Two people are upset about something, possibly a conflict with another group. The speaker suggests putting their best foot forward and not appearing hostile. They offer to have a peaceful conversation over tea instead of resorting to violence. Oh dear, is it really that bad? You just looked so heartbroken when I came in. Is there anything I can do? We're meeting the ponies of another stable for the first time. We want to put our bedstead forward and, uh, you two went first. We'd look like invaders. Well now, there's really no need for that, is there? How about we put the firearms down and have a lovely little chat? Perhaps over a spot of tea?
