Hey, everybody, how you doing? Let me adjust this microphone right quick Hold on is this better Sorry, we have some technical issues in the studio right now, let's see That's about right. There we go. Oh now and Let's see There we go. That'll do it So how y'all doing today? Of course, this is pop culture power starring your very own DJ busy B That's me Brandon Houser. And so let's get into a few little headlines today. So Our first headline of the day fans are taking issue with a statue made for Alice Allen Iverson the famous former 76ers NBA player He got a statue outside the 76ers practice facility And um, I think it's only in the video AI you really appreciate the statue He liked it a lot, but a lot of his fans, uh, you know took issue with it saying that the statue was on too small and stature Too small in size, I guess and I think a little bit of that is due to I guess misinformation a lot of people not seeing it in context because a lot of the 76er statues I've heard are on they tend to make smaller statues to be indoors like will Chamberlain Julie's Irving Charles Barkley all have statues around the same size that AI statue is but Because honestly when you look at the statue in the video, it looks more like a trophy than a statue But either way, you know, I'm happy he's happy with it Shout out to AI one of the I mean One of the greatest basketball players of all time one of the most influential of all time you can say at least and yeah Thanks our second a second headline here. OJ Simpson passed away yesterday. Um I'll be nice today because a lot of other people weren't He passed away a lot of people have feelings on it That's about what that's about what I'll say on that Margot Robbie is making a Monopoly movie. I Don't know how that's gonna work. But then the United I didn't know how Barbie Well, I had an idea of how Barbie movie would work. I don't I didn't know how Lego movie would work and we got that so Monopoly movie that's gonna be cool. I Might be owned by the same company as Barbie. I think I don't know but Again we'll see if it works out and our last headline of the day Travis and Jason Kelsey got diplomas from the University of Cincinnati. I think Travis got a diploma in marketing, which is you know, that's cool it's a I'm gonna live to useful degree. It's not useful for him. He's already a multi-millionaire. But yeah Well So give me a minute. They handle all of the hygiene going on today, and we'll be right back. Hello. Hello. Hello Oh my gosh, I think the echo is back the voices I can hear the voices. Let's try this Hello that seems to be like Slightly better. I hope I can't really tell because I am looking at basically squiggly blue lines and I'm not Let's move on Anyways, so The first thing I want to talk about today is really um, so one of the things that Eric who you know comes on the show sometimes one of the things he makes one of me for is the fact that I have a lot of Like games movies TV shows that like I've started but haven't finished Look, man. I'm like a dog chasing cars You know I'm saying I see one shiny car Then I chase the next one and the next one and I intend to follow the car all the way through But sometimes I don't I mean But I was having said there's a whole bunch of things on my Netflix list I you know put on my list but haven't gotten around to either watching or finishing yet and I don't figure it'd be kind of cool to look at some of this stuff here and see why I clicked on it or try To remember why I clicked on it and I wanted to attempt to watch it. So let's see here Let me pull up that good old list All right So let's see first thing on here The anti social network means the mayhem. This is something I guess a documentary on Netflix I Guess about memes and how sometimes they can cause I guess trouble or chaos for people. Oh Okay, no, I'm looking at the description Yeah This is more so a documentary about how I guess you know all the good things and bad things that the internet can cause Whether it be memes conspiracy theories of cyberbullying things like that, you know Let's see the next one here trouble. I mean together trouble winners Trouble winners, this is a documentary about the football team or the soccer team, Manchester United or Manchester City rather and I'm really into soccer I've been really getting into I guess soccer lately and just I'm interested in the culture of it and the games and um, oh by the way, I also have I even dedicated myself to a team and as Of I guess two weeks ago. I said, you know what? I'm an Arsenal fan. Now. I like the team. I mean like some of the players. I like the name You know, I like all that stuff so yeah see here this echoing thing is getting on my nerves Let's see here. I Think we'll try that but anyways, so yeah, when comes to soccer big fan of that and I figure you know, Manchester United is one of the most popular teams. I think really in the United Kingdom So I figured I'd try it out one piece film red. This is another one This is