The speaker recaps the previous day's hockey games, highlighting the Rangers' win over the Red Wings and the Capitals' surprise victory over the Kings. They also mention the Canadiens' win over the Blue Jackets. The speaker then discusses the games happening that day and shares their predictions for each matchup. They also question which division is the toughest in the league, with a bias towards the Atlantic division. Finally, they mention the possibility of the NHL implementing an interleague tournament similar to the NBA. Welcome back, Hood Hockey, easy recap today, you know, recap, uh, Wednesday was late work so we'll probably gonna breeze through that, um, talk about some games that are popping off today, tonight is some games going on, crazy, uh, but then a couple things I wanna talk about, you know, um, things going on, uh, quick question for y'all too, before I get into all that, like I said, uh, let me get into that recap, cause Wednesday was late work, uh, only three games, uh, you know, Rangers over the Red Wings 3-2, obviously keeping my eyes on that, you know, um, Rangers just really out there doing it, really looking like the best team in the league, just, I ain't got a lot of experience, but it is, and Rangers out here looking like the best team in the league, uh, I know, um, the past might be like, oh, well, you know, they played the Red Wings, uh, Red Wings ain't trash, alright, they're fourth in the Atlantic, and, I'm gonna be real with you, I think Atlantic got the toughest division, but, that's, that's another, that's another thing, we're gonna get back to that, uh, Kings, I'm sorry, not the Kings, Rangers and the Red Wings, you know, uh, at home, Rangers just look tough, definitely, definitely looking like one of the best teams in the league, and, you know, 3-2 victory over the Red Wings, who are not no slouches, facts, so, you know, keep an eye on them, uh, Capitals going into L.A. taking a 2-1, Kings did not see that coming, um, I mean, Kings are far from bums, Capitals, I mean, yeah, I, but the Kings, I thought that the Kings had that on lock in L.A. at home, um, third in their division, I mean, right behind Canucks and the Knights, I mean, come on, Pacific solid, so, I didn't see that one coming, and then the other game was the Montreal Canadiens over the Blue Jackets, and 4-2, I mean, plenty of work on the road, you know, shout out to them, get that, get that W, uh, Blue Jackets, I mean, come on, what are we doing here, so, uh, you know, 4-2, over the Blue Jackets, on the road, and, uh, that's just, that was it, it was a little, little light work, uh, definitely watched, watching that Rangers game, but other than that, you know, just took it easy, chilling at the crib, and, uh, running, running through the games, you know, I, I wasn't mad, I had a lot going on, so, three games is cool, and, and, I was not mad at all, because I had been, you know, so, when you work, and try to watch some of these games, it's tough, definitely is tough, uh, but today was the day, I mean, so many games popping off today, uh, getting to a few, of course, off rip, I'm waiting for the Bruins to wake the fuck up, you got San Jose, you're playing in Boston, you've been getting smacked around, waiting for y'all to wake the fuck up today, it be the day, I mean, Bruins fans, as a whole, and I can speak, because I'm wholeheartedly one, we will lose our fucking shit, if you guys lose to San Jose, I'm going to tell you right now, straight like that, just, we will lose our shit, if y'all fucking lose to San Jose tonight, dead ass, stop playing, uh, we got the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Flyers, and the Devils, I mean, I see, I see New Jersey going in Philly, handling business, uh, Islanders and the Hurricanes at home, I mean, the Canes, Canes are going to hold it down at home, I see, I see that, that's my prediction, uh, cracking in the Maple Leafs, uh, you gotta try to go to Toronto and get a crack in, but that ain't gonna happen, we got the Blackhawks and the Red Wings, Red Wings at home, after that L to the Rangers, they are not playing, uh, Chicago has not been all that all year, clearly, we know that, um, so I definitely see the Red Wings, uh, holding it down, uh, at home, hey, Panthers in Montreal, I mean, Canada, Canadians are probably feeling good after that W, but now they gotta go home and play Florida, Florida, man, Florida's Florida, um, they play good hockey, like, I, I got an eye on them, especially they rake on my heels again, um, you know, so, uh, Montreal is definitely gonna have their hands full tonight, uh, Tampa Bay, Holston-Pittsburgh, I