Snowy Owl Frank Renfrow Copyright 1991. I wrote this song in the early 1980s when a Snowy Owl showed up in winter atop a factory building in Sharonville, Ohio. I have seen many since, and they often show up in the darndest places. They have little fear of people as they come down from the Arctic Tundra in winter when their prey is scarce up North.