another one, um, it's an anime movie for other show one piece I hear it's a musical too Which I guess is an interesting kind of concept. I don't Musical anime isn't something I guess I've really heard about there often. So that's I guess that's why I check that out. You've got mail This is a rom-com Starring I think Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan or it takes you know, it of course is made in the 90s where I guess they They fall in love online Which I guess I was interested in the whole, you know, um a movie that deals with I guess the 90s internet Just that whole concepts cool to me What else Oh Tom Hanks is likeable person, you know, I like 90s movies. I'm not a big rom-com person I figured hey, maybe we'll see this is funny. So, you know, I decided to give that a shot I thought 20 minutes of it, but I think um, I didn't finish because at the time I had to go to class. So Who knows this one I might actually finish, you know, so we'll see on that one. Let's see here next to do Means I'm skipping over cuz it is interesting to talk about Another small one Ralph Barbosa cowabunga. It's a stand-up comedy special Netflix They've been killing the stand-up comedy game lately. Oh like they've had a lot of pretty good stand-up comedians I'm not a I don't like Dave Chappelle's new stuff anymore But I'm like, you know Dave Barbosa Ralph Barbosa. He's a special is pretty good Gabriel, I forget how to pronounce his name Gabriel Fluffy, you know, I'm better fluffy Gabriel. I think it's he glasses his uh His to his band is pretty good. Theo Vaughn is hilarious because you don't know what that guy's gonna say next He's just such an unpredictable person. I Can't say something like not cuz I can't say some of the stuff You said on his podcast not because like it's getting like that cuz they're swearing in it I mean some of it's inappropriate, but it's just It's a weird stuff he says out of context man, it's great I'm not a lot of documentaries here. I have another documentary on Tony Parker, I guess on my Netflix list, too I just like I'm just I think you know, my family can attest to this I'm a documentary addict, you know, Sam if you got a pretty good documentary I'm like, I don't know like a cultural phenomenon type thing or I Would I've watched the entire document is just I'm like, oh, yeah, this is all the things that happened in 1996 you know I'm saying I just love documentaries like that. There's no one here I have about Tony Parker the French NBA player. I wanted the crack cocaine epidemic So many documents, I think half of this list of documentaries. Let me show you some non documentaries. I've been into This is close to a documentary. I mean, it's it's like a documentary only it's not true. It's a reality show College Hill celebrity edition So this is on Netflix, too. I mean I said I'm not I said I've mentioned before I don't like reality shows that much there's a special feel out there that kind of intrigued me and this is one of them I mean seeing these celebrities these big figures attempt to go to a college That's yeah, that's not like an interesting concept. I guess I Think I'll see here are the stars in this one because I never had a look at that Let's see here. We got Nene leaks Lamar Odom Rage a dream doll. I know I know most of those people are super dream doll. Okay, big Frida. I've heard of her before Slim thug, I know something is in the love. I know her Stacy dash. Yep Let me at take this off the list Stacy dash irritates me. So yeah, that's that's nope not watching that but what else we got here Let's see. Oh bad education in addition to a lot of documentaries I'll have a lot of foreign movies a lot of non-english movies in here just because I'm fascinated by uh, you know There's things that are outside of America the bad education. This is a movie. Let's see The synopsis is this in honor of their final night in high school Three teenagers decide to play a devious game that quickly descends into chaos This movie is from I think Taiwan. Yep, Taiwanese. So You know, that's I'm like an interesting kind of action thriller type thing. So Into that. Um, I wasn't on the list. I figure I mentioned anyway, just show you how you know widespread of a person I am I'm the only person I know who watches anime Documentaries Grey's Anatomy, you know kids movies. I watch a little bit of everything on Netflix, man Let's see here. What else I got a bunch of one-piece stuff more of that. Oh This is a kdrama, which I don't know what it is about Korean dramas, bro, but In Korea, they're doing these dramas like excellently like there was a drama on Netflix called the glory Which is about this. Um, this was about this girl who was bullied in high school these bullies. They ruined her life And so, you know the victim the kid I forget her name But um, she basically dedicates her life to getting revenge and it's it is like One of my favorite shows I've seen on Netflix It's one of my favorite is great. You gotta watch it. It's