Mark Cox, a renowned podcast producer, shares his experience of creating a podcast. He mentions that the software used for podcast production can be challenging at first, with programs like Audacity appearing overwhelming. However, he advises taking it step by step and reassures that it is not as difficult as it initially seems. Overall, he emphasizes that podcast production is manageable and offers a lot of possibilities. Alright, I'm here interviewing Mark Cox, renowned podcast producer, and we're doing this interview right next to a freeway on-ramp because, of course, that's the best place to do this sort of interview for a podcast. So Mark, I was just wondering, can you tell us a little bit about the process of creating a podcast? Did you have any challenges in it? Any difficulties? Can you tell us a little bit about that? Oh yeah, sure. You know, I think getting into the podcast producing industry, you know, the hardest bit when you're first starting is the software. You know, it's a lot to get into. You open it up and it's audacity and it's like, oh, shoot, that's a lot to look at right now. But, you know, you just take a step back, take a step at a time, and it ain't that bad. And there's quite a lot you can do with it. I mean, it ain't bad.
