EPISODE ONE - 49 Eyes & Dorothy Scott.

Okay, welcome to the podcast with JMN. I'm here with Mia and Jessica. Today we'll be discussing Dorothy Scott and the Eyeball Killer. Early in 1980 Dorothy J. Scott began receiving phone calls at work. She was a single mother of a toddler who didn't get much of a call at first. Until one night, when the sinister voice over the phone told her to look outside a single dead rose was lying on the windshield of her car. I think at this point she should have been a lot more cautious and wary about everything. Especially being a single mother, you don't want to protect your child. I feel like the first phone call, I feel like she would have already reported it. Yeah, I would have definitely went to the police department or something. I also heard that the person that was calling her was very familiar. Like it was a familiar voice probably. So she probably knew who it was. Yeah, but also she didn't know who it was but she has a feeling. Like the feeling of when you've heard a voice before or something. It's so sad. And then it says that she was buried by dog bones. That's awful. It really is. That's what I'm saying. Do you think the dog was a victim too? That's so sad. What if he was killed too? Yeah. That's sad. That's so sad. But I'm glad we discussed this short story, what happened to Dorothy Jane Scott. And when we come back, we'll be talking about the eyeball killer. But you know, that could happen to anybody these days. I think the woman got shot in the head too. And I think she was also beaten up. Yes, it was so sad. I think she got beaten up first and then got shot in the head. He really tortured her. This was during Dallas and yeah. This is awful, you know, because like what happened to him after that? Oh, it says that he was incarcerated at the John Monsfold Psychiatric Unit in Lowell, TX. I never even heard of that place. I think it's really scary because it's in the same state that we're in. It's just scary to think about how these murders could happen to anybody. I just wonder what goes on in their head. Yeah, like how do you get the feeling to even be able to murder somebody? It's crazy to think that serial killers are everywhere too. Yeah, because they could be like any like they could be your mother, your father, or your brother. Like probably just talked to them before and never knew about it. But this is the end of the first episode of our JMN podcast and we're closing off with Mia and Jessica.
