Henry Fielding
Henry Fielding, born on April 22, 1707, was a renowned English novelist and dramatist, known for his clever satire and rich earthy humor. His most famous work, the novel Tom Jones, is still widely read today. Fielding's contributions extend beyond just literature, as he also played a significant role in law enforcement history. He co-founded the Bow Street Runners, a police force in London, with his half-brother John, using his authority as a magistrate. Interestingly, his younger sister Sarah also achieved success as a writer.
