The podcast discusses the controversial figure Andrew Tate and his views on men's mental health. One guest agrees with some of his points about men needing to fight for themselves, while the other guest agrees with his emphasis on fitness and protecting loved ones but disagrees with his religious views. The podcast also explores the controversy surrounding Tate being labeled as misogynistic, with one guest pointing out that his views on women do not align with the definition of misogyny. The conversation touches on the division and lack of unity in society today, and the idea that modernity encourages weakness by trying to meet everyone's needs at a low standard. The importance of self-improvement and fitness is also discussed. Welcome back everyone to another installment our fourth installment in the series the war on men men's mental health Me being your host Giovanni Martinez with two new guests of Richard Martinez And so Mexican 96 for the purposes of this podcast our second guest will keep his identity private In order to protect himself from any future challenges consequences Cancellation I mean right off the bat from there that shows you how we have to be careful talking about this very topic because it's So sensitive that shouldn't even be the case. Why should we be scared of talking about something like this one? It's something that needs to be talked about more. I'm gonna get into it I'm assuming you guys have heard of a man by the name of Andrew Tate. He's become a very popular figure in Modern media today very controversial indeed a whole bunch of hate being spread around his name But then there are some that say he's spreading a positive message I understand you two are from very different age age groups Richard Tell us a little bit about yourself and how and do you know Andrew Tate? And what are some of the views that have personally affected you in your life? Richard I'm a sophomore and I I I've seen entertain like Throughout the media Instagram things like that and like reels tiktoks from friends He's his name is spread like wildfire honestly and I Have seen some of his podcasts and I can see why people can Disagree with some of his points and also agree with his points Me personally There are some points that I do agree with but there are also other points that I don't agree with What are some of the points that you agree with a man should like fight for himself since? Honestly a man's life is really hard No one else is gonna be there for them. So they had to fight for themselves. They had to be independent They had to control their own lives What makes you say that a man's life is hard? They have to take a whole bunch of responsibility they got kids they got wives they had to work jobs Blue collar jobs things like manual labor white collar jobs. They can also like Mentally burn you out. Do you think others kids in your school think like you it's hard to tell honestly but there are a lot of students in my school that usually the girls that don't agree with his ways and then Some of the boys, I don't know if they fully agree with them since they're usually joking around but a Few I might I think a few of them might take up seriously That's very interesting. Now that we have a viewpoint from high school students high school sophomores point of view We want to turn over to a much older group What are your thoughts on entity Yeah, so for Andrew T. Yeah, I have heard of him I've heard of him on Instagram. I don't go on Instagram much, but then you know, he just started popping up here and there here And there I saw a couple other friends repost his his reels his tick-tock videos, whatever and For the most part I would say I agree with I'd say like 90 to 80 percent of what he says You know, I do think he he fights for mental health within men and You know getting your getting your money, right getting your fitness, right protecting your loved one's family Things like that. Those are the things that I think are important some other things Maybe not so much. I've seen Some things that he's posted about more so like religion and That's that's where I kind of draw the line and not just because I Don't consider myself a religious person More so spiritual but just because one is not religious Doesn't mean you're a bad or evil person and he imposes a lot of pressure on you Imposes a lot of religious views and he says that his God is It's not the God that it's I don't even know how to explain it the way the way I saw it but he said something around the lines that God is That's like certain rules and standards that should be followed and that makes humanity move forward which to a certain extent Yeah, I agree God is a Source of power and and direction that even though it might not exist just the concept of God Helps a lot of people move in a safe and sound Direction very interesting take now Building on that like I mentioned earlier. There's a widespread controversy on him saying that agitate is Misogynistic and there are some youtubers that go around Going to agitate haters and saying what about him is exactly Misogynistic and they don't have they don't really they don't even know what the word misogyny means in your guys personal opinion. Why? Why is he becoming so well? Our guests on my scene 96 already responded. He in his belief. He feels that agitate spreads his Religion he pushes his religion in some of his beliefs when I want to turn to you Richard Why do you believe that agitate has become as controversial as he has even though he's spreading this positive message That he's giving to young men today like yourself, you know, there's the feminists that You know, they have this movement like freedom of speech this and that but like The Feminists want to reach a certain goal a certain way and entertain wants to reach a Similar goal, but in a different manner that the feminists don't like which is why? the Media portrays them as misogynistic since it isn't like the standard viewpoint I've actually seen reels of Longer videos and on Instagram That in that, you know, the people just go and interview random people on the street asking Oh Is Andrew Tate Misogynistic and Their immediate response is yes but then the second question that the interviewer ask is define misogynistic and their definition is Not what the definition actually is and from my understanding and I've found some research myself just simply Google misogynistic and the definition like the hatred of women and I've seen some other reels where he says that he's not a misogynistic that he loves women and They should be protected and you know given That men should give everything for them. So I don't think that shows What misogynistic is and I think? That's not so you to your podcast of the attack on men. That's I don't know what they're attacking like they're Attacking some obscure idea. That's not even There they're saying he's misogynistic, but he's saying the complete opposite that women should be cared for and protected I actually brought that point up in my second episode Talking about how there is an invisible hand behind the scenes pulling the strings using the technique of divide-and-conquer Because if people are too busy fighting themselves, then they won't be able to look at the bigger picture and in this case The the biggest war that someone can have is the two genders against each other so men