The discussion revolves around rap beef in the hip-hop industry, specifically focusing on the differences between male and female rap beef. The conversation touches on how women fight differently and are more willing to cross boundaries in their lyrics. The participants debate whether physical altercations are more likely to occur between men or women, with the conclusion that it is difficult to determine. They also discuss the potential outcome of a fight between two popular female rappers, Meg Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj. Overall, the conversation highlights the distinct approaches and perceptions of rap beef between men and women. Touche. And we're back right here on the Underplum Line, Doc and Larry P discussing rap beef amongst women in hip hop. And here's the direction I wanna shift this into. I feel like we were talking during the break about rap beef in general. And to the extent that my understanding of rap beef has always been nothing is off limits. And women fight different. And always. You and I have both been in arguments with women before. And when you argue with a woman, one of the things that you have to understand is that their objective is to win. Their objective is not to make sense. And that's the difference between male rap beef and female rap beef. And probably why you don't see very many rap beefs that are between men and women, because the woman is probably always gonna win in that rap beef. Because they don't have a line that they're not willing to cross. Men know like, hey man, I ain't gonna, you know. Now Pusha T. I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna go that far. Pusha T went that far with Drake. Pusha T would not go that far with Nicki Minaj. You didn't. What Drake? You didn't Pusha T and get on the track and say, your husband is on the offender list. He would not do that. He wouldn't do that. But they said Drake had some fire for Pusha T. And J Prince told Drake. And they said, hey bro, come on man. J Prince said, you gonna ruin that man career. Because I think, here's my theory. But at the same time, they do say Drake has female tendency. So here's my theory. With men, and I know this from like coming up as a youth. Once you have gotten past the war of words, your only solution is, hey, we gotta fight. Gotta go off the hands. You gotta go off the hands. Hey Nicki, wait, which one of them had a not on their head, Cardi B? Cardi tried to squabble with Nicki. And Cardi had a not on her head. But women don't operate in that manner. Like you don't, it's very like, I think this is why like shows like Love and Hip Hop are so popular is because it's so uncommon to see women like squabbling. Women don't do that. Women squabble. But not to the extent that men do. Men fighting publicly is very, very common. Women fight. Women fight, nobody's squabbling. But you have the opinion that it is more likely to see men in a physical altercation versus women? I think it's a 50-50. I think it is more likely that men will be involved in a physical altercation than women. I think women love physical. I think, honestly, I think men, men are more likely to be in physical altercations that result in death. I feel that women, however, 100% are in just as many physical altercations as men are. Because, because, I can't see my face if you're listening, but the thing about it is nobody records the women. You always record the men. Yes, they do. You don't record the women all the time. Women are petty. Women do petty stuff. With the perfect example, and this is the reason why we see more men fight than we see women fight, right? Men are like dogs. Women are like cats. And that example says that dogs take a crap in the backyard and they walk off. And they leave it for anybody else to find. I just took this poop, y'all, record it. Women take a poop, as cats do, and they cover it up in the litter box. Nobody saw it. Women have an understanding. Hey, we better go fight this girl. We better go, we better beef with this girl. Nobody record. Nobody do nothing. The same way women cheat is the same way women fight. Nobody knew what happened. I think the difference is the physical versus the emotional. I think men are more inclined to attack you physically than to attack you emotionally. So let's take a look at this particular situation. If this was two dudes, when they saw each other, it's probably gonna be off on sight. Probably gonna be off sight. Maybe. I think that's why it seems so out of pocket when Cardi B tried to run up on Nikki is because it's just like, hey, that's not ladylike. But she also ran up on her in a very public event. Facts, facts, no shoes. But in this particular circumstance, you see a situation in which women have no limits when it comes to attacking your emotions. And for Nikki to be out here, especially as old as she is, making references to Meg Thee Stallion's deceased