James Gibbs reflects on the horrors he witnessed in the abandoned town. He searches for supplies in an old tavern and encounters a possible threat hiding in the corner. He threatens to set the building on fire if the person doesn't reveal themselves. James Gibbs. As he walked about what was left of the forsaken town, he thought of what he had heard and seen from a distance. He remembered the screaming, the fires, the dead. He had followed the trails of smoke and ash to the first town attacked by the undead. It was a small town named Dalewood. They didn't have a chance. Innocent men, women, and children slaughtered at the hands of monsters. He rummaged through what was left of the local tavern, grabbing up any healing supplies and food he could. After all, who knows how much he would need. There was a faint noise and a small movement in the corner of the store. He quickly drew his sword and held it out in the ready for an attack. He walked closer to the movement. The movement stopped. He observed an ale barrel on its side and fallen debris and chairs piled up in the corner. A hiding spot? He grabbed a nearby torch and held it out while keeping out the ready. Come out now. If you don't, I will set this building ablaze with you in it. It remained quiet.
