A group of graduates reflect on their time at school and their achievements. They reminisce about their experiences and the organizations they were a part of. They discuss their plans for college and the financial struggles they face. One of the graduates, Vince, is confronted by his parents about his future plans and the need to support the family. Tensions rise and Vince's mother's illness is revealed. Vince takes on multiple jobs to help pay for his mother's medical bills. Eventually, Vince's mother recovers and the family is able to support Vince in pursuing his dreams. They emphasize the importance of trusting in oneself and surrounding oneself with good people. Graduates, teachers, administrators, and parents who are present at this very moment, cherishing the time we stand before these students who are primed and eager to achieve their dreams. As we end this ceremony, filled with hope and joy, I want everyone to reflect on this vision. DLSE aims to form Lasallian Achievers for God and Country. Graduates, join me as I say ANIMO! ANIMO! Hey, congrats! I'm so proud of you guys. I'm so proud of us for still being beside each other. I know, right? It has been a long rollercoaster journey for us, even for our batch. It felt like yesterday was still PT week. I remember my first time here in Zabal. I was so shocked at how great the facilities were. Yo, guys! Do you still remember our first time on stage at Sylvia Pellina Theater? Yeah, yeah. I remember. You were playing Florante at that time. Uh-huh. I was wrapped around Mark since he was playing the role of a tree during that play. Silly. Aren't you noticing anything? Our friend group graduated from different organizations. Oh, yeah. SRCC, MOVE, and Nonti Ang Binhi. I'm so glad to be part of these organizations. They built my identity as a Lasallian and taught me how to lead, to help, and to tell the truth to the community. I'm sure that Ginong Bangko, Binibining Dads, and Sir Jason are proud of us. I will surely miss this campus. Me too. We will still see each other at college, right? Certainly. I already passed the entrance exam. I am just preparing my requirements, then I am good to go. How about you, Vince? I'm not sure about my plans yet. We're financially unstable at the moment. Trust me. Your parents will find a way to provide your education. You're on top of our class. They should let you go to college. I hope so. They're not even here to watch me share my speech. Hey, don't be so negative. I am sure that they are proud of you, of what you have become, and who will you become in the future. Those shiny gold medals are worth their smiles later when you go home. Let's go. Enough with all drama. I'm craving some gipsal at the moment. My treat. Really? I thought you're receiving them for something. Duh, we deserve this. After defending our final thesis, my body needs a refreshment. Hahaha. They have arrived at the Samgipso place and they enjoyed eating and chilling for three hours to celebrate their achievements as graduates. Vince, together with a family of Janet and Matthew, happily shared the moments. They made Vince feel that he always has a second family that loves him and is proud of his achievements. After celebrating the big event, he then headed home. While walking on the dark street of their village, he prepared himself for the big question. I'm home. Oh, there you are. Come and join us to eat dinner. How was your graduation? I see that you have shiny gold medals in you. It was okay. I got this because I am on top of my class. So what is your plan? What job will you take? I don't know. I'm still thinking about it. How long will you think about it? You are wasting time, money, and effort. We worked ourselves up just for all of you to finish school and now you will just give me an answer like that? What is all the tiredness and hardships for? You know we don't have the time and money to send you to college. We have discussed this several times. Listen to your mother. How will you support this family? You are the eldest and the older brother of your two little sister. What will happen to them? You rely too much on your mother and I. Do you think we are obligated to work hard for the rest of our lives? What will happen to you all when your mother and I are gone? I've heard enough of this. All I want is for our lives to be good. I want you two to retire and just enjoy your lives. For my little sisters to have great futures. To live a desirable life. But how will all that be fulfilled? I want to attain that by doing what I just love. Will you just give me time to think about that? No. You have to find paying job instantly. To tell you the truth, your mother was diagnosed with rheumatic heart disease. Your mother has a weak heart for all of this to handle. We need funds for her hospital bills. So what? The audacity for you to order me like that is just unforgivable. On top of that, you kept this disease a secret. How many years did you hide this from us? Mom! This is your fault, Kuya. I will never forgive you if something happens to mom. After the incident at the house, Vins was so worried that they hurriedly rushed their mother to the hospital. They wandered around the waiting area, hoping for positive feedback from the emergency room. Since then, Vins never complained about all the things that he needed to sacrifice. He applied for jobs that he never expected to get. We have a few more candidates to interview. Thank you for your time. Hi. Hi. Where are you right now? We need to meet ASAP. Okay. I'm at the hospital right now. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Send your location. I'll be there. So what's your plan? Has there been a company that has accepted you? Honestly, the companies I applied for did not accept me and I was surprised. I had high hopes for myself. What will happen to our dreams and hopes, Yaneth? Will it all be just wishes? I have good news for you. This is it! We can now pull off our greatest dreams and work together. With each other, we will achieve all the dreams we set. Vins worked with passion with his friends and did what they truly loved the most. The illness of her mother was cured and she lived longer. Kuya, Mama's woken up already. The doctor said she could go home tomorrow. I know that you work hard for this. We have saved some money for you to use for your dream school. Aww, thank you. You shouldn't have. Kuya, always remember to choose yourself first. We are grateful to have you. Mama and Papa are proud of you. You're just not vocal but I'm sure your dreams are theirs too. Vins' family lived a desirable life and Vins went to college with the help of all the money that they saved up. Everything is possible. We just need to trust in it and be surrounded by good people.