mother, that would just seem a little out of pocket if a man do it. A lot of women can't fight. A lot of women can't fight. They stand behind the bars, but they can't fight. Because they don't think nobody gonna hit them. And let me clarify. And when I say nobody's gonna hit them, I wanna say they don't think another woman is going to hit them. Because I am in no way, shape, or form like saying anything about like, this is about women versus women. I just wanna make that very clear. If you put Meg and Nikki, so this is the thing. And another thing that men can do. We can put another man versus, one man versus another man in a ring and we can come to a speculation who will win. You put women in a ring, you really don't know who will win. You put Meg versus Nikki, you don't know who wins that fight. But that's also not what defines who won the fight though. So here's the thing, with men, one of the defaults is, well yeah, he do that, but he can't beat my ass though. Like that's a common thing that men will say. Because their default is physical dominance. The default is, no matter what this man says, he can have more money, he can have more respect, he can be smarter than me. But if I can physically dominate him, I am the alpha in this situation. And that's what I'm saying. That's not the case for women. Yeah. Cardi, we all know, we put them in the octagon. We already know. Men go bust Cardi, I mean, bust Nikki up. You think so? Yeah, come on man. Celebrity death match, Mills Lane. I don't think you can really, like I said, I think with men, you can always be like, oh, we know who gonna win in the octagon. With women, I don't know. The only argument would you would be saying is that you don't think men can fight. No, and that's what I'm saying. A lot of women can't fight. But at the same time, I always think like, in the situation, I always think it's one woman that can't fight. So you just assuming that men can fight. I'm assuming that there's a physical, she's bigger than me. But you're assuming that she can fight. I'm not assuming she can fight, I'm assuming she's bigger. But that's the thing. But that's the thing. Like with men, you don't have to have this conversation. You don't have to assume like, at the end of the day, you assume like, oh, well, both of these dudes know how to throw fists. Like when a boxing match happens, both of them know how to throw fists. They meet up in the octagon, both of them know how to throw fists. But with women, I assume she's bigger. In the same situation, like if you put Floyd Mayweather versus maybe Deontay Wilder, right? You say, Deontay Wilder should- Are we boxing or is it a fight? It's a fight. Okay. Deontay Wilder will murk him in a fight. Yeah, he would because he's a street fighter. But if you put him in a ring, if you put him in a ring, who wins? Deontay Wilder or Floyd? Because Floyd know how to, he know how to do that. But if it's a sport, if it's a sport, it's different. But that's my thing. That's my thing. Men, you can put them up against each other. Women, it's different. If we're talking about a sanctioned fight, a sanctioned match- No, let's not even go sanctioned. Let's go street. Go street. If we're going street, I'm going Meg. You're going Meg versus Nikki. How big is Nikki? Nikki like five feet tall. Like how big is Meg? Tall. Oh, she like five, 5'10 or something like that. She a stallion. She's nothing- They don't call her Meg the lamb. How long does she can fight though? I don't say, it don't matter if she can fight. She can sit on top of her. I'm going to tell you one thing. I'm going to tell you one thing. I ain't going to drop no names. I ain't going to drop no names. When I was in high school, top basketball player in high school, he was about six something, six something. Um, the best dressed dude in high school was about five something. They met at the club once. Who won that fight? I'm going to assume based on your premise, that's the best dressed dude. Exactly. But what did he do? Did he cheat? No, he didn't cheat. He went straight ahead. Straight ahead. The bigger dude couldn't fight. Here's the thing. Meg the lamb is 5'10". Nicki Minaj is 5'2". Meg the lamb is from Houston. Nicki Minaj is from New York. Okay. Who do you think knows how to fight better? Anybody knowing how to fight. Meg the lamb is 5'10". All she got to do is like, if she catch her in like a abdominal stretch. Catch, catch. Oh, so like, Nicki's going to have to stick and move. It don't matter about- You think Nicki's going to stick and move? If I put Nicki on the streets, if I put Nicki on the streets- You think she's going to have the head movement? Versus Meg on the streets, I promise you, I promise you, Nicki might win that fight. Now here's the thing, it's an unsanctioned fight. It's unsanctioned? It's a street fight. So can she pick up like a bottle? Yes. Maybe a little wrench? Yes. Or something