We're all here to hear from the superstar himself But before we bring them on I want to show a just a little clip here We're so excited we're here in Los Angeles and look who we're hanging out with Look who I'm hanging out with I'm hanging out with Mario and Franny and the reason I am is because I asked him to come to LA Because there's some things I'm wanting to talk to other leaders about to just get their input and their advice and To the people I thought were these two beautiful friends of mine because there have been other times They share things with me this helped me to grow and I just want you to know in your group You're so fortunate to have leaders like this. They're my friends. I know they're your friends too, but they're terrific leaders Wow Wow, man, that's awesome. I'm John Maxwell one of the greatest coaches ever in fact Forbes magazine calls him the leader of the decade and And check this out. I don't think John hangs around with Drake, but Mario does and You know that so Mario's with the coach of the decade the artist of the decade That's what happens when you become a superstar and you work your butt off to make things happen Think about this 1,200 recruits a month a million dollars of premium a month Everybody's excited about ownership. You get to 300,000 you own your business. Well, how about this? He gets ownership every month 300,000 a month. I'm super excited to have and be able to introduce my good buddy Mario Arizona Bye. Thanks for coming on with us this morning I know you've got a busy busy life. And so anytime you give to us is a real blessing. Thanks, buddy Thank you so much Brad. I really appreciate it and the LF I see I love what this stands for a team That's United that helps out that just like what's best for the company Eagle free leadership, man Not that really. Oh, man, that glorifies God to a whole nother level to be honest with you guys I'm honest with you guys unity and that's what we are that no, we're not perfect We don't have it yet, but we're practicing. We're getting better. We're saying hey this works for me Hey, you can try this that guy's a company United like that With the leadership that says ego free leader. My goodness There's nobody no company no industry that can stop us guys Look, you need to understand this that your energy is so darn important. See that this is everything Oh, I'm just not that way guys I at least be that way when you're in front of the screen at least be that way up there again Show that you're excited and I don't mean crazy like me. Okay guys, but it shows some enthusiasm. Let them feel your heart I was talking to one of my guys like Mario He was like man. I can feel like man when you get like, how do you do when you speak? Sometimes you get emotional. I'm like, dude, I don't fake it. I'm not an actor. You know what I do. I replay in my head Chico I replay in my hair had that exact moment how it's feeling and it gets me emotional Because man I could have doing the towel so many darn times and the saddest thing is there's so many people on here That are gonna settle for a life. They never wanted They're gonna do that. They're gonna be convinced. Look at this guy. I had something. I just posted this This is powerful says the saddest site in the world is seeing a human be settled for the life They never wanted because they listen to others who did the same How many times do we do that Hey guys, you gotta ask yourself. What type of individual are you? What type of individual are you? Are you this person that when you walk into a room, right? I'm serious when you when you walk into the room, it's dark All right guys, or are you the person when you walk into a room you light up the room you light up the room Man something's different. Hey guys, you gotta be contagious that people want to follow you How do you do that being a man or woman in your word? This is super important It's the little things you think it's the big obvious things are holding you back from being a giant. No, it's the little things You need to understand this that tornadoes and hurricanes get all the news press they get all the media But termites do more damage than hurricanes and tornadoes combined It's not the big obvious things that are holding you back. It's the little things that you're not doing every day It's the five to stay alive. It's that one little extra call. It's that one extra prospect It's that appointment that you don't want to do when you don't feel like it and you do it Anyways, those little things compound You need one thing that I got that. Ah, I get it I never understood that winners show up early and leave what late see show up early Leave late Show up early leave late. It's those little things that what time start compounding and Separate you see what I'm going to what I'm going to show you guys is what I do this was our absolute secret weapon on how to retain people and And and this is how we can stay connected. I'm Franny and I are going on a crazy run right now Rebuilding to taking our base shops, you know to 100,000 plus we've been averaging a hundred by hundred base shop for over a decade by the way If we're talking about decades, we've been averaging that over a decade Promoted out a bunch of RVT's man got the privilege and the honor to Purchase some businesses, but honestly, it's like I purchased the family Like I paid money to adopt family that belong. I really