Requiem Aeternam/Kyrie-John Mario Di Costanzo

I composed this piece during my father’s convalescence. Having trouble sleeping at night while watching him go through his final phase of life, I would sit at the bedside and write, completing just one phrase each night. Out of those midnight hours, in addition to finishing a full symphony, I managed to sketch the first movement of a Requiem and this specific canon for the Kyrie and Christe eleison sections of the mass.