called the glory Now listen, this show is celebrity here. It's also a Korean drama The synopsis here. She was never a fan of social media. Now. She's the reigning queen of Instagram. We'll see. Oh See, oh a reed be able to survive the cut their world of influencers So I've always felt like influences price. They're probably on the inside shady people I'm sure they introduce holes, you know, just like cut photos like, you know music or whatever So that seems like a pretty cool thing to watch to me Once we got here Emergency, New York, that's about basically, um what the medical workers were going through during the pandemic because I know I mean, I think You know, a lot of people are happy to not talk about the pandemic anymore. I still find it a very fascinating time It was like, you know Just because I mean the fact we were like all indoors Like 24 hours a day not because we wanted to Like some of my fellow introverts not because we had to you know, that joint was crazy. And in fact, I mean I'm just saying like whenever you know, I'm saying like 20 years from now when they make documentaries I'm like, oh, where are they now from the pandemic? I want to be part of that documentary You know Sam so in a way, I guess this is studying so like where's what's the best response to have top boy? Top boy. This is a another show on my list. This is a British UK kind of drama About drug dealing and they're kind of whole crime underworld because you know, I Guess the best way to think about it's like if you ever heard of the show snowfall it's like a British version of that at least what I've heard, you know, I'm saying and I thought we always hear about like it's like, you know shows about crime or quote-unquote hood dramas hood movies. I mean Thanks. I've always seen that from the American side. So I think to me cool to see that from the UK side Veteran, this is a movie. I've already seen I put on my list to rewatch it veteran It's a Korean movie about this cop who basically this cop has to catch this spoiled rich kid in Korea this board rich kid who runs, you know, he runs a legitimate corporation and he runs like a criminal syndicate as well It's a great movie. It's funny a lot of great action. It's you got a veteran. You got to see it, bro That's a good movie Let's see. You're almost out of time. And I guess the last one I will mention on my list is My happy marriage, it's an anime about a girl in an arranged marriage in like I guess ancient Japan or whatever on Simple kind of romance concept. I thought hey, give it a shot. So yeah, also new Amsterdam another hospital drama, man Yeah, you know a lot of stuff. I'm gonna lots of Netflix. I have to watch I'll get to it at some point, you know at some point in the next century or so We'll be right back y'all Was good everybody so for our next pop culture segment I wanted to talk about Pluto TV, so I've mentioned like free TV services before, you know I mean in the streaming era, of course makes sense to me some free ones I think right now probably the most popular free streaming channel It's gonna be to me which um, I don't got an infamous for like a lot of its low-budget, you know indie films But I mean besides that there's also just lots of the interesting content That you really won't find anywhere else like a lot of like different license shows. I just like never heard of before but um Today one folks on Pluto because I think it's just an interesting concept as a chance. I mean as a service. That's like It's basically kind of like your regular on cable service except you know There's also a streaming element to it. It's basically like free cable almost and So I just want to talk about all my different channels they have and like some of my favorite ones, right? So, you know, I mean They do channels kind of differently. I guess than your average cable service. This is why I struggled to call it free cable like I'll say for example, um Some of the channels are pretty normal like you have channels like the classic TV comedy channel, which guess what? It has old TV shows, you know that are comedies You have your Nick jr. Pluto TV, which has all I guess the um It's like a basically a live stream of all the Nick jr. Shows they have running What else they got the action, you know, the action movie channels the drama movie channel the romance crime movies all that's good stuff Actually one of the movie channels I like the 2000s channel a lot just cuz I'm I like that era of like movies 2000s and 90s and also to flicks of fury is great, too I mean because a good martial arts movie is just you know, I guess middle of the afternoon You don't have nothing to do a good martial arts movies. It spices up your day a little bit Like I'll never forget watching this Jackie Chan movie police story, I think I watched it on Pluto it was so good is um Daddy, he's just the king of like action comedy, you know, I'm like, I guess goofy kind of comedy with also action to it and I'll never forget there was this