mean, Pittsburgh's out here fighting for that playoff spot, the Penguins want in, but Tampa's no joke, especially at home, not playing, the Laitanans, uh, hosting the Penguins at 7, that's probably gonna be a solid one, I'm gonna be flipping, I'm gonna be flipping back and forth a lot tonight, uh, Sabres and, uh, the Blues at St. Louis, 8 o'clock, um, yo, Sabres, I ain't gonna lie, they're alright, they're alright, they play, they play decent, but you gotta go into St. Louis, and they're another one trying to fight in for that, they're trying to be fighting for a playoff spot, I think they're trying to move up, so, watch out for St. Louis, that's at 8, um, the Wild and the Predators, uh, don't really got the dog in that fight, um, whoever's in the Jets, I mean, I, I, I mean, I mean, kinda just on my oily shit sometimes, but that's when they're home, it's getting hot tonight, and they're playing Winnipeg, and, um, I mean, that division ain't, ain't, that division really ain't all that, all that, all that, all that, uh, besides Dallas, um, so, we'll see what's up, don't really got a dog in that fight neither, uh, Dallas, speaking of Dallas, they're playing the Flames, they're playing Calgary at 9, uh, Avalanche is, Avalanche is, ay, yo, Avalanche is gonna be at, uh, is, uh, gonna be in Arizona playing the Coyotes, see, 9 o'clock, yo, and you know I'm staying up, I know them West Coast games, big fucker with me, yeah, them shits, them West Coast games have me in the headlock, cause then I gotta stay up, I mean, I don't like staying up like that no more, I, I'm too old for that shit, but 10 o'clock, Golden Knights, Canucks, the matchup I've been fucking waiting for, in Vancouver, fuck out of here, I'm all over that shit, um, I, I, man, I think this is where the Canucks, Canucks show the Knights that they're not playing, boom, boom, boom, they come up for that spot, and this is the night where they show it, I'm watching that game, I'm gonna be fucking locked in, and then we also have the Capitals on the road, again, little West Side trick, West Coast, West Coast, um, it's down to Anaheim to play the Ducks, they're probably gonna fuck him up, cause, to be honest, it's just like that, Ducks are trash, so, that's the deal, I think the Capitals said, yo, we just, you know what I'm saying, we went up and, and, so the Kings tuned them up, now we got the Ducks, you know, what's up, so, I think Capitals are gonna be on that little road trip bullshit, handling business, and I think they're gonna come away from that West Coast with two W's, it's like that, this is what it is, I don't know what to tell you, um, but yeah, like I said, so, that was a recap, uh, that was a couple games for tonight, that, uh, might be going off, you might be hearing that, might be going off tonight, stop playing, so, some other shit I wanna get into, you know, we got the recap, we got the, uh, games going off tonight, I wanna know, I've been thinking, who has the toughest division, I'ma say Atlantic, I know everybody's like, uh, it's cause he's a Bruins fan, yeah, a bit, I mean, get some bias in there, I ain't gonna lie, but, I'm looking at the upper, alright, so, if I really sat there and looked at the top four teams in every division, alright, top four teams in every division, I mean, Bruins, Panthers, Lightnings, and Red Wings, you know what I'm saying, I mean, the only other team, the only other teams in another division I really see matching up to that top four would be like Pacific, cause they got the Knights, they got the Kings, well, they got the Canucks, they got the Kings, and they got the Krakens, um, I mean, Metro, yeah, they got the Rangers, but then they have the Flyers, the Capitals, and the Hurricanes, and Central, I mean, Avalanche, Jets, Stars, Blues, um, alright, uh, cool if you from there, um, Atlantic got a lot, I mean, and I, you know what, I get it, it's not that I don't think about the points, yeah, I see the points, you know what I mean, and even if you accumulated the points, I mean, they still got, Atlantic got four points, um, up on Pacific, with that 105-109, but, you know, points are the points, and that's cool, and I'm not a big, big points guy, but yes, the points do matter, um, but, you know, I'm not even gonna go off that and use that to say that that's why, you know what I mean, I just think that the Atlantic division teams are better, they're just better, you know, the Bruins have been, the Bruins have been off their shit years, and they need to get that swagger back for sure, but, I think that Atlantic has a tougher division, the tougher teams, and just the better teams, that's it, you know, uh, wondering how y'all feel about that, I will put that up, uh, quick question, actually, I am gonna put that, if you guys need to know, uh, Swim Hockey is on patch, and, uh, trying to get on a couple more other platforms as well, uh, keeping this thing rolling, and, uh, another thing I wanna know for being an avid hockey fan for my whole life, being from New England, uh, big hockey fan, uh, you know, not only knowing the Bruins, the Bruins is all I've known for the longest time, um, and just being a wicked hockey guy, but also liking other sports as well, um, and looking at what the NBA's doing with their interleague tournament, thinking to myself, would that be such a bad idea if the NHL implement a little bit of that, um, I know that sounds crazy, and I know hockey's full of tradition, which I love, which is one of the things I like the most about hockey, but the way that I see the NBA going about it, and the way that I see the way that the fans are interacting with it, liking it, paying attention to it, uh, there's a bit of excitement seeing that all, uh, NHL and NBA are, I guess, breaks off so far away in February for the NHL as well as the NBA, and I'm not saying that hockey players in any way, shape, or form slack a minute on the ice, and I'm not trying to get a W every single game, as a fan, I'm not talking as a player, as a fan, it is fun to have that interleague tournament, to watch the interleague tournament, and give us something more just to pay attention to, even if you want to call it a distraction, I don't care, it's something that's fun, something else we gotta pay attention to, uh, pay more attention to the games, the home and away games matter so much more to the NBA now, because of this interleague tournament, um, and you know what, not so much to mess with the schedule of the NHL, because these teams are gonna play each other regardless, home as well as away, uh, but if there was a way to maybe tweak the schedule just a smidge to make these matchups come together, um, maybe not so much on certain days like the NBA, but you know, just implement it somewhat, definitely not trying to say we should change the ice, fuck outta here, ice is ice, the only thing you can do to ice to make it better is make it bigger, I don't give a fuck, ice is the ice, um, not trying to mess with that at all, uh, the jerseys, I mean, if they wanted to, it would only be more revenue for the teams, it would only be more fun for hockey fans and collectors to collect more cool shit, but not sweating the jerseys really too much either, not gonna lie, but as far as the tournament itself, um, making some of the games matter more to us, I mean, I don't know, I feel like they matter regardless, but you know, they matter to us too, but, um, it would just be cool, cause you know, and you know what, I don't, I had this kinda put aside, I said listen, this is gonna sound like hate, but if you guys have been listening, you know they be big up in Edmonton, I love them at home, I love that they give their fans a show, even though that they might not be in for the best ride, um, that they wanna be in for the season, even though McDavid stepped up and said, hey, by no, we are not dead in the water, McDavid said, quote unquote, we are not dead in the water, licks that, I like McDavid Tim, I likes that, uh, you know, a team like Edmonton who, Edmonton who probably is gonna do okay, but maybe not be where they really wanna be, then Suffolk should have to come away with a little interleague tournament, uh, cup, little something something, little something something, nothing wrong with that, um, and I just think that's cool, you know, I think that's cool for NBA as well, I think it's cool for, I think, and I would really really like if the, uh, NHL, uh, really try to implement a bit of this interleague tournament the way the NBA is, just throw a little more spice in there, why not, um, it's really probably more for the fans, and you know what, what the fuck is wrong with that, um, that's all my time right now guys, thank you for tuning in, Hood Hockey, we're gonna keep it rolling, you know I keep coming with the recaps, I try to keep them daily, I try to keep them fun, and a couple more things that, um, you know, come by my brain and I might wanna shoot this shit with you guys next time, I might do that too, um, you can find me on, uh, Twitter, X, whatever you wanna call it, Hood Hockey, uh, and you can find me, and I, it's Hood Hockey at, I don't get that shit, I'm not the most technical, but yes, on X, Hood Hockey at C-I-B-H-W, thank you very much, peace!
