I discovered solace in poetry and music, using them as a sanctuary to navigate life's complexities. Music's notes compelled me to translate emotions into poetry, birthing my journey as a poet. Beyond words, I found joy in the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Corps, shaping my character and storytelling with discipline and camaraderie. If I wasn't in Cadets, I was found nose deep in a book, furthering my knowledge of writing and storytelling.