one stunt. He did or it's like he dropped kick somebody through a car windshield and Just to this day my mind is like yo, how did he do this and live? No, I mean, how did you Jackie Chan? but Besides that um, there are also some channels to about like 24 hour live streams of one show for example, they have while now a while now channel, which you know, it only shows while now they have a See fail army channel, which only shows fail army videos that you can also find on YouTube They have the Andy Griffith show channel, which I said only shows Andy Griffith same thing for me for the Adams family happy days Family ties love vote all that's good stuff Um, what else they got Let me talk about the channels. I like now that you got an idea of what they do channels. I like so see There's a multiple category. I guess for the movie channel already mentioned on the 90s and 2000s channel as well as the the Flicks of theory, which is they're like martial arts movie channel right now. They're showing young I guess This actually okay. They're showing apparently they I guess they show TV shows and some of this stuff, too Because they're showing young it man right now it man who doesn't for those who don't know that was a Bruce Lee's teacher Under comedy, let's see the comedy section TV land sitcoms is pretty cool. Does it you know me? I'm a sucker for sitcoms You know I'm saying I will drop everything to watch an episode of militia Or Sabrina the teenage witch which we got showing right now. Oh Black throwbacks know my love to a lot of um, I guess black led sitcoms. I love just like That's the morning middle of the day, let me turn off the militia. I just love that he's reliable like that, bro. Oh comedy central animation is a good one to That was good because they should I mean they show lots of beefs and butthead and I'll have paramount plus So it's just good to watch random episodes of beefs and butthead. You know, that's really fun um I'll be real. I love wild now. I'm in high school middle school I don't hate it now, but I haven't seen an episode of it in a while So, yeah, maybe I'd have to check out the newer stuff cuz I'm one of those wild not comedians I'm for those on a while now is basically it's like It's basically it's almost like an improv game show that has like raps in it, too And a lot of those comedians are just really funny guys. You can you don't think on their feet my favorite community on there I mean they have um, a lot of the guys I've noticed to her tend to be popular through social media Like they have guys like, um This one guy scar on his face Because people ugly is like his like signature Trademark, I can't think of his name right now. Do you see young fly? That's his name DC and fly is I think a regular guest star Chico bean Carlos Miller's another funny guy on there. What's the other guy? This is he's a Facebook comedians, I can't remember his name quite as well either Country Wayne, I think appears in a few episodes, you know, that's great stuff Let's see, what else they got they have a stand-up chat, I don't watch the stand-up channel as much but um I'm sure there's good stuff there, too Now, what's the other one? I want to say does he move on to classic TV? This is what I love Lucy just like the simplicity of it. I like that too. You know, it's really old. I still enjoy it Now what was Oh shout TV is cool because not necessarily for like I guess the old TV shows Well, that's what the Americans of this show because I want to show this this is my show like old episodes from Super Sentai, which is like the original Power Rangers show before it went to America See what else they got classic TV. They got sci-fi There's like I think four different starch. No There are three different Star Trek channels. There's the you know, Star Trek There's the first Star Trek channel, which I think just shows like the OG Star Trek and I think the next generation There's more Star Trek which was I guess other stuff and then there's Star Trek deep space 9 Which shows that show crazy stuff. Let's see here. Oh Toku shout to which shows a lot of old Japanese shows. It's really cool to see the CSI channels. Um, I Love CSI a lot, but I'm not gonna lie. I Don't know which I like better CSI are in order Cuz Well on order SUV bro. I love that show a lot. I'm saying a shout-out to Olivia Benson. That's not the real person's name It's the character name but yo, like whatever's going on, I don't detective Benson and uh, I Don't take the best of her partner. They got it, bro Whatever is happening. They got it. Will they always follow the law to get it? No, they won't I'm saying I'm staying on her partner in the show. I forget his name, too He was off the show for a little while, uh I'm sure that he was bit. I'm sure think the name Benson and detective I'm gonna say it starts with M. I Hate it when I'm live on the air and I'm just stuck. I Hate that Hey, cuz I should know this cuz I've seen like a million episodes of law and order SVU Let's