The second part of the information discusses how authors express themselves through their characters. Frodo represents the spirit of Tolkien and expresses his thoughts to resolve conflicts in the story. Edgar Allan Poe expresses himself through his main characters, one representing his perspective and the other representing how others perceive him. In the third document, K.I. Wadeley uses Napoleon as a symbol of black power. Overall, the authors use their characters to convey their own ideas and messages. So, in the second part, we will see how the author can express themselves thanks to the character, and we focus on the first extract. Frodo is the reflection of the Tolkien spirit, and in this extract, Frodo expresses himself as Tolkien can express himself, and as I said, he sees the futurist members of the community of the Ring fight against each other, and he decides to express himself to broke this fight, and it's the way that Tolkien expresses himself. Secondly, we will focus on the extracts from the book of Edgar Allan Poe, and in this text, we can understand that Edgar Allan Poe expresses himself through the two main characters. The main character is approximately, I think, the point of view of Edgar Allan Poe. He is always considered as a mad person, and the main character who is scared by the oath of Usher is, I think, the reflection of the people who see Edgar Allan Poe as a mad person. So the second main character, Usher, is, I think, the representation of Edgar Allan Poe in the world around him. So Edgar Allan Poe expresses himself and shows how people and he sees the world. Then, what about the third document? So, in this document, K.I. Wadeley decides to choose the Napoleon figure to represent the black power, and why he chooses to use Napoleon? Because it's a strong figure, and he wants to express himself using this figure to show the black power, like I said. So, in these three documents, we see that the author uses the personages to express themselves and maybe show something.
