything else that's each one of us has to decide that for ourselves just like we decide whether or not we're going to make each day great god bless you i'm praying for you i truly am i pray for the people of god i pray that the people of god will be blessed that the people of god will be healthy that the people of god will be emotionally strong mentally strong that the people of god will do the work of the kingdom i pray for the people of god have a great day god bless you i love you all
