Frederick Herman Tilberg

Frederick Herman Tilberg, who lived from November 14, 1895, to June 17, 1979, was a renowned historian specializing in the Civil War. During the 1950s and 1960s, he served as the Chief Historian for the Gettysburg National Military Park.