believe that belong with Franny and I from day one It was God's plan from day one. See guys. There's a big difference between a good plan and God's plan huge difference see a Good plan you can mess up But a God's plan not even you can mess that up Because it is divine. It was meant to happen and then I'm so darn excited to be leading this new group of leaders That join our family to go to a whole nother level and and I'm excited about this guys This is this is what we would do Aracela and I'm going to get back on this I'm gonna get back on this because I'm actually starting this week where I do a new orientation class and I lost a man You need to understand this chief. I'm not exaggerating bro. There's people that are saying like hey I'm not gonna do this business I'm not doing this business. I'm out. I'm quitting whatever this is sure But the but you just got to be in front of Mario his orientation class and after that you can quit We'll show you how to get your refund all that stuff. Whatever. He's like, okay great. They sit in that class and They leave on cloud nine. They're crying. They're going up to me man I almost gave up on my dreams like my goodness. I give them the speech, you know Like don't you let nobody steal your I let it rip and in person right and really what the heck is this Some people get freaked out and some people get turned on by this is amazing This is what I was looking for, right? So look, this is what I had Mario Mario John here. Yes They told you 30 minutes. You got to do what you do if this goes over and someone has to leave they need to leave This is one of the great talks I've ever seen you give so I don't want you to rush this We'll record it if people have to leave right at 130. They can go. I'm not going to close out You're going to close out do your thing here because this is so powerful and so important So I didn't want to interrupt but I don't know I was I was just telling air feeling This is like an hour presentation, but I'll skip the themes. So I'm gonna do it So Eric see I got permission from the the man himself, so I'm gonna let it rip guys So be ready, but let me with Mario do it. Hey, I need you guys, by the way Even the people on the screen I need your participation And I let them know this look Imagine I invite you over John and you're over my house and we're having a one-on-one conversation And I ask you a question and all you do John is just stare at me Wait a minute. I ask you another question and all you do is just stare at me dude That's I don't care how many times I've done this this is gonna be extremely awkward What do I need from you? I need participation. I know it's not cool to participate. I know it Well, that's not me raise my hand participate, but you're not gonna retain this You're literally gonna waste an hour of your time. You wasted my time Let's take your cool jacket off. And this is a cool jacket because it's my why Jack Oh, you can't see it because the darn blur thing, but this is my let me see me Take this off. This is I don't take off your your cool jacket. All right guys, but this is super important All right, and you know what? Because look look at this. This is this is my my why jacket, right? It is a cool jacket. I have my family in here my team in here That's how I wear my my my jackets because I wear my wine with me all the time for I can remember it So let me tell you something guys I don't take your cool jacket off if you can't be fired up if you can't be excited in this environment That's this group of leaders that want to win. You don't have a shot out there This is where you get excited It's crazy that we get up on our feet and we cheer on for these sports teams, but we won't do it for our own life Guys, we need to change that those guys are ready making millions. What about your family? I'm gonna teach you what you need to do to have a million dollar business if that's what you want Is it gonna be easy? No Right, this would probably be the toughest thing you ever do but let me tell you something the most rewarding The absolute most rewarding and I let them know that up front and look at this. This is super important Okay, what what makes the business successful? Number one number one. There's got to be demand. All right, and I don't say demand and they say demand with me Okay, look life insurance over a hundred Million Adult Americans either have no insurance or under insured Okay, is there a big need classes? Yes. Okay. Look at this Debt elimination auto and home insurer insurance. I need that return. We do all those things There's a little me. There's a big need see you don't have let's say we showed you on the presentation all that stuff You don't have $10,000. Don't worry about it. Look at this. Can you put $50 away a week? What if you're 25 to 65 and you start doing that? I had a 3% of 185,000. All right at a 6% 398,000 but what if you're one of those few there's smart. So, you know what Mario even if this is not for me I want the education. I'm gonna be dealing with money my whole life. Why not get paid to get my investment license Why not get paid? What it makes sense. What did it make sense to get paid? To get license Meaning you get paid on your own investments Are you like you don't depend on someone else if they're telling you the truth you manage your own money, but yes Again, we get their securities license this way super important Look at