John Henry Mackay

John Henry Mackay, was a writer, thinker, and individualist anarchist who was born in Scotland but raised in Germany. He is famously known for his books, "Die Anarchisten" (The Anarchists) which was published in 1891 and "Der Freiheitsucher" (The Searcher for Freedom) which was published in 1921. His works were published in the United States in his friend Benjamin Tucker's magazine, Liberty. Apart from his literary achievements, Mackay was also known for his sexual orientation and was considered a notable homosexual.
