Hannah Glasse

Hannah Glasse, a renowned cookery writer from England in the 18th century, is best known for her successful cookbook, The Art of Cookery made Plain and Easy. This cookbook was first published in 1747 and quickly gained popularity, being reprinted within its first year of publication. It went on to be published in 20 editions throughout the 18th century and remained in circulation until 1843.
