LIVING AN EFFECTIVE CHRISTIAN LIFE

I believe that everyone needs to maximize their time and potential. Taking positive advantage of every availed opportunity and chance. Reality says there are only few things that impact or affect the rest. Somebody said one day, we've given organizations. It is few people that make decisions for everyone else. The same applies again. Possibly it's few things that determine what you are or what you shall become in the future. Matthew chapter 8 verse 19 says, And the scribe came up and said to him, Master, I will accompany you wherever you go. Jesus replied to him and said, Foxes have holes, And the birds of the air have lodges. But the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head. Another of the disciples said to him, Lord, let me go first and bury my father. But Jesus said to him, Follow me and leave the dead to bury their own dead. Jesus sounded so difficult and insensitive. But that was more of an object lesson for us now. The incident happened. It's not fiction. But Jesus wanted to paint a picture, a very serious one for us. It was a serious thing not to go and bury your parent. Very serious in the nature. But he wanted them to translate the seriousness of that understanding to the seriousness of following Jesus. And this takes us to the first point, living an effective Christian life. Number one, you must stay focused. You must stay on course. Don't be derailed either by opposition or celebration. In comparison, it is easier to handle opposition than managing being celebrated. Especially for those who are immature. Opposition makes us most of the time to go to God. And being celebrated usually challenges self to take the glory. So it's very important if we are to live effective Christian life that we stay focused. Self most of the time is very dangerous if not well managed. It may lead to the emergence of self and flesh. Remember that the Bible says the enemy, the devil, roams around seeking whom he may give away. Sometimes when we make it big, and immaturely we start celebrating the wrong way, the enemy then pounces on us. I have seen people losing their faith after a visitation from above. Nehemiah was able to handle Tobiah and Zanpalat. He managed them here in their opposition. Moses managed Pharaoh's madness. Jesus conquered the madness of the Pharisees. But Lucifer could not manage himself. The devil says, I will ascend to the throne. I will be like God. The Bible says, in the same vein, Adam could not manage his very self. The enemy deceived them and said, if you eat of the tree, you shall be like God. And Adam could not subdue. His great hunger and thirst for significance. Adam wanted to be like God. And then he took a shortcut. But the deception of the enemy is so bad. And surely Adam and Eve were just like God. You know when the devil wants to mess with you, he promises you what you already have. But I thank God because the Bible says, now we are encouraged to be like Jesus. Judas himself could not suppress his hunger for significance. At the expense of destiny, he ended up selling his Lord. The book of Revelation shows the foundations of the city Jerusalem having seven layers, foundations, precious stones. And it talks about the twelve gates. Twelve gates, twelve layers of foundations. And the prophet says, every gate and every foundation has a name. The names of the patriarchs. But imagine what happened in the Old Testament or the picture of what the Lord was going to do in the New Testament. Judas lost his position as a disciple because he wanted significance. Sometimes people lose their grace, the anointing of God over their lives because they cannot manage being celebrated. Some people cannot manage a breakthrough. 1 Timothy 1 verse 19 holding fast to the faith and having a good conscience. By rejecting and trusting from them, some individuals have made a shipwreck of their faith. 1 Timothy 6 verse 10 For the love of money, not money itself, but the love of money is a problem. It makes other people to kill. Some people even sell their own flesh and blood in order to get money. It's not money. It's the love of money. The Bible says for the love of money is the root of all evil. It is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many acute pangs. But as for you, O men of God, flee from all these things. Aim and pursue righteousness. If you are to lead effective Christian life, we must stay focused. Lord, every open door is opened by God. Sometimes the government opens a seemingly great door, but some of the doors will eat your life. The Bible says sometimes that any way the devil presents himself is an angel of light. But we must be prayerful. We must be discerning because we are caught by what you love and eat. Celebrate your victories well. Lord drank wine and then incest was birthed. Noah drank wine and slept naked. And so one of his descended line was cast, Canaan. And it's because you are trying to celebrate the victories of the living living an effective Christian life. Before you jump into the car, check the source. Before you jump into the house, check the source. The Lord will give you blessings. The Lord will push you to significance. But it is not every door that comes from the living door. I am going to make it in life. That's not you will make it. But I declare today I will not sell my estate. I will not sell my bed right because of significance. I will not sell my bed right because I am a wife thief and some other kind. But people have heard that they have moved around the wilderness. They are tired of the wilderness because it's free. That's why I strongly believe that on my tree I will go and come to a suitable where we will declare to speak. And it will come to pass I remember once when we were right here I told them during Bible study the time when we were talking about crossing over that Israel had to cross over and they had to borrow even though they were living. The Bible says when they crossed over they left with all the gold in Egypt. And as we said that there is another lady that was right in here. She began to say to herself I have the people that are owing me. They must pay me back. And she said as you were preaching in fundi am I in contact? I say to you today it is not every door that you must go into. It is not every door that you must walk into. What is going on here? When the Russians are in trouble that is why we arise in self-service and begin to declare that which is of God so that the people of Jordan will not miss the path in the name of Jesus. The Bible says when Moses threw down the rod it did not die but it is so unfortunate that with the body of deliverance the people of Jordan they threw their rod but we are not shaken. Another time when the enemy shows up we said we have to say bye-bye. We are not going straight.
