Do you ever wonder how ordinary people are turning YouTube shorts into a full-time income? You heard that right. You heard that right. All these channels are making hundreds or even thousands of dollars a day. All these channels are making hundreds or even thousands of dollars a day from just shorts. In all, I've studied over a hundred creators who have made serious income from shorts, and in this video, I'll teach you what strategies they use and what works for them. Stick around to the end of the video where I teach you guys the secret hacks most creators use to make all this money. All you need is a device and an idea, and that's what brings us to our first topic. Are there specific trends or topics that tend to perform better in YouTube shorts? That's a good question, and the answer I can give you is yes. If you pick the right niche, your shorts can go from getting ten views to hundreds of thousands. But you can't go anywhere with shorts if you neglect this step. An interesting topic is the basis of every viral short out there. Once you pick your niche, you want to watch hundreds of shorts in that specific topic. Ask yourself these questions. What does my audience want to see? What type of videos are already performing well? A few topics I can give out of the blue are the Wholesome Hope Core video niche, Celebrity Gossip niche, and similar topics like that. Something that also works is to simplify niches other people are doing that are working for them and making shorts in that niche. It pains me to see how many new creators make the same mistakes that are making them miss out on so much money. So this step is really important. So what are the biggest mistakes creators make when trying to go viral with their shorts? Tell me, what's wrong with this video? If you said nothing, you're right, but also wrong. You see, the topic itself isn't bad and the audience probably stayed for a bit, but the shorts still didn't perform well because the creator made a huge mistake that you might be making without even realizing. Let's pretend we're the audience. The video idea got introduced to us in the beginning, that being how MrBeast became successful. So we stayed to find out what it was, but it was only 5 seconds later when we already got what we came for, he revealed how he became successful, and we ended up scrolling off the video. The mistake this creator made was paying off the topic too quickly, ideally the secret should have been revealed at the end, that way the audience would have to keep watching to find out. That way the audience would have to keep watching to find it out. In other words, the delivery and execution of the topic are equally as important as the idea. After you find the video you want to use, there's a simple 3 step method to use in order to make quality shorts. You have to add a voiceover, just a disclaimer, I'll be using CapCut on mobile since this is probably the easiest editing tool to use and access for everyone. Insert the video, and make sure to have something in mind on what you want to say for your video. We'll be using the video we just saw for an example. Once you add your voiceover, you want to find a good background song to add. Make sure it's not copyrighted, and you can easily find songs on YouTube for this step. Once you have found your song, add it to the video and adjust the volume to your liking. Then my favorite step, the subtitles. This is probably the easiest step, but it really does make a difference on the quality of your video. Go to the captions tab, and add the one that you like the most. Go to the captions tab, and add the subtitles you like the most. Once you've done that, you've basically completed your short. And that takes me to my next point. More people are limiting their views just because of when they post. Now I'm not talking about the day of the week, that part doesn't matter. But the time of day is what can make or break your short. After studying many creators, I've noticed the ones that knew what they were doing had a posting pattern. They would post at a certain time of the day. I'm not saying you should copy them, but you should figure out when your viewers are mostly online to watch your shorts. Let me show you something. If you go to the analytics tab in studio, click on audience, and scroll down a bit, you can see the times when your audience is mostly on YouTube. You can use that to your advantage and align your posting time to when your viewers are most active. You can also experiment the amount you post. I've done a few experiments myself from posting twice a day to twice a week. They both had their ups and downs, but my advice to you is for you to find that sweet spot, that spot where posting won't bring too much trouble in your daily life, but you can still have enough time to bring out quality content. The key is consistency. If you lose momentum, you might just lose your chance of making thousands of dollars. You may be wondering, is it possible for anyone to make money from YouTube Shorts, or is it just for a lucky few? Well after researching all these creators, I can say with certainty that if you follow all the advice I gave you, it's 100% possible you can make passive income in your sleep just from YouTube Shorts. First let's understand the difference between CPM and RPM. CPM is how much money is actually made from your video, but it's not how much you get to take home. RPM, however, is the amount of money you actually get to take for yourself, but don't get discouraged. Making Shorts is truly a good way to make money since YouTube changed their RPM rate over the last year from $0.04 every 1,000 views to $0.10 every 1,000 views. Those are my proven methods on how you can make any YouTube Short go viral and start making serious income every month. If this video helped you in any way, please drop a like and subscribe as it helps us come out with better quality content for you guys. Thanks for all the support, peace out.