see here Dude dude, come on. He's from the top of the casting list, even though he hasn't been in a while. He's like iconic character Whatever but anyways, what's gonna say is that that that guy that character he's always like It seems like he's not gonna lie breaking the law a lot Like there's one episode where he got like a preacher to confess to a crime in his church Like he got him to do that, which I'm like, you know that that can't be legal. Sorry like that They have to be violating some constitution some bill of right and I have that can't be Walking up. So I said I'd say this You know in terms of like being realistic to all the detective stabler That's the kid doesn't you know, but in terms of like being what's the word? Accurate to what you know, the law is you know, that shows very inaccurate, but it's entertaining to watch a lot of good mysteries I'll say that There wasn't sense of comedy was they got let's see here or no. I'm off comedy now drama. We're at drama. So see Oh Elementary, that's another cool one. This is they have a show called a they have a channel called crime drama which is just you know for all the crime dramas they own the rights to Elementary is a cool one because I mean it's like a modern retelling of Sherlock Holmes, which is great Let's see, I'm sure they don't have NC double-s because I feel like Just that's that's the show that you know It's perfect for this kind of service like that's on a kid. I remember there's a point in time My parents like every time I you know If I had left the house for a while and I came back into the house I think I could like I could rely on yet NC NC is was on you know That was that was what they were watching on TV at the time. It's like, you know, the word name sports on It's out to my parents chat up to them to listen to the show right now But uh, see Oh the true crime channel Again, I don't watch too much of the true crime channel I'm trying to think but I do what oh every now and again I do like to watch unsolved mysteries and kind of the 80s aesthetic. They got the reality channel. I watch that sometimes, too See, what was it? Rescue 9-1-1 is an interesting one where it's like they reenact 9-1-1 calls Some of the stuff seems like super fake. I mean, but it's like it's fake but It's like what didn't know said in that one movie. It's 90% BS, but it entertains me I mean kind of like Maury or Jerry Springer all those like, you know, those um judge courtroom shows There's also those surprises like a whole competitive reality show thing to not my thing But I will say there was one interesting thing that did for a while like when big brother was on They had a 24-hour live stream on Pluto of like I guess each room in the house Cuz big brothers like this I think this thing were um a bunch of people are living in a house and um I guess they get voted off on my one and they had like a live stream of I guess the house It's kind of cool to see the entertainment section Let's see right now. They got BET are we there yet? I guess it's the TV show version. Yeah BET heard Gucci Mane and Keisha. No, thank you. I On I forgot I had like just legit the I on channel you can get the MTV channel I think every now and again they show cribs and that is when I watch MTV Pluto Let's see. Oh, I do you know, it's like it's a cool gameplay to watch like, you know, it's good background noise Game shows. Oh, no the game shows. I love some game shows to like supermarket sweep is just fun to watch That's when the watch um My brother used to be my brother Jackson shot him too. He used to be a big Jeopardy he's the love watching Jeopardy and I think Wheel of Fortune and On Family Feud me personally. I just like Family Feud and Steve Harvey and I don't you like to make fun of him Oh goodness. I've been talking throughout. Um Sorry radio people So for everybody watching the recording of this We do this show simultaneously with the radio and I've been talking through The show Without actually paying attention to the radio my bad. Sorry so we're gonna end this segment right here and uh for our last segment, we'll be talking about The book fair and those kind of just general library and reading memories. So stick around. We'll be right back Hello everybody, so from our radio listeners for that last segment apparently I am Went on too long. I was a yammering on too long about my favorite Pluto TV stuff I guess I am so I knew I liked Pluto TV I didn't know that I would like it so much to the point like I was just like subconsciously tune out to the world Well, I apologize about that. So, um, I went a little off time there But I guess the whole way if you couldn't hear me through the song to wrap that up It's a lot of great things. I think comedy central animation is probably one of my favorite channels. There's a lot of beefs and butthead and Daria episodes there. I like so that's good And yeah, so moving on that was embarrassing man, but moving on Let's talk about what we got here. Oh Yes, next we're