and women and Like you said, they don't even know what they're attacking for anymore I really don't know what it is. I'm being completely honest, but I so from what I've you know learned and Taking some some courses in college Was that there was a lot of movement and reading books, you know Malcolm X autobiography Dr. King what I saw back in the 60s, I would assume is the fact that they the African-american black community Moved as a unit and attacked for civil rights now You can't fight for Black Lives Matter You know race equality you can't fight for Lgbtq rights Everyone's in a certain box everyone's Latino male Hispanic Female black man Asian woman everyone is categorized in a certain thing and that that's that's where I see that there's some sort of division and We can't accomplish, you know Civil rights, I guess per se quotation marks because we're all divided. We can't move forward Without someone getting hurt, you know back then it you know both black Men Hispanic men Hispanic woman black woman Would merge together and fight for civil rights no matter if they were gay lesbian or whatever Different races there were they knew that they were moving as a unit and fighting for civil rights No matter because they they saw the bigger picture but now it's like there's no movement because Everyone's oh, no, you offended me. You can't do that because you offended this person this person So then how is there any how how how are we supposed to build momentum if everyone's divided? Oh, no I'm not associated with them. I'm not associated with them. That's my thinking But again, I don't know what the to your point what the invisible hand is, but there is some sort of division going on I also brought up a point in not in another podcast, but in one of My college courses where I had to pick a topic and I want to say that modernity encourages weakness and in that I mean like you said everyone is separated in their own little boxes and People want to be included with one another but by Everyone wanting to be included one another and not accepting their differences. They come up with one ultimate I want to say standard and That standard will have to be really low in order to meet everyone's needs and in doing so that makes everyone weak Creating a weak system that we are all growing up into we're not us, but anyone younger than us For example, there was a from the podcast changed my mind This youtuber he goes on college campuses and public areas and he puts a very controversial sign up saying changed my mind Saying that I believe it was women shouldn't be in the military that they created a general neutral test for the military where 70% of women failed and only I think 6% of men failed. Yeah, I remember that I Saw that real too. It was He was um, I don't know. He's similar to Jordan Peterson. Yeah, well you said about the military if We have like weak a weak power mindset or whatever then we aren't capable of moving forward and Whatever aspect of life. I'm glad that you mentioned Jordan Peterson because he also has a whole bunch of podcasts where he's saying men specifically should be Formidable because and then once you become formidable you must be able to master yourself because I truly believe that Most effective way to move forward about life is To work on your on your body than your mind. Obviously, it would be Preferred to work on both of them at the same time but in most realistic situations you know you have to as a man you have to be able to have the strength to Endure all the all the hardships that life brings on you and most of the time they are physical in one way or another Whether it is trying to get money you have to work you have to work a whole bunch You want to get a wife you have to work? You you want to look good. You have to work and then After all that then that's when you have to strengthen your mind Like I said, obviously it's prefer to be able to strengthen both at the same time What are you guys thoughts on Jordan Peterson if you've heard of him? Well, he's almost smart. He's a psychologist. So he studied He's a human mind so he shouldn't know like when people are put in certain situations He usually knows why people react a certain way or like their mental state. They might have gone through some stuff. So He's a knowledgeable person So he shouldn't know a lot. He's a professor. I want to like a very prestigious University. I believe a deal. I'm not completely sure But yeah, I think He's very knowledgeable You know, it's not someone just speaking out of thin air. It's someone that has gone to school and you know, it's like most I guess philosophers they have an idea and studied Ideas and concepts with time and experience and make him I guess Make him have the credentials to be able to speak on things Due to our time constraints, I also want to give a quick mention to a couple of other controversial People and a specific movement actually such as sneak. Oh, he's also a Widely known podcaster who tried who tries to he tries to spread the word on the red pill movement as well as fresh and fit Another podcast series if you haven't watched them, you should definitely go check them out. The red pill movement is uh, if you guys don't know It's a callback to the Matrix movie saying that the red pill awakens you and lets you see what's real and That's where I'm going we're all of this because the war on men like I mentioned in my previous episodes It's not just about a war of genders, but it's a war of ideals There's like I mentioned before there's an invisible hand pulling the strings and this red pill movement is really trying Not only trying to strengthen men and becoming better men it's trying to awaken them and help them realize that Help them open their eyes that there's there's more to this than simply putting men down But in putting men down that's the very first step into effectively conquering The rest of I want to say the world once they're able to put men down They go after the next vulnerable, which is male boys and then they take out the children then they're left the woman They're left defenseless. We have a war ahead of us the one man. We need to wake up man We need to do what's right. We need to work hard keep pushing through any final thoughts for you guys We start at zero really Certain economical Base Set a foundation for yourself You know go to go to school get a job those are building a career and you have to build that up You know, that's you don't get that one day to the next it takes time With all of this that's happened. Well, especially in the last two years with you know, Kovat and all The world really changed a lot compared to what I saw back when I was Younger back in 2018. Everything used to be different everyone. They were diverse but they were Unified if you know what I mean They didn't hate each other for their own opinions or beliefs. They Live together in peace, but ever since it all went down for 2020 to right now everything changed Once again, thank you guys for being on my podcast Hopefully this will not be our final installment of this series. We will continue this podcast and grow it and Expect to catch us possibly on Spotify or any other audio platforms possibly YouTube and bringing out video along with this and Thank you guys for sticking around and listening and I hope you guys enjoyed see you guys in the next one You
