In any realm, if God sends you there, congratulations, you will prosper there. If God did not send you there, why do you want to die in order to live? After you die, where is the life? Whatever is not right, can never become right, no matter how long it is gone and how... You want to go, let me tell you something, there are people who don't struggle to go abroad from the embassy, succeed well here, they will beg you with visa. In places like Europe, in the UK and in America, somebody, I remember not too long ago, if you have up to a hundred thousand pounds in your account, they can give you both business visa and permit to reside there and do business. Why? Because you brought money into their country. You are not a liability. Up till today, they still talk about business visa and people. You see, there are things that become easy for you if you make up your mind that success is not a destination, it is not a particular destination, it is in a revelation. You will not die before your time. You will not die before your time. Thank God you are alive. May God fulfill the purpose why he kept you alive and clear all those kellogs from your face and the hand everywhere bumped. But may God cause you to be alive. There is nobody who is old enough to stop eating. That they said, this person has eaten all his life. He's an old man. He's 120 years now. The food he ate since he was born is enough. Is he not dead? They wanted to kill the man. For as long as life remains, the need for feeding is a constant. That is the second reason why faith must be fed as a living force. Thirdly, the vitality of faith. Why must we feed faith? Partly because the vitality of faith is key to experiencing the reality of God. The vitality of faith is key to experiencing the reality of God. It is when faith is alive that we see God real. There are many people in whose life God does not appear real. But if you see a child of God, a person, whoever it is. And you are seeing God real in his life. Then that faith is alive. Someone say a loud Amen. Having said all that then, how do we feed and jewel faith? We have mentioned three already in previous, the last midweek service. Number four for the sake of this service is through praying and fellowshipping in the Spirit. Jude verse 20, it said, But you, beloved, building yourselves up, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Building yourselves on your most holy faith. So, the Holy Ghost is a faith builder. People who know how to pray in the Spirit, they are people of faith. The man of God, his name was John Gillick. He said, I pray as I run, I run as I pray. He was a man who was pre-eminently a man of the Spirit. He prayed and blasted in tongues more than most people I know. This man built a church, 625 churches under 5 years in South Africa. Sparks of a revival. Prayed for a crippled horse who jumped up and started walking. People are struggling to pray for human beings. He was praying for a horse that broke his leg. The horse jumped up and started walking. He was a man of very ruthless faith. One day there was a plague called the bubonic plague that was killing people like water in South Africa then. They were burying people, the doctors and everybody, they were burying people who were holding globes. Those who protected themselves were like Ebola of that time. They were dying. He was burying the people, assisting the doctors, burying the people with bare hands. Some people told him, they said, are you not risking your life? This thing is killing people, it's going to kill you. He said, no, that virus can't dare me. He said, put the virus in my hand and check it under the microscope. You will confirm that none of it is alive. They carried the foam of the dead people in his hand, placed it under the microscope. All the bacteria that came in contact with his hand were dead. He put it, Romans chapter 8 verse 1, he said, for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set him free from the law of sin and death. He said the law of the spirit is superior to the law of death. He said that law is at work in him so that other law cannot work. John Graham Linc was a man who prayed vericatiously, abundantly in the spirit. They had an accident sometime ago, sometime, and they rushed a man to the meeting where he was. They just had an accident. The man's one eyeball came out scattered with the accident. He laid hands on the man and began to pray and the pieces of the eye, anywhere they were, began to gather and return back to the socket. As far as John Graham Linc was concerned, anything was possible and that was because of the realm of faith he operated in by the angels of the Holy Ghost. The person who wants to ask an answer is, how does the Holy Ghost help in the building of faith? Through two means. I have mentioned one in the first service. But just briefly to say, yes, you can play to that. The spirit of God broadens man's understanding of Scripture. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, it has not entered the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for them that love him, but God has revealed them to us by the spirit, for the spirit searches of the ear, the deep things of God. So the Holy Ghost broadens a man's understanding of Scripture. It causes you to see Scripture the way you never saw it before, to understand it the way you never understood it before. And anywhere understanding is available, belief is cheap. Understanding is the jewel for belief. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word. The literal meaning is faith cometh by hearing and understanding the word. So the Holy Spirit makes you to understand the Scripture unusual. Whatever people have seen and they are confused, it is so clear to you. Hallelujah. Somebody say Amen. When an intelligent guy comes out of a mathematics exam, maybe further math, or a physics exam, he is intelligent and he comes out of the exam. And mathematics is not English, it is not grammar. If you got the formula and follow the steps, you will arrive at the answer. And if you got it, you know. And the guy came out of the class and he said, do you understand, it is not grammar, it is not English, you are not explaining anything. You just follow the steps. Alright, and you just follow, you saw the examples, you follow the steps, arrive at the answer. And everybody's answer will be the same. The same question, the same formula, the same steps. 4 plus 4 in Robo language is what? 4 plus 4 is what in Robo? 8 in Igama? In Thieves? If it is 4 plus 4, it is in French, it will be how much? Can 4 plus 4 be 8 in Thieves language? And then it is 12 in Igala language? It is not possible. That is how it is. So, when the young man came out of the mathematics exam, and he said, I smashed it. Is he operating faith? Is he talking by faith? From what realm is he talking? And will he pass it? He overpasses. Why? I mean, he understood the mathematics, he understood the examples, he understood the steps. He went into the exam, he did what he understood, he came out clean. When understanding is there, faith is a walk over. I don't, I don't, I can't, I can't. When you understand what God is saying, you don't struggle to believe Him. In the first studies I gave an example of a man that they have, that they brought into the emergency of the medical, medical emergency with hypoglycemic coma. That is, he has low blood sugar, and then he went into coma. The doctor would check that guy out under 10 minutes. It is one of the simplest comas to treat. Right? And when he tells the people, I mean, he fainted because he had not enough food in his system. And by the time they finished with him with 50% dextrose, and the doctor tells him, relax, you will soon see him. He is not operating by faith. That expectation he gave them is rooted in deep understanding. One, an understanding of the therapy. Two, an understanding of previous experiences of those that checked out from the same therapy. Understanding of how it works. He didn't just know that digoxin is going to handle congestive cardiac failure, but he knows the mechanism of action by his study of pharmacology as a medical student. Am I communicating? That is how understanding works. All truths are parallel. As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual. All you need to struggle is, Lord, broaden my understanding. Every time I encounter your word, let me see what I haven't seen. Sharpen my understanding. Let me see beyond the letter. Let me see beyond the writing. Check yourself. That is one avenue. You heard a threat from a witch in the village. And the Holy Ghost said, move, move. You are looking for a scripture in the book of Proverbs. Move there. What you are looking for is located in Isaiah. Just move, just move, move. What you need to handle this situation is not the one in Proverbs. That one in Proverbs looks like it can handle it, but this one is more lethal. This sort of scripture will bring your faith alive. The life you need is in this verse. And that life will instantly feed your faith. And the feeding of your faith is the flooring of the adversary. Am I communicating? That is a major assignment of the Holy Ghost. He ushers and guides you into scriptures that can bring your faith alive on the spot. He said, it is an Iroko tree, you want to pull down, don't carry cutlass. What you need to use now is bulldozer. And so, the fourth thing is, the fourth way in which our faith can be fed, or fuelled, or grown, is through planting the Spirit. The fifth way is through the climate and the company of faith. Do you know that there are many people who are, many grown up people today, who are suffering from the way they were brought up? There are some that carry the permanent poverty mentality, because of the way they grew up, and because of the kind of things they were told. Forget. Does money grow on trees? Relax. Your time cannot achieve this kind of thing. The atmosphere you grow inside, determines what can grow in you. Faith cannot grow in you, if your atmosphere is a doubt climate. Audacity cannot grow inside you, if you came out of a timidity climate. Someone say Amen. My father is a lion of some sort. My mother too is a lion. I remember, one day I travelled, and I returned back home with a whitlow on my leg. And in the night I was tooling, I also was running tummy, and I had a whitlow on my leg. I laid in the living room of my mother, overnight. And she heard the door opening many times in the night. And she cried out like a lioness. She said, what is happening? I said, I am tooling. She said, you have whitlow, and you are tooling at the same time. What does the devil want to do with you? Lie down there, let me see the devil that will take you, take you to the toilet again. Laid hands on me like fire. And the toilet excused herself. Disappeared till tomorrow. Shortly after that the whitlow too found its level. You can't be connected to such mindset, and then grow and behave like chicken. My wife had, during her first, second pregnancy, big tummy was going to toilet like that too. Big tummy, about 7 months, I can't remember. Frequent toilet. I looked and then I remember what happened to me. Lie down there, let me see the