this if you do that and you learn how to manage your own money and get mutual funds 10% that's 1.2 million, you know, there's mutual funds that have been averaged only 12% for longer than you've been alive 2.3 million a little difference or a huge difference. There's a huge see some of you guys You're thinking the wrong way. Well, you know, I don't know if I'm gonna talk to my family and friends How sad would it be? How sad would it be that John you got this information? You've got license you apply this you have 2.3 million dollars and your brother Still have to work. There's nothing And he looks at you and he's like, hey Tom, wait a minute. We made around the same money You know, we spent around the same amount. We live around the same neighborhood. How are you a millionaire? And I'm broke. I have to work to the day. I die Well, I I didn't want to bother you But back then I sat down with this guy told me how to get my finances in Orcas. You don't want to bother me Dude, that is That is selfish Also, you like you mean I have to work for the rest of my life and you get to travel the world with your family Thanks, man. What a true brother you are See guys what we're showing like you don't want to have that conversation How many people need to know how money works? How many people need to know what compound interest is did they teach us this in school? Of course not if you don't show them this who will when the last time someone in the bank said don't you show you how? To retire wealthy how you can create generational wealth, but only $50 a week No one guys. That's why what we do matters and look this can be you This is a friend that this and I'm not picking a specific count But look, this is just this is an actual investment that you can actually do if your securities license And if you're not asked ask your trainer, hey, do you think this is a good one? Or what do you recommend? Specifically picking on that but look at this guys. What is you invested? $500 a month From 19 to this this couple just an example. They they reach the age of a 40 and they're like, I mean And they're like, wait a minute. Wait a minute. We have nothing saved up. This is crazy This is crazy. What's going on? So let me just show you an example from 1976 to 1995 look at look at this guys if they started doing this They invested a total of two hundred and ten thousand dollars out of their pocket, okay guys, this is what they did And look what happens here in this in this scenario here. Okay, it's less than 35 years I don't know what happened there, but just the example they invested that look at this. They withdrew 85 first of all two hundred and ten thousand dollars enough for retirement. They always say no Look at this. They withdrew $85,000 a year With a 4% pay raise to keep up with inflation not these days. Okay, it's crazy for the next 25 years They withdrew 3.5 million Guys this a little deal or a big deal the whole crowd response big deal They put in 210. They withdrew in just interest 3.5 million. What do you think? They have left over? They should be negative. I agree. Even if they're negative. Is this an Unbelievable plan you put in 210 took out 3.5. Everyone says absolutely Try 2.8 million dollars left over See what we do matters You're thinking like I was thinking in the beginning like who is everyone gonna think about me? Oh, man I'm gonna make money off them. What is my family and friends guys? This benefits them way more than it benefits you it's not even close the commission you make on this compared to what they get It's not even close if they make a decision to reject this That's not on you no more. That's on them when you when you're wealthy and you're set That was their fault and they chose not to do that. Well, at least it's off your shoulders. This is a big darn deal See what makes the business successful there's got to be stability guys We're a member of the New York Stock Exchange. Not just anyone gets there. See guys. This is crazy This came on CNBC the first five years the S&P 500 the top 500 companies in America Their performance was 74% 74% growth and in those five years, you know was ours 158% this is not me saying this. This is on CNBC live how much growth we have, you know in two and two thousand in 2010 there is a there's two major companies that one public Actually, the the number there. There is there is a company named Tesla. Yes from Illinois Tesla. I won't say yes There's only one company that outperformed Tesla Yes us Lift that up We're the only company. We're the number one IPO company. That is crazy. They're a public-traded company that year That's unbelievable. And look guys ever since then the stock has kept on going up right guys Unbelievable. I'm a kid from Pacoima, California Guys, this is like 15 20 minutes away from Los Angeles from the hood and my wife actually grew up in Los Angeles She's from Compton. All right, she's a Compton baby. She has straight out of Compton on her back. Okay guys, I'm just kidding She hates when I say that but it's true now she is from Compton think about that a Little girl from Compton little boy from Pacoima. They just have big dreams. They wanted to win so darn bad That was just hungry that just wanted a shot that I didn't want to don't tell me what I want to hear Tell me what I needed to hear guys Tell me exactly what I gotta do. I wanted to win so bad if I have to work 12 hours a day