Riley lived in Columbia Hall at USC. Her favorite places to eat on campus were Colloquium, Dibb's, and Fresh Greens. She enjoyed the social aspect of Columbia Hall, despite the small rooms. Off-campus, she was involved in sorority life and enjoyed going to Cycle Bar and the YMCA for workouts. She also liked going for walks along the Riverwalk and dining at places like the gourmet shop, Cava, and Sweetwater coffee shop. Hey, this is Evelyn. I'm interviewing my friend Riley. We're going to be talking about her first year as a freshman at USC. So my first question is, where did you live and what were your favorite places to eat on campus? Okay, so I lived in Columbia Hall, on like the east side of campus. And my favorite places to eat were Colloquium. I like the wraps there a lot. And food court wise, I would say like Dibb's or Fresh Greens, I think that's what it's called. And they have like pretty healthy options. How did you like Columbia Hall in general? Columbia Hall was like definitely a dorm experience. I mean, I wouldn't say it was the nicest dorm on campus, but it was definitely very social and an experience for sure. I mean, I ended up loving it, but the first few months, it was definitely an adjustment. And they do have tiny little rooms for their dorms, so that was also hard to adjust to. And what did you like to do off campus? What restaurants, workout classes, etc.? Well, besides like football games, I would say most of my time was filled with like sorority life. We had like a lot of formals and events and like meetings. And then for working out, like I would love to go to Cycle Bar and I got a gym membership at the Y. And I would honestly sometimes just like go to the Riverwalk and do like a nice long walk. But restaurant-wise, I love the gourmet shop. I would also kind of just hit like places like Cava, this place called Sweetwater. It's a good coffee shop. Great. And so thanks, Riley, for your time and support.
