a few thoughts that I wanted to share! Happy Monday!
In this Mindset Monday discussion, the speaker shares some wisdom and stories to inspire listeners to have a winning mindset. They talk about Alexander the Great's conquest and how his troops were successful because they had no plan B and were fully committed. The speaker encourages listeners to step out of their comfort zones, take the first step towards their goals, and go all in without relying on safety nets. They emphasize the importance of intentions guiding actions and quote the idea that success comes from doing common things uncommonly well. The speaker also reminds listeners to focus on building relationships and making each conversation count. Good Monday, everybody. It is Mindset Monday, and with that, I wanted to share with you a few thoughts and pieces of wisdom that have been shared with me. So I'm going to dive right in with it and talk about the first thing that spoke with me today in looking at my mindset and how to always, how can I crush today? And it was these words. So let me share a little story with you. History information, I suppose. Alexander the Great led a military conquest during his reign. He was overtaking the Persian Empire. As he and his men arrived on the Persian shores ready for battle, Alexander the Great ordered the boats they arrived in to be burned. He told his men, we will either return home in Persian ships, or we will die here. His point was clearly understood by his troops, and they swiftly defeated the Persians. There was no turning back. They came to win, and they did. Imagine that, showing up with no plan to go back, and they were able to accomplish the goal that they set out. Sometimes we need to make sure we don't have that safety spot sitting behind us. How do we burn our boats in 2024? Step one, get out of your comfort zone. It's important to navigate with wisdom and planning, but oftentimes we tend to operate in very conservative fashions and focusing too much on our safety nets. Every single person here has been asked, what is your make it or break it number for real estate? And with that, I want to make sure you make it and you crush that number. These are the ways we're going to help you do that. One, get out of that comfort zone. Navigate with faith by taking wise risks, and let's do some amazing things. Step two, take that first step. Take that step. Another quote from having conversations with you guys is, is it day one or one day? So day one is, you took that step forward. You have crushed it. You are crushing it. I always think of day one as, this is the last day I ever have to feel the way that I feel, or the last day I didn't know that information, because now I know, right? It is always improving and never taking failure as failure, but as a step towards success. And then step three is, go all in, right? When we go all in, we don't look for that safety net. We take that giant leap and we make it happen. When we go all in, we focus on our intentions, right? My favorite quote is, let your intentions guide your attentions. Let's crush it with that. So looking at your Ninja 9 and things like that and how we can accomplish it, to me, that's one of the ways that we can go all in. There's many other ways too, and that's one of the ways that we're focusing on here. We're going to burn the boat. And then lastly, words that have spoken to me so hard, probably for the last 30 plus days at this point, and what I'd like to continue focusing on when we do these recordings and such is this quote. And when I looked up, it was shared to me by one of our realtors here who I truly respect, and I think willingly shares a lot of wisdom and truly is a treat to talk to every time. I truly enjoy always getting a little bits of information from them. So with that, this quote comes from three different men, well, four, because I heard it from someone here in our building too. But the secret to success is to do the common thing uncommonly well. When you look this up, it's some variation of this quote, either by Don George Washington Carver, J.D. Rockefeller, or Henry Heinz. So what do you do that's common and you do it uncommonly well? That is your success. That is part of you, and that is part of why you are amazing. So with that, Mindset Monday, it's a great day to go get a listing. Remember every time we are doing that and connecting with people, it's actually all about our conversation and how people remember that conversation. So make it a great day.
