"Adam and Eve" is a poem by John Milton, an English poet from the 17th century. It is a part of his epic poem "Paradise Lost," which was originally published in 1667 and re-published in 1674. The poem is written in blank verse and consists of over ten thousand lines of verse. This particular poem was chosen as the Weekly Poetry project and was recited by volunteers on LibriVox. "Adam and Eve" is a story about the first humans, their creation, and their fall from grace in the Garden of Eden.