talking about book fairs and just general memories of reading, you know books as a kid So I don't really think about this today, but the book fair is just like a really, you know, great day to be a kid Well, it's a good day to be a kid get money for it, but um So I forget you those who didn't like I guess do that growing up Basically the book fair would be like, you know Every now and again your library be converted into like a place where you could buy books as a kid And I guess like it'll be more of course it means books are more special than you know books they could actually keep and In it, you know, and it's weird I remember like when I think about the book fairs a kid I think all the cool books I could buy like, um, you know Every I had to get the new diary would be kid. I had to get that You know I'm saying I had to um, at least a little glance at like, um, the Guinness World Record books Those were pretty cool. They those are some stuff they sold and Guinness World Record a gaming edition I think I have like two copies of those. I just I love buying that too as a kid cuz you know, I'm big video game nerd um All sorts of stuff man There's also like a section for like, you know But um, I guess the more I just could say advanced books like your Harry Potter's your Percy Jackson's Like big long fantasy books those were always, you know made available to but it's funny I you know when I think about the book fair, I think of all the books No, I'm saying a lot of people think about the book. I think oh my gosh You know giving like a poster or a little finger like the there used to be this little finger pointer Finger pointer that like the teachers could you know, they used to use as well There's that although I will like it's a little knickknacks and stuff. You would find there to Little like fun erasers like the money like the dollar flag eraser And you know I'm saying so Yeah, such a good time of year. Oh, but I know they still do it to this day I don't I think the book fair is I want to say elementary school and maybe middle school I don't think they don't do it in high school, which is sad because you know It's a good way to encourage kids to read. But um, I Don't know I thought about this I thought about a new story of I think happened I think a couple months ago where um Allegedly so elastic was like keeping some books made by Creators of color or creative like minorities in like a special opt-out section so that you know if you're a school and I guess You know you're um You know, you're all scared and whiny about that whole I guess this, you know Culture war will crap then you could uh, you know opt out of that Um, I guess those books which is we're just um, it's weird to deny kids, you know books to read but hey I don't run a school but anyways You know, so the book fair normally is run by the company's elastic, which is a publishing company for I want to say They're publishing they normally publish like kids books. They might do adult books, but I'm not sure about that part I'm looking at the website here, which I didn't know they had a website. That's cool. Oh my gosh dog, man and Captain Underpants. Oh The creator of Captain Underpants, you remember those books creative series now called dog, man, but those books are great And they come with a little catalog to oh my god. I'm sorry. I just went on the website I'm just getting so much like nostalgia Because I mean like it it you know, I mean different books, of course No one's I grew up with but it generally it looks like you know, the um It looks like the The same format same stuff we kind of grew up with See, what else we got here? Of course Lego books were always there too because kids love Legos All the Lego Star Wars content and just all about it in general. I'm rather down to even like when I was in elementary school I don't think I even saw I haven't seen a Star Wars movie. I played the Lego games I think it and so it's all worse But you know that friend of the good job marketing itself to people of all like, you know times and ages I see here Just a little reference books as well They'd have a lot of unlike atlases or the almanac. That's another cool one to the kids almanac Yeah, I'll stand on this to this day The kids almanac is better than the one for adults Cuz the kids almanac like full of colors and pages and lots of great pictures the one for adults is all great You know, it's just black and white plain text, you know, very boring But no, I'm gonna close on those really just like it's a book full of general information general like record for that day Like I mean, I do have an old almanac It just actually is pretty fun to read like I think I'm for the year 2020. You can read things like, um You read things about countries and read things about like what's the highest selling? This what's like the most top rated show or the most top rated television program take a wild guess what that was for? 2000 Now take a guess why I guess what it was last year You're