Just an intro about me and what I am trying to do here
The speaker shares their experience of feeling overwhelmed and thinking that their struggles should come to an end. They express the desire to connect with others who may relate to their chaotic life. They mention the challenges they have faced, including their child's leukemia diagnosis, separation, frequent moves, financial struggles, mental health issues, and raising their two sons. They hope to find solace and a sense of community through podcasting. Did you ever just walk around going, this has to stop, right? Like, I don't think anyone else should have to deal with more than I already have on my plate. Then, bam, here's some more. Well, that very thought was what brought me here. I figured I couldn't be the only one who has felt that way, and then thought maybe my life's chaos could be relatable to others. The last 17 months has been the icing on the cake of the what fuckery. In June 2022, my then 8-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia unexpectedly. Prior to that, I'd been separated for almost 7 years, had to move more than 4 times, struggled financially, worked to the point of legit breakdown daily, and had a slew of attempts at dating, all while being diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and raising my two boys. And I know I'm not alone in this craziness. There are others out there I'm hoping that can get a laugh, a cry, or at least there are other people out there like me, out of my attempt at podcasting. So there it is.
