Overall, they express positivity and satisfaction with their progress. I'm a loser. I'm a loser. And I'm not what I appear to be. Of all the love I have won or have lost. Hey, how you doing? It's me. Yeah, it's a different opening song. And yeah, I am a loser. Let me explain this one now. I've been on a diet for about two weeks. Because I have, with my heart trouble, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. You look it up. My cardiologist who diagnosed me with that told me, don't go running or jogging. I said, don't worry, I'm a union member. I like that joke. And I asked him, can I go bike riding? He said, well, what kind of bike riding? I said leisurely. He said, yeah, just don't do any marathons or bike-a-thons. I said, well, no problem there. And I thought, you know, this is kind of serious. But then I also, you know, thought about it. Like, well, I should, you know, I am morbidly obese. And so I thought, well, time for me to start losing some weight. So I talked to the cardiologist. He said, hey, we got one, you know, in our main building there. And your insurance pays for it. Out of pocket, it's like $200 every three months. I'm thinking, I can do that. No problem there. And so he sent me to a nutritionist. And they got three programs. And one is a quick start, lose a lot of weight. And then another one is like, you know, a year. And then the third one is like longer than a year. And I'm thinking, well, the third one sounds like a lifetime. And the nutritionist, she said, yeah. I said, I want to do the first one and then the third one. However long the first one is, I forgot to ask. But I can tell you guys, the heaviest I've ever weighed at a doctor's office, 333. I mean, my parents were overweight. There's overweight people in my family. My dad's dad was overweight. I don't know who else in that lineage. But I've got that. But the cardiac, yeah, my heart trouble is genetic. I believe I got that from my mom. So I thought, well, you know, I'm taking this heart medication. It's experimental. I'm putting my life in the hands of these doctors. And, you know, I had an echo done once a month. Well, I just went and saw my echo, my cardiologist. And he says I need to go in every three months for the echo instead of every one month. I guess things seem to be working there. But also, I've got a scale at home. And I am happy. I love my scale. I know, you know, most dieticians will tell you don't stand on a scale. Don't do that. You know, it's just a number. Don't pay attention to that for now. I want to because I don't stare at myself in the mirror. But the one way I see results is in numbers. And I weighed myself this morning. Drumroll. Ping. Weighed 301. Compared to the heaviest I've ever weighed this year, I lost 29 pounds. I'm like, oh, whoa, wow. People say, well, what program you got? I'll send you a link to where I order food. But it's also I'm going to have a protein bar or a protein shake, a combination of both, or like a total of six of them. So I had a protein bar, and I'm downing it with a protein shake. And this should last me hours. And then I just need a non-food-related hobby, which, at work, hey, I'm on an assembly line. So, you know, I just can't sit down and eat a lot. So I've taken a salad, you know, munch on that here and there as I go throughout my day. And nice. So far I'm liking the results. So, yeah, I want to tell you all that I'm a loser. But if you want to know the link, reply to this, and I'll send it to you. Okay? Anyhoo, I got tonight off from work. I'm doing laundry. Going to do some shopping. Going to make chili in the morning. It's not chili I can eat, though I will give myself like a half a bowl, probably at the picnic. And then there's going to be a lot of healthy stuff at the picnic that I can have. And I'll do that. You know, I'm being accountable to people. So they're going to keep an eye on me. But as usual, yeah, that's how my weekend is started. Very nice. Laundry being done. I'm a loser. And I like it. And that's it for right now. Talk later.