wrong Super Bowl, I Think it's been the Super Bowl. Just like every I think for the last 10 years, you know, but Yeah, you got that going on man, um I'm looking another catalog here. Apparently John Cena has a book out. I guess he wrote a book called a elbow grease about a monster truck. I Mean if you're making a kid's book a monster trucks are like a good, you know kids like monsters truck. That's a good what's the word? That's a good Concept good topic Yeah, I don't know if I'm any other company did these book fairs I remember it's elastic always did the one I went to but I think other Schools might I think other companies might have tried it too. I don't know about that. Maybe we'll talk about that another time But in addition to the book fairs, I guess that kind of takes me down the whole I guess thought process I'm just remembering all of like different books I read as a kid all those different series because we get that so if you think about it like Books aren't as big as they used to be man. I mean, I don't know people still do read books, but it's like It's been a while since there's been a book that like everybody was talking about because of the book now It's has an adaptation of it. You know, I mean The last time I remember like the whole world was talking about a book was probably I guess. Um, 50 shades of grave, which is you know They're very that's a very adult not kid like at all But I guess the last I guess book that like kids could read that I remember um people talking about worldwide, I Guess was the Hunger Games And that book came and that series came out like 10 years ago. You know, I mean, it's been a minute. I guess it's my point But I just I mean some of the stuff I grew up reading, um, Geronimo Stilton was a cool one Geronimo Stilton was like a mouse who got into all these like crazy little adventures Geronimo Stilton was like a mouse who got into all these like crazy little adventures He's this mouse like book writer. I kind of the urge to read like a newer one man Just like you know to see um, if they're still pretty good I imagine they are since he's the same writer, but it has to put the different generations of why maybe but point is Diary kid, you know, it was like it's basically, you know, it looks like the kids It looks like a kid's, you know diary kids journal and you talk about Greg Hefley and his family and all these like I guess funny things he goes through and Of course, they were turned into a meal those movies Those movies were good. I love those movies to as a kid. I was obsessed Well, we got to keep it. Of course guy member not just the books. Yeah, it's never as good as the book or so I've been told What else did I read back in the day man, I was in addition to like I guess a lot of fiction I used to read like, you know Like for them in that like in the library the questions like a my library grown-up Lake Carolina elementary shout out to that school I'm saying in South Carolina, I Used to love reading like the Biographies of people right like it was a celebrity. I mean when I say read for fun, I guess yeah, I mean not just read for fun and not just you know, because um, Obviously it's an extra skill, you know but as well just I Think I'm selfish like that's kind of what I want to give you like the next generation still like talk about like their favorite book series they've read and you know, they have those on Just those things they enjoyed reading man. There's something about it special, dude You know like when I say read to I'm on top I mean I know they're like some you know What's the word snoopy people out there? It's great It's good for your brain and it's fun, dude, you know because I was thinking about this too the other day the fact I mean, well, I mentioned I guess I mentioned it for the last segment, but It's I don't I don't hear about like books that often and people talk about all man obsessed with this new book It don't be wrong just because I haven't heard about it doesn't mean it doesn't happen We got to keep that in mind, you know, like just because just because that's our perception doesn't really make it reality but um, I Try to look up like what are the highest-selling books of the year? I'm not a whole bunch of like New York Times bestsellers, but I don't think those are necessarily, you know, I don't know if those are they said the Okay, I guess they are the best-selling books in the United States some of the ones I guess I found among fiction, you know Stephen King has a novel called Holly. I guess it's a crime drama. Um Colleen Hoover has a few books on that. Yeah, the most it starts with us. I think it's on here multiple times I've heard from tick-tock guys. There's some people who has I take issue with their writing, but you know, I Don't know. They could lock crazy from that and here's the nonfiction Michelle Obama's I guess her book did really well page boy by Elliot page Let's see, uh, I guess beyond the story which is a I guess autobiography from BTS.
