Make sure y'all are definitely staying involved because sometimes, like I always say, it's not what you know. It's who you know. You may never know who you may meet at one of these clubs and events. And always, when you go to these club events, bring a pen or paper or just take notes on your phone, tablet, iPad, anything. Take notes because when you take notes, it shows that, oh, you're showing the speaker, oh, that they're interested. They're listening. They're engaged. So always remember to take notes. Show that you're participating and show that the people is not up there talking, wasting their time. Engage. This is community engagement. I'm all for it. Engage with the people. Now, we'll talk a little bit more after break. Stay tuned because community engagement is very important in getting out and being involved. Stay tuned with talks with Kira, events, and news. We will be back. Hello. You're listening to WCCU Radio, Coastal Carolina University Student Radio Station. I am your host, Kira Greene, and we are back. We are back. Let's turn into some more events, shall we? Let's look for some more events. Okay. Let's see. Now, before the break, I spoke about how it's very important to go out and be involved. You may be shy. You may be nervous. You may be worried about what other people think about you, or you may just only want to be seen. But I'm telling you, going out and really just having fun, meeting new people, it also opens doors for you. It opens doors because community engagement is very important. We don't speak a lot about that in college, but it's really important. I remember as a freshman, I would just always think, why do we have to go out to these events? Why do we have to go out to do all these things for a grade? Because back then, well, they probably still have it going on, but it used to be called community engagement. It was a project we had to do. And I was just saying, this is stupid. This is pointless. I'm never going to go to the financial aid building. I'm never going to go to student accounts. And was I tripping? Like, for real, you're going to need those things. You're going to need to know where things are at. You're going to have to know your resources and where to find things, who to talk to in case of emergency, who to talk to in order to join this club, group, organization. You're going to know who to talk to. It's not what you know. It's who you know. Go out. Meet new people. Do what you got to do to get through, okay, because this is important. Now, I'm going to share a few more events, and then I'm going to close off. But remember to just always remember community engagement is what's important. Now, World in Faith Harmony Week. What do you believe now? That would be Monday, February 12th at 5.30 p.m. Located at the Live Jackson Student Union Theater, okay? So go out. Be engaged. Meet new people. Talk and communicate.