I would do it 14 hours a day. I would do it. I wanted to get my family to a whole nother level I was sick and tired of being in poverty This was it and I you know what happened I thought John when I joined on my oh my goodness I couldn't sleep Aristida, I remember I couldn't sleep. I was like, this is it I'm gonna change my family tree further. This is it like do that the Arizona family will never Associate with poverty anymore. Like I'm gonna break the chains of poverty. I'm the one God chose me God chose me. I'm the one This is God's plan. And I'm like, man, I'm gonna I'm gonna save as much as my friends. I'm like, man, this is it Man, hey, man, I googled my miracle. You guys are one of those things, huh? Now I'm cool. I'm cool. Thank you for me. I'm cool Till I did I got sick of it I'm like you cool Or you're living at home You're asking your mom for money, how is that cool? Instead of helping your mom you're asking her for money you're taking from her. How is that cool? Yeah, it's not cool, bro. That's embarrassing And I'm not saying respond. I was one of my friends as he's cool. And guess what? He finally moved out of his house with his mom. He works at a factory join Eventually he joined but he quit his mom discouraged him not to do this. His mom told him don't do that It's one of those things. She got me a stack of papers my goodness a stack of papers that was like like this thick like do like stack of like Look at that scam that Mario you were in and throw it on the desk and not for him to quit It's on the top. I said bro, you do not want to quit I have a fire in me right now that you wouldn't believe You know, I'm just telling you I don't know what but guys I had a desire in me that I was gonna be the youngest Million-dollar earner in company history. I just I don't know why but God planted that in me. See God There's there's a good idea and there's God ideas, right? There's a good plan and there's God's plan even me I couldn't stop that you guys gotta understand that and guys it was impossible at the time We have the capability so much faster you can do it so much better now guys the last gas Money, I had man I would spend on appointments and out sometimes I don't watch to the next appointment cuz I ran out of gas money You don't have to do that. Now. It is so much better The only thing is guys it's a double-edged sword. A lot of people are so darn weak these days unbelievable America and Canada needs leadership like never before that's why it's never been easier to win because Everybody they're like cheap right now It is Unbelievable and if you stand up and you educate yourself when it comes to money when it comes to business when it comes to Leadership, you will be unstoppable You will be that light like we are that light for a team for a family for a church for our friends. This is it I'm not gonna teach you how to be a good father. I'm gonna teach you how to be a leader of leaders That's why you're here. And let me tell you something the moment you Google Arrowhead water life Look at this like 57 million people saying that's the best life worth living or should I blast myself? We'll keep putting two pots over here think about that. There's a complaint about life post office, right? Anything look at this guy's if you look it up women 42 million complaints about women don't be worse than that. Look at this guy's 15 million complaints about men Look at anything mother Teresa her whole purpose in life was just to serve people and she she literally just Served orphans and helped out people and and fed them and shelter them That's that's all her Almost look at this guy's almost 700,000 complaints about mother Teresa Guys, look at this puppies come almost 800,000 complaints about puppies guys No matter what you look for you're gonna see complaints If you're a look if you're a big company, it's gonna happen You know many people think that they join this business and they're gonna be millionaires tomorrow Then they're gonna make money this much guys what business think about this ask anyone that has the business the first two three years They don't make no money They are investing for one day. They can have a great business. I can take care of their their their family forever Guys, you can start making money with us right away not millions of dollars. That doesn't exist It's not a get-rich-quick, and I'm sorry if you think that's who you joined. That's not who we are We have a hundred and twenty plus million dollar earners in this company You can't tell me all of them are better than you. They're just more committed than you They just look guys when someone gives up on their goals and dreams It's two things either they're never near their purpose or they forgot their purpose And you hang out with people that have purpose Guess what starts happening you discover yours You start having you start hanging around people that have vision you start getting vision see guys the world is two ways fearful doubt Anger everything's going to hell or face Good Just a Gratitude about life about God about family about how blessed we are You choose God gives us free will You hang around people that fear doubt all that stuff That's how you view the world you hang around people that have faith and have an attitude of gratitude that has vision That's contagious too, and that's who you become You Figure out what type of leader I am There's no way