Viet part 2

In her paper, the author describes encountering many vulnerable and neglected individuals who were treated as if they were worthless. These people were seen as unimportant and a burden on society. Hi, it's Viet again. Later in her paper, she says, and I quote, I encountered during the last three months, many poor creatures wandering reckless and unprotected, end quote. She compares them to creatures because that's how people have treated or that's how people treated them. Many people back in that time treated them like creatures because they were not useful and were considered a waste of resources.
