Fillion Bible

Louis-Claude Fillion (1843-1927) was a notable book author who made significant contributions in the field of Scripture and Hebrew. After being ordained as a priest in 1867, Fillion became a professor, specializing in these subjects. In recognition of his expertise, he was appointed to the Catholic Institute of Paris in October 1893, where he held the prestigious role of chair of exegesis of Scripture. Fillion's remarkable knowledge and understanding of the biblical texts led to his appointment as a member of the esteemed Pontifical Biblical Commission a decade later. Throughout his career, Fillion's translations have played a crucial role in making important works accessible to a wider audience.
