You're listening to the Kuroshiromi Daily Run Podcast, a podcast for your daily dose of information where we discuss interesting ideas, breaking news, and interview businesses, as well as so much more. Today, it's just me. You're just listening to me. Today's episode is on goal-setting, manifestation, and I guess to an extent, adulthood. So, as you may know, or maybe not, I don't know, you may not know me at all. Hello, I'm Kimi. I run this podcast. I am currently a marketing specialist, but I like recently quit that job because I found out that it was not for me, or like I guess I could be doing it, but I found a better option. So, I am currently in training to be a financial advisor. So, I'm a financial advisor. I'm a model. I'm a student trying to go to university. I am a sister, a daughter, a girlfriend, amongst many other things, and it is tough. It is very tough, but that's the world we live in, right? But I'm not here to scare you. I'm here to tell you how I got here and tell you how to set goals and how to manifest your perfect life. So, first and foremost, setting goals. Our whole life as children, we've been told that we can do anything, and when we're younger, we really do try and do any and everything that we want to, but then we hit, you know, around 13 when we realized that money is a thing. Maybe you realized it earlier, but around that time, you realize money is a thing, and you realize your goals may be a little bit harder to achieve than you think, but this is where most people fail. You cannot stifle the child's brain. Use the same sort of childlike wonder, childlike belief, that you can do anything and transfer it into your adult life. So, this is where manifestation comes into play. I personally love using the Pinterest method. I have talked about it in my YouTube video on how I built my apartment or how I built my kitchen and whatnot, where you save pictures, and you make collages and boards and truly visualize what your ideal life looks like, and then proceed to try and take the same picture or try and live that life according to your saved things on Pinterest. And manifestation, there's so many different variations. There's so many different, you know, ways that you can manifest things. Some people like writing. Some people like meditating on it. I personally just like the convenience of saving a Pinterest thing and then sort of trying to work on and being able to visualize because I'm a very, very visual person. But goal setting, right? I think each person should sit down. So, okay, imagine we're doing like a consulting right now. Sit down, take out a piece of paper, and write down three things. So, we're going to write down values, the three main values. You're going to write down a mantra, maybe, of some sort. And then you're going to write down four to five habits or three to five habits that you do every single day that align with your core values and move you forward in living the life that you want to live. So, for example, my values are inquisitiveness, ambition, and elegance. So, I want to, I'm very interested in everything in life, and I want to learn as much as possible. That's why I'm inquisitive. I'm very ambitious. I have very high goals, and I want to do everything in a sort of elegant way. I don't want to be crazy, rowdy, even though I guess sometimes I do put out that sort of energy, but I don't want to do it in a way that would hinder my appearance. So, I want to do everything very elegantly. And my sort of mantra, I guess you could say, is that I wish to reinstate the Chino family wealth, or the Thousandfields family wealth, or if you ergo the name, alright, Thousandfields. Allegedly, our family once owned a thousand fields, and they were a very wealthy Japanese family, not farmers, but aristocrats or whatnot. And I wish to rebuild that in a sense. I would love to own a golfing course at some point in my life with a thousand fields, or maybe a company, a golfing company or something of that sort with a thousand fields. That's the idea, right? So, and my three daily habits are minimally having 10k steps. That's, I every single day walk minimally 10k steps. If it's 7 p.m. and I haven't walked my 10k steps, I will go on a walk. Secondly, I make sure to write three things I did that day for a to-do list. Thirdly, I drink two liters of water. I can change this up, sometimes I do, but for now, these are my three main every single day things that I do, and they help me move forward in what I wish to do with my life. But anyways, so write down your values, write down your mantra, and write down the three things that you are going to do every single day. Then, focus on the dream life. Download Pinterest, or I don't know, get it online or something. Make a visual board of exactly what you want in your life. Now, let's say, you know, the usual. You're a like a 19 year old guy, you really fucking want a Porsche, a yacht, you know, club membership at the golf or something, a motorcycle, I don't know what you want. Great, all right, you got that goal. What does the person who owns all of that or does all of that or is includes with all that do? Is he an investor? Does he own a business? Does he do this and this and that? You really need to look into what that person does. What does that person's day look like, and how is it possible that they own all this shit? So, really garner not what you want physically, but what does that person do? Once