you're going to be around someone like me and I'm not going to recharge your batteries I'm not going to show you how to be better. This is super important. See what makes the business successful Okay guys look at this Warren Buffett Warren Buffett Network hundred and twelve billion dollars you can look this up. It's company Berkshire Hathaway. Look at this We rate my America as a by Look at this guy dick and by the way, the people that took his advice more than doubled his money This is the article you can find yourself This is crazy And I'm John there is a guy there isn't a building that that we're leasing before and I got tired out So I bought my own building ready and I said, yes it we bought our own building Now we have a building a total square feet of 20,000 that we own it is free John You gotta come see our office dude. It is the tree. I think I have a midlife crisis at 35 I literally dropped three million dollars into that they aren't building like crazy I'm like it is like the sickest building ever the LED screen everything we put into our people we invest and I want you To see this guy's it's crazy. All right, and I did that and then the pandemic happened We couldn't use the damn office freaking hilarious, right guys, but it is what it is. Hey God's plan That's all I trust in but there is this guy that worked at Wells Fargo Well far right next to us always complain. You guys are too loud. Take the parking. That's what we bought the dang building Okay, but look at this. This is something guess what? Like oh, yeah, I'm one of those things. Oh from America Well, I could things like that come bro. What are you talking about? Your company Wells Fargo. Look at that. I showed him this I went on there and I showed him that but your company Almost almost look at this 745 thousand shares almost a hundred million dollars invested in our company. Oh Dude that's awesome. Yeah that thing their research Remember, I told you guys the saddest thing in the world that guy's settled that guy's Someone paid him enough money to put his goals and dreams to the side and he said and you know what he does He convinces other people to do the exact same thing Be careful With those people that's saying that your mom's been telling you that your grandparents been telling you are who you hang around with is So darn true Make sure you hang around dreamers. Make sure you hang around people have faith to have vision and that's what this team has But you've got to be willing to learn guys you and I show them all the companies that are invested in our companies and Doing this guys and and and this is crazy. I just went through that and people are like, wow, this is crazy I'm like, how many guys back with Bank of America raise your hand. Let me get back with chase raise your hat They're all there. It's crazy. How many guys are your 401k with this comes every time all of those guys are invested in us All of them your mom. That's a teacher. That's saying all this thing don't work because there's the kid in there Look at this California's retirement teachers plan invested in Primerica. This is public information. Look it up. Oh Why would why would all these companies invest in a phony company? No Look at this Forbes America most trusted trusted financial companies. That's a big darn deal Look at this guys. We have 99 out of 100 rings It doesn't get bigger than this one of the highest ratings you can possibly get but yet you still listen to this guy You Know what happened John I did it and whoo Man I remember when I first got started in the business I'm so darn excited. I seem like this is it. I came back from convention and then there was a fire in me I just man I was ready. I remember calling my aunt to set up an appointment. My uncle answered I Love my uncle, but my aunt's the one that's love related with my dad and I answered And I'm like, hey How you doing, um, and I started reading my script I'm going through training right now I'm excited. I'm like, hold on one second training help. I'm going through training I value your opinion. I need your like son. Are you reading the script? Oh, yeah He's like son, I love you Do you understand that I love you you don't have to do a script to come see me Whatever you're selling I will buy you're like a son to me. Okay, come over tomorrow. We ain't doing nothing Dude, I just felt like I could conquer the world. Like are you kidding me? I do I'm like man, you know, I got a fire in me and John I started setting up more appointments with constant I didn't need the script. I'm like doing them. I'm setting up appointments left and right Do my uncle Hector's behind me and he's the center of influence an entire family. I just got a confidence in you That's boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom knocking out appointments Not even an hour later. My aunt calls me back. I already booked out my day. I'm driving from Riverside I'll win a San Fernando Valley, Pacoima. It's an hour an hour and a half with traffic two hours one way and And My aunt calls me and she's like, oh junior, um, how you doing? Hey, make sure you cancel that appointment for tomorrow I'm like, yeah, I can't because this is my first day. I'm doing my training. I'm doing this. I'm finished No, no, no, no, no. No, I know we're doing you're working for some pyramid thing and that's like for illegal immigrants Okay, go get a real job and she hang up the phone on me Yeah, you know what she told me you would do something like that go get a real job and hang up the phone on me Man, John, I was so devastated and she is that family that We gather all the time and his Spanish we freaking party for everything dude. Like we make a holidays the party. Okay, it's just crazy We have like literally every weekend. We have something to get together with like it's crazy She's the house. We're literally going to her house on Saturday. My appointments were on Sunday. I told my dad down I'm like fine, but I'm gonna take my own car because my mom lives down the street My parents separate around with five years of age and guys, we struggle We struggle if you wouldn't believe and I don't know. Okay. Well, I'm gonna go stay with my dad a little bit Dad, I'm gonna go visit my mom. It's fine. Take your own car Got there. My aunt opens the door. Oh my goodness. The most sweetest. She's like I've been wanting to talk to you and I'm like, oh my god. I'm such a jerk I was thinking so bad thoughts like that lady money got to her head Well, like I was thinking like she was just so mean to me and she's like, come on Come on, I want to talk to you and I'm like, you can you do me a big favor? I'm like, yes, but I'm gonna do her a favor if I'm like, yeah, I'm trying to get my three-by-three I'm trying to get promoted the district right so I need a cell you can join my team You don't have to do anything. You don't have to do anything. You don't have to do anything I'm gonna do whatever you want. I thought she was gonna ask for forgiveness because she responded really bad to me And I deserve that. No one does No, she said I really need you to talk to your cousins. I don't know why but you know, it's up to you and He's he's he's thinking He's not gonna go to school and your your uncle and I we work so hard to save money for he can get a job He's not gonna go to school. He's not gonna get a job. He's not gonna get a job. He's not gonna get a job And I told him, you know, he doesn't go to school he's gonna end up like you so can you talk to him? I'm like What? What do you mean? What do you mean? Like what do you mean like me? She's like, you know, come on like me and you were just not like smart like that We're gonna he can actually do something with his life Come on, encourage him. Okay I think I think about it like to this day like I remember getting in my car and just crying man, like man, god Help me prove her wrong And for an hour and a half john, I and then there was traffic. I remember like Dude, I was like crying and people are looking at me. I'm like, oh my god. Oh my god I'm like, oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god I remember like dude, I was like crying and people are looking at me and I wasn't like crying like a little bit I was like ugly crying, you know, like I was so hurt So so hurt that this my mom had me when she was 15 years of age And this lady helped raise me She helped raise me and to talk to me like that like my she's like a second mom I feel like she tore out my heart and just stomped on it And I remember like god, please help me prove her wrong help me prove her wrong like god help me prove it wrong I'm like, no i'm gonna prove you right I had i'm being honest to being guys. Sometimes we don't become successful because your heart's not ready Mentally, you're not mature enough. If god would have gave me all that success fast enough You know what i would have done i'd have been an arrogant punk and say oh, yeah, look at me Look how great I am, you know, uh, i'm making more money than you now like arrogant and that does not glorify god You know what happened took me four years to get to rbp What the great warriors four years? Four years to make a hundred thousand dollars a year four years I wasn't killing it all that stuff. You know what happened? God was waiting for my heart to be right It's god's plan She came over my house. She unfortunately got a divorce all the things happen. She came over my house like oh nice house They were like wow, son. I'm proud of your own house You know like wow, you're doing good. I had my power builder ring like yeah, you're feeling good. I'm like Yeah, you're going to the casino I'm making her feel good. I'm gonna make her feel bad the past of the past and she's like casino No, no, i'm just there to see your dad play. I don't even have money for underwear I'm like what you should have told me. Yeah, uh, like I'm gonna hold on one second, then I took off And I was carrying a little bit of money with me, you know, and i'm like, let's see, you know I'm like how much how much you need? Oh, no, no, no, i'm not asking if i'm like, no, no, how much do you need? How much do you need? Hey, you know what? Let me see. Let me see Okay, i'm like here you go. So no, no, no, no. No, no, here you go. I put it in her pocket And she's like no you can't you can't i'm like no you deserve this I'm successful because of you I didn't tell her why but every time john Every time I wanted to give up when they quit on me every time I got a dark house every time I didn't feel that I was good enough. I would think about what she told me and it gave me fire See some people Think about what she told me and it gave me fire See some people adversity hits them and it breaks some men and some people get adversity and it forces them to break records Man, I use that fire. See