like, okay, well then you're talking about a different story. No, we're not. We're talking about fighting, like they fighting. No, because if we're just talking about like, hey, no holds barred, you know. We talk about- It's a death match. We talk about Magnum pulled up. We talking about Magnum got tired of the BS. You know what I'm saying? Some joint by my mama, you know, talked about my mama. Matt pulled up on Nicki in the street. Vroom, vroom. Straight out the studio, Nicki walking out. And here come Matt. Vroom. That's the sound of the Hellcat. Cause I'm assuming that's what she riding in. So she ride up on the- Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. So she pulled up with the Hellcat. Uh huh. And say, yo, yo, yo, Nicki, I heard you talking stuff about my mama. And then, you know what I'm saying? Cool. Nicki already from New York. She in defense stance. Cause you don't hop out no Hellcat. Yo, a Hellcat don't pull up with you in New York and you not already on defense. So you on defense already. She on defense. Boom. You told- See, she looking at is, is there a brick nearby? Cause I'm thinking, I'm thinking, look, I'm, I'm, I'm five. Cause you thinking Nicki Minaj gonna go full Eddie Guerrero. I'm five. Lie, cheat, steal. She gonna pick something up. Yeah. I'm five, 11, six feet. If somebody seven feet walk up, I'm not looking to fight him fair. So I'm looking at Nicki to do the same thing. If Nicki five feet and Meg five, 11 or five, 10, then yeah. Find things, you know? So boom. And then let's say security doesn't step in. Let's say security just say, y'all do y'all thing. Meg hop out. Boom. I don't think Meg can fight like Nicki can fight. So here's it. Because there's a thing. Here's what I agree with you about. If you are a woman at five, 10, the likelihood that you have ever had to fight another woman is highly unlikely. And I say this with all due respect. And I've been debating on it if I was gonna mention this, but I said this in the nicest way possible. And I apologize for what I'm about to say. And I probably shouldn't say this. You see all the purposes I'm giving? It sounds like you shouldn't say it at all. Meg big in the Tory Lanez, man. Hmm. That's why he had to cheat. But he cheated with somebody the same size though. No, no, no, no, no. He had to cheat. That's why he shot her in the foot. Oh. He gonna squabble with Meg. Hey Nikki said, hey Nikki said, hey Nikki said. Tory Lanez had no. If that was like, what is it? Talk about shooting a fair one? If Tory and Meg had shot the fair one, Tory knew what time it was. Nah, Nikki said, I told her to get up on a good foot. I feel like we missing that. I don't want us to miss that, man. Like rap beef can be so fun if y'all just let it be fun. Nikki said, I told her to get up on a good foot. That's a good foot, y'all. The good foot is the one that ain't got shot in. It's for y'all that didn't catch that. Oh man. But rap beef can be so fun if y'all don't try to make it life or death. The problem is rappers make things life or death and I'm not attributing this to women. I'm men. Y'all made it life or death and that's why it's not fun no more. A lot of people was looking at that Nikki version and they was like, he's weak. And I was like, I was entertained. Oh, Nick, here's the thing. Here's the difference between the two tracks. Meg was trying to make reference to all these other people. It's very much a Nas and Jay-Z situation. When Jay-Z made Takeover, he had a lot of people he needed to address. When Nas came back, he was only talking about Jay-Z. It's very similar in a situation where Meg was talking about a lot of people. When Nikki came in, it was, I'm only here to talk about Meg. I'm only here to talk about Meg and I got a lot to say. Meg, I mean, Nikki said, you've been lying to the queen and you lied to the king. And she was talking about Gayle King. Bars. Straight bars. You gotta be entertained, baby. You gotta be entertained, man. Y'all need to go look up the Nikki lyrics. Get up on your good foot. Everybody that said Bigfoot was bad, like it may have not been the most impressive lines, but it was the most entertaining lines that you have heard. But, and Nikki's probably tired of being embodied in these situations because when, when Ramiro released Sheather, it wasn't a great, it wasn't a great look for Nikki Minaj. She was on her. She was on her heart. Like white on rice. But the problem is now, you know, I felt like Nikki had developed a better reputation within the community. Like I felt like the Cardi B situation happened and they had separated, but I thought Nikki and Meg, you know, had a better understanding. But now it shows that Nikki got beef with every woman who comes into rap who gets more popular than her. I don't know what that's about. And that is a fat jack. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line. That's the unemployment line.