you have that, let's say, you're an investor, right? So, once you have the fact that the person who does all these things that you want to do and without working is an investor, you need to focus on how the heck are you going to become an investor. So, investors are people who have a lot of money and they invest it wisely into things that give them more money, and they start early. This is very important. They start as soon as possible. So, your next goal is to generate income. You need to build wealth to make more wealth. That's a fact, a rule. So, you need to generate income in some sense and a lot of income if you want to garner such a lifestyle, and you need to also be knowledgeable. You need to know what to invest in so that the money that you made will make you more money. So, there you go. You got another sub-goal. You need to educate yourself on how to make more money, and you need to educate yourself and make more money. Actually, physically, get a fucking job, and I'm not saying get a job at a fucking cow fund. No. That's a supermarket store in Czech Republic, by the way. No, you need to find a way, look into what are your skills. How can you be valuable to society? And this is where we come into sort of interesting things in anthropology and something I'm sort of studying at the moment is what makes you valuable to society. If you think about how everything worked a million years ago, right? Depending on how valuable you are to society, people will give more to you. You are more valuable to society, ergo, you deserve to experience more. You deserve to have that Porsche. You deserve to have that family vacation in Tuscany, right? So, you need to figure out how are you valuable to society, what skills and what energy can you bring to society, and then act upon that. So, let's say that you're a great marketer. Awesome. Start a marketing firm or get employed at a marketing firm. I guarantee you if you email a hundred marketing firms, and I'm saying this number, a hundred marketing firms, I guarantee you at least one will reply with the fact that you can work there. And it might be for money, it might be for free, but at that moment you need to garner experience and you need to utilize those skills and become valuable to society. The moment that you become valuable to society, you will gain money, because society rewards value with money. That's the whole way that our system, our, our government works. Value is rewarded with money. So, you begin to generate income. You're making bank, you're working as, I don't know, whatever you're working as. So, now your knowledge from, you know, making this money, I mean, your knowledge from investing that you, you took the time to learn about investing, which I think you should, even if you have zero clue, buy a fucking course. You do not need a thousand crowns more than you need a thousand crowns for, like a few, you do not need more a thousand crowns for a course in investing than you need a thousand crowns for, for a McDonald's. That's how much McDonald's cost these days. Two thousand, two hundred and fifty crowns. You can get like a cheeseburger or a Big Mac venue or something. Four times you don't go to McDonald's, you can get a course in investing and know how to properly utilize your money. So, look at your expenses. This is something that I also recommend. If you're, if you're not doing it yet, also I feel like this is merging with the finance episode, so might as well just call this how to get rich by Kimmy, but whatever. If you are not doing financial audits every single month, looking at what you're spending your money on, how you're making your money, is your income higher than your expenses, you need to start doing that. Look at YouTube videos, they're literally free. Figure out how to, you know, look at that and organize your finances. It's very important. So, if, okay, so the first pillar is have an income. That is preliminary. If you don't have an income, get an income. You need an income. At some point, you're going to need an income. So, and if you start, the sooner the better. So, get an income and then watch what you do with your money. What you spend your money on, if you spend your money on anything, and then choose to invest in your education first. This is the first pillar. Before you invest in anything long-term, you need to invest in your education. So, invest in, or invest time as well, in figuring out what you should be investing. Generate income, become valuable to society, generate more income, invest that income, and then let's say that you're in your 20s, right? 20 to 25, right? You got some money, keep investing, right? But keep generating. You're still generating. Have fun, you know? You're like, you're in college, probably, or something, if you decide to go to college. If you didn't decide to go to college and you're starting your business and you're making even more money, great job, good job. If you're capable of doing that, do that. If you're not and you need more education or you want to experience the college life, because some people want to, and I think college is something, or university is something, that can give you a lot of good memories. And, you know, every person lives their life differently. But, you know, 20 to 25, make money. You need to be making money. Speaking of which, at this point also, you know, most people need some sort of support system. They're looking for