The speaker starts by giving thanks and leading a prayer. They then introduce the topic of seeking God's voice in our lives and emphasize the importance of discerning His voice amidst the noise of the world. They encourage listeners to separate themselves from distractions and seek God's opinion and direction in every situation. The speaker gives examples from the Bible and concludes by urging listeners to come up higher and trust in God's leading. They end with a memory verse and a prayer for the grace to seek God's voice and obey it. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Shalom, beloved, and thank you for being a part of the Just and Dead Prayer Startup. I am Amanda Beiru from Harvest Chapel International, Dengame Kumasi, facilitating today's morning glory devotion. Kindly let us pray. Our Father in heaven, we thank you for today. We thank you for the ability and the opportunity to study your word. Father, we pray that you make our hearts fertile to receive your word and grant us the grace to obey it in our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen. Please let's take our confession from the book of Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then, I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Beloved, our topic for today is titled, Come Up Higher, Come Up Higher. Our scripture reading is taken from 2 Samuel chapter 2 verse 1. In the course of time, David inquired of the Lord, Shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah? he asked. The Lord said, Go up. David asked, Where shall I go? To Hebron, the Lord answered, Amen. Our second scripture is taken from Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 1. I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. Amen. Come Up Higher Beloved, as believers, we must make it a priority to always seek God's voice on the matters in our lives. There are many voices available, all seeking to influence, and it is imperative that we look out for God's voice in the midst of all the others. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John chapter 10 verse 27. It is therefore our duty to learn to discern the voice of God in our lives. This will come when we retreat from the noise of the world and chatting with God, to inquire of Him. It requires that we have daily fellowship, studying and meditating on His word, so that we can familiarize ourselves with His voice and His ways. Beloved, to hear from God, we must come up higher, above the noise. Separate yourself from the crowd, from the opinions of others, from the doubts and thoughts in your own head, and from the lies of the enemy. The prophet Habakkuk, the psalmist David, and many other prophets in the Bible, demonstrated a key principle in our dealings with God, which is that we must seek for His opinion always. We must acknowledge Him and inquire of Him for direction in every situation. Precious one, are you in confusion about a particular dilemma? Are you in distress and in need of an answer? Are you at a crossroads and don't know which way to go? Beloved, come up higher. Set your face towards God. Drown the noise around you and inquire of God. Listen for the voice of God. He will definitely speak and when He does, let us trust His leading and we will surely have victory. Shalom. Our memory verse is taken from Judges chapter 18 verse 5 to 6 from the NIV version. Then they said to him, Please inquire of God to learn whether our journey will be successful. The priest answered them, Go in peace. Your journey has been Lord's approval. Amen. Please let us pray. Our Master and Lord, we thank you for this reminder that we must always seek for your way, for your word and for your thoughts concerning the situations in our lives. Papa, we pray for the grace to retreat, that we may seek what you're saying, that we may seek your opinion and we will seek your voice in every situation in our lives. Please grant us the grace to drown all other voices, that we may hear your voice and obey it. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Thank you beloved for tuning in today for the morning glory devotion. Please stay tuned for more spirit-filled content and have a blissful day. Shalom.
