The Trying Times podcast is hosted by two comedians who love rugby but often feel the sport doesn't love them back. Mir Mai and Jack Dolan are diehard fans who are looking for more people to talk rugby with, even if they only vaguely know them. They want to find out who truly supports the game, who is just jumping on the bandwagon for fun, or who simply hates rugby. Hello. Welcome to Trying Times, where two comedians tackle the sport they love that doesn't always love them back. A.K.A. Rugby. I'm Mir Mai. And I'm Jack Dolan. And we're two diehard fans who need more friends to talk rugby with. So we plan on using any excuse to talk rugby with people we vaguely know. And we're looking to see who's a patron of the game, or a bandwagon fan looking for a good time, or just really hate the sport.