somebody to keep them up. So, if you do manage to find a partner that can support you well, great job. If you don't, that's also fine. But have a support system in friends, you know? Confined in friends. Partners are great because they're there for you and you can sort of count on each other. But if you don't find that, that's fine. No need to rush. You're in your 20 to 25, you're fine. So, have good friends, though. Make sure you have friends because if you don't have any friends or any support system, you will burn out and you will not succeed in your goals because your goals will seem trivial. You'll think like, oh, what's the point of me doing all this if I have no friends? What's the point of me having a yacht when I'm 30 if, like, I have no friends to go to the yacht on or any memories to remember? So, have friends. Enjoy your 20 to 25. You are young and vital. Go on holidays. Take time off. But keep focused, right? So, you're making money, you're getting your money, you're becoming more knowledgeable. And then that just keeps going on. And then just keep investing that. And then the more you learn, the more you'll realize how to make money. Invest in financial advisors. Like, I know this sort of sounds like a plug for myself because I am becoming a financial advisor. But to be fair, if you don't have the time to take bajillions of courses as I am, I'm just genuinely interested in finance. So, it's something that, you know, interests me and it's sort of a, what's the word, a superpower I guess you could say of mine. I am very good with analytics and numbers. So, I choose to invest that time. But if you don't have that time or don't want to spend that time on learning about finances, just pay a person to do it for you. Pay a person to figure out what's the best loan you can take, what's the best investment you can take with your money. And just let it be. If they're a good enough financial advisor and you should check, make sure that they're good advisors, make sure that they have good experience, good reviews, they're at a reputable firm. Use that and just let your money work for you. Yes, it might be a slight expense at the moment, but in five years when you're like a million crowns in the plus, I think you're gonna be a lot happier. So, use that. And then, lastly, just follow your interests. So, I would make sure that whatever you're generating income from should be something that you're good at. And also realize sometimes what you're good at is not something that you like doing. If you're really good at, I don't know, let's say analytics, if you're good at programming but you really don't like it, maybe for a time you're going to have to just muscle through. If the life that you want is a life that has a lot of income early on or needs a lot of building early on, just do whatever you can to generate that income. Once you have that income, keep it going and maybe you look for alternatives if you really hate doing that job. You should never stay in a job that you hate doing because A, you're going to burn out, you're going to lose focus, and B, life is too short for you to be working at a terrible job. So, find an income or find the job that works well for you in generating income and educate yourself or pay somebody to do your finances and work with your money. Because as Robert Kiyosaki says, money makes money. You need to be able to invest money or have your money work for you because everybody's goal eventually is to be able to do whatever the fuck they want and have their money work for them. So, either educate yourself or pay somebody to do it for you and have an income. Those are literally all the pillars I can literally ever tell you about finances and goal-setting. I mean, I guess I more turned it into the finance episodes. I guess this is more of a finance episode, but let me sort of circle back to goals, right? So, goal-setting. If there's any goal that you want to achieve in life, whether that be financial, financial freedom, whether that be getting the girl of your dreams, because there are, you know, levels to reaching those goals. So, let's say that your goal is to find a wife, a lovely little wife, right? So, or a husband. So, if you're looking for a wife or a partner, you should start a, first of all, look at yourself. Always first look at yourself. Are you ready to support the woman or man of your dreams? Are you ready? Do you know how to, like if you're, I don't know, do you know how to support a person? Are you mentally capable of supporting another person? Because you should not be getting into a relationship thinking, oh they're going to pull the 60 and I'm gonna do like a 40 or they're gonna pull the 70, I'm gonna pull the 30. No! In a reputable, in a very good, stable relationship, both of you should be trying to aim for 60 and that's how you somehow end up at 120 and you're both happy. So, are you capable of giving that energy right now? Are you? Do you have the money to support? If you're, if you're conservative, do you have the money to support your wife? Do you know how to cook to support your husband? Or are, do you take care of yourself well enough? Do you, you know, do your hair make yourself look presentable? Do you not speak in a negative way? Do you know how to support and uplift a person or the person who's providing for you or whatever? Do you know how to do these things? Are you ready for a relationship? Chances are that you're not