devil that... Let me see the devil that will take you to toilet again. And she laid down there. Her own toilet did not return back till 3 days. Almost to the point of praying again, for the refund of the toilet. Take your seat. I am saying that to say the atmosphere around your life, that is why you must watch who surrounds you. The people of your life determines the power of your life. Look at this in the book of Numbers 13 verse 31. Numbers 13 verse 31. Look at what happened to Israel. He said, but the men that went up with him said, we'd be not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land, which they had searched unto the throne of Israel, saying, the land through which we have gone to search it, is a land that he set up the inhabitants thereof. You know most reports that people bring are exaggerated. He set up the inhabitants thereof, and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which covered the giants, and we were in our own size as grasshoppers. And so we were in their sight. Chapter 14, the next verse. Go to the next verse. And all the congregation lifted up their voice and cried, and the people wept that night, all night weeping. Why? They heard something. God said, I gave you the land. Some people said, no. The land that we saw, it eats up inhabitants. They lied twice. First, if it eats up its inhabitants, you yourself came back alive. Two, you said the land that eats up its inhabitants has giants there, and people are still living there. Don't let anybody destroy you with words. And so, that was it. And they wept until they had no power to weep, because somebody brought a report that was contrary. That is why the climate of your life affects the convictions of your heart. The climate, the company you keep affects the conviction of your heart. I said in the last service, it's not everybody you tell your visions to. Not everybody you share your dreams with. Not everybody you tell what you want to do with your life. Because there are those who will kill it and dissipate it, and make you feel like you have lost your mind for thinking like that. What is the general counsel on this point 5A? Consciously select your company. Consciously. To love is a command, but to relate is a choice. Love liberally, relate carefully. Love liberally, but relate carefully. Secondly, never manage or tolerate the wrong company. Don't say, well, it's my friend we are just managing. Never manage it. Love him. But if he comes to speaking into your life, and giving counsel and directing you, that is not the voice to hear, if he doesn't possess your convictions. Hallelujah. Very, very important. Assist each other in Babylon to fulfill destiny. Because the heart is a mindset. Finally, how do you fuel your faith? Through impact from higher vessels in the faith. That was a faith in the heart of Louis. Louis went into Eunice, the daughter, and he went into Timothy, the son. Grandmother, mother, son. Generational transfer of faith. I'd like you to understand three things. First, your connection determines your collection. Your connection determines your collection. What can be collected is determined by whom you are connected to. Secondly, associations facilitate assimilation. Associations facilitate assimilation. There are things that flow by spiritual osmosis, if you permit me, by associations. Thirdly, to be instructed is to be affected. Who instructs you determines who affects you. As a matter of fact, to be instructed correctly is to be upgraded massively. Upgraded. Impact from higher vessels in the faith. What do you do? Is your spiritual father, your pastor, your mentor, your teacher? They affect your faith. Archbishop Vincent Ndaho's heart-blessed memory was at our Robert University ground. And he looked at everything and he said, did God do this through the hand of one man? God can also do the same in Africa. And he came back with the same vision. And God literally did, abundantly. What do you do to be affected by higher vessels? Number one, listen to them. The words of people carry the virtues in them. Listen to them. The words I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life. The words of people carry their virtues. Listen in tapes, listen in DVDs, listen in CDs. Second, be around the atmosphere. Acts 14, they beheld the boldness of Peter and John and took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus. Be around the atmosphere. There are things that are taught and there are others that are caught. It is in the atmosphere that you catch things. Thirdly, watch their steps. Lamentations chapter 3 verse 51, it says, My eye affected my heart. Observation brings imperfection. Watch their steps. What do they do? What are their testimonies? The testimonies of their practices with God. The testimonies of their relationship, their sacrifices, their commitments to God. What are those things? And finally, take their steps. You don't just watch their steps, you take their steps. Judges chapter 7 verse 17, And he said unto them, Look on me and do likewise. And behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that as I do, so shall ye do. Someone say aloud, Amen. Say louder, Amen. I welcome you today. The same grace and the same spirit of faith and help of God upon this earth is released upon your life. Released upon your family. Released upon you. Whatever good thing you have seen here, that is desired in your life, is hereby released. Stand up on your feet and lift your hands and give Him the praise this moment. Give the Lord the praise and give Him the honor and the adoration. Appreciate it. Be upstanding.
