Chevrolet will revamp the Equinox in 2025, giving it a new style and major interior overhaul. It will have two digital screens, a revised engine, and a CVT or automatic transmission. The 2025 Equinox will compete with other top models in its segment. The price range for the Equinox is $31,080 to $35,480, and the recommended trims are Active or RS. The performance may not be the best in its class. The interior is spacious and modern with ample storage. It has a large infotainment display and digital gauge cluster. Safety features include adaptive cruise control and optional extras like traffic sign recognition. Chevy's warranty package is minimal but includes one complimentary dealer maintenance visit. Overview of the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox. In 2025, Chevrolet will revamp the Equinox, which will have a rough new style that will make it resemble a smaller Traverse. Along with the dramatic redesign of the center console and the daringly styled new dashboard flanked by two enormous circular air vents, the interior also undergoes a major overhaul. Two new digital screens take center stage. An 11.3-inch screen that provides access to the Equinox's Google-based infotainment system and an 11.0-inch gauge display located behind the steering wheel, a revised 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and a continuously variable automatic gearbox, CVT, power the squared-off bonnet of the Equinox. Equinoxes with the optional all-wheel drive system replace the CVT with a conventional eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard. Soon to debut, the new Equinox will take on the segment's best models, including the revamped, elegant, and 10 Best award-winning ones. What is 2025 bringing? By the end of 2024, Chevy dealerships should be carrying the Equinox, which will go into its fourth generation for the 2025 model year. Cost and selection of items for purchase Depending on the model and extras, the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox may cost anywhere from $31.080 to $35.480. The LT, RS, and Active are the three different models in the Equinox series. We would advise switching to the Active or RS trim. It's up to you whether you want the Active's more rough appearance or the RS's street-going style. Both have the same starting price. In any case, you will receive more equipment, distinctive wheel designs, and the option of an external two-tone color scheme. Performance, Engine, and Transmission Every Equinox has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 175 horsepower under the hood. When choosing all-wheel drive over front-wheel drive, the turbo is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. In front-wheel drive vehicles, this is a continuously variable automatic transmission, CVT. Although we haven't had a chance to test drive the new Equinox, we predict that it won't have the greatest performance in its class. As a point of comparison, the 2023 model of the Equinox with all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission took 8.0 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour in our previous test. We'll update this post with our driving impressions and test findings as soon as we have an opportunity to test drive the latest version. Cargo, Comfort, and Interior The cabin of the Equinox is spacious enough for adults and has ample storage for freight, including room for big shopping bags or baggage. The interior design is clean and modern, with eye-catching materials and a well-balanced mix of analog and digital controls. While imitation leather is an available addition to the regular cloth upholstery, the top-spec Active Trim blends microfiber and vinyl for a more upmarket appearance and feel. More room for storage is created in the center console by a shift lever that is positioned in a column. There are also two cup holders, an optional wireless smartphone charger, and an infotainment system controller located there. Connectivity and Entertainment The dashboard of every Equinox model has two large digital monitors. Perched in the middle of the dashboard and tilted slightly in the direction of the driver is an 11.3-inch infotainment display. Chevy's most recent Google-based infotainment system, which includes access to a Wi-Fi connection and Google Maps navigation, is projected onto it. A distinct 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster with reconfiguration possibilities sits directly in front of the driver, allowing you to tailor it to your tastes. Features for Safety and Driver Assistance On the 2025 Equinox, Chevrolet provides a wide range of standard driver assistance technologies, including cutting-edge technology like adaptive cruise control with lane-centering capability. Optional extras include traffic sign recognition, rear pedestrian detection, and a 360-degree video system. Visit the websites of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for further details on the Equinox's crash test results. Important safety characteristics consist of typical automatic emergency braking that detects pedestrians, normal lane departure alert with assistance for lane keeping, normal adaptive cruise control equipped with lane-centering functionality, coverage for maintenance and warranty. Simply put, Chevy's base warranty package is minimal, but so is the coverage offered by its rivals. On the other hand, the Amt provide more noticeable and extended protection policies. Within the first year of ownership, Chevy does offer one complimentary dealer maintenance visit, which is a pleasant bonus. A limited warranty is valid for 36 months or 36,000 miles. A powertrain warranty is valid for 60,000 miles or 5 years. Free maintenance is included on the initial visit.