and that's the reason why you're always going into these short time, two-month, two-week relationships where you break up and then you're super sad and then it fucks up your whole situation. So, make sure that you're ready. Secondly, put yourself out there and I'm not saying on Tinder and these things. I mean, Tinder can be good. You can find people, I guess, but where would the person of your dreams be? Let's say you want to find an elegant lady who's working on herself, who doesn't fuck around, who actually does work, who knows how to do this and this and that. Would she really be on Bumble? Would she really be on Tinder posting a duck face selfie? Probably not. She would probably be at some sort of social networking event. So, go to these social networking events. So, that's a romance sort of goal but if you have, let's say, a different goal, I don't know, a health goal. So, let's say that you want to live as long as possible and you want to be very healthy and you want to have a certain physique. What does a person who has that physique look like? What is their everyday? What do they do? It's very, very easy, or not easy, it's very simple to sort of always just be the monkey. Copy what the people who have done it before are doing. So, if you see, if you think, okay, I want to have a small waist, a big ass, whatever. Look at a person who has what you want and watch what they're doing. They're going to the gym three days a week. They're not eating chocolate every night. They are walking every single day. They're drinking water. They're drinking, they're eating whole foods. They're working out. They have a specific workout routine. They have a system that garners them the results and you need to copy that system and this works for any goal in life. So, if you have a goal of being more fashionable. What does a person who is more fashionable do? They probably are interested in fashion and they probably read fashion magazines or they are in the know somehow or they educate themselves. They do something. They have a system that garners them the result. So, be the fucking monkey and copy and you will see the results. So, goal setting is a manifestation is all about set a high goal. Set exactly what you want and be unrealistic. I don't get why people are being super like detrimentative these days. They are saying, oh retirement, me never. That is so dumb. You are literally the creator of your life. There are people who went to the moon because one person just said, yeah you know what I see that moon. I want to go to that moon and then they just went to the moon. Like they put in the effort but they went to the moon or there are people these days that make more than a whole country. One singular person makes more than a whole country. I don't know Elon Musk or something. That is insane. So, if they can do that I think you are capable of getting your retirement or you know at least all like you know doing your best to get your dream girl or dream guy and whatnot. So, be unrealistic. Set the goal and then look at if it's a vague goal, a usual, not a usual goal but a vague goal, something that more people have done in their life. Look at what the people that have achieved that have done and look at their systems and just copy them. Just be the fucking monkey. And if it's a specific goal, research, research, research, research. Look into what could you do to achieve that goal, what seems logical and then just do it. It seems hard and at first it is hard. Always starting is really goddamn hard but just goddamn do it. The way the Nike said it, just goddamn do it. Make a plan and do it. And if you're struggling with motivation because that is the main, main issue of today's society, motivation because we're lost. We've got so many options and we're also just lost in general because we don't really know what we're doing or what we want. We're not lost in options. We don't know what we want. We can't choose from the options. So but at the same time we want so much. So just garner, take a second and think about what do you want actually. Make a Pinterest board, visualize, write it down. I cannot, you are statistically like 70% more likely to get something done if you write it down. So write it down, visualize it, make a plan and just do it. Just goddamn do it. There you go. Okay so this podcast has been on for 27 minutes and 14 sec, 15 seconds so far, still going. So I hope you enjoyed today's podcast episode. I hope it was in some way inspiring. If you have any questions whatsoever, if you have any questions financially, since I'm a financial advisor, feel free to ask. I will be opening up practice in April once I can legally, you know, like offer services and I will be done with my training and I'll have papers. But for now I can sort of offer amateur advice and whatnot. And I will be opening up a Instagram profile called Finanza or like finance for you, which you, which should sort of nudge some random or everyday information about finances and your personal, you know, belongings and money that could help y'all. So I hope everybody has a great day today. Follow, if you follow what I've said today in some extent or if you took any, any, you know, value from today's episode, I'd be very happy to hear about it in the comments. And I hope you all have a lovely, lovely day. And yeah, and see you in the next one. And keep me posted on any other topics that you'd love to hear about. Bye!
