The speaker watched a film called "The Killer" which is based on a graphic novel. They initially thought it was based on a book called "Killer Keller" but realized it was different. The film impressed them with its simplicity and they became emotionally invested in the main character, a nameless assassin. The film had great music and sound effects. The story follows the assassin's experiences and skills, creating tension and drama. The speaker wishes they had seen it in a theater and highly recommends it. The Killer Review by Hideous Kojiman I watched Fincher's new film, The Killer. Is it based on Lawrence Block's Killer Keller? I thought so, but it was a graphic novel. The OP, a collage of killing techniques, was surprisingly simple, and I thought, isn't that Mr. Kyle? At first I was a bit disappointed, but I was drawn in from the very beginning of the film. I was emotionally involved with Fassbender, the nameless assassin without a name and without dialogue. The Smiths' famous music played all over the place. As usual, Renoir's sound effects were superb. The film begins with a monologue about the wait for the assassination, the failure, the escape, and the counterattack. The film moves from Paris to Dominica to North America, showcasing the assassin's know-how, lessons learned, and details. While maintaining tension, the ups and downs of the story are as dramatic as the classics that morph from the opening to the closing chapters. This will be a strong IP. Will it become a series? I wish I'd seen it in a movie theater. Highly recommended. Big thumb up. Just one minute. Task. Just. Definitely. Don't rush. Tune. Puns. Wow. Mind of cows. Trust me. Let's ski. See. And yes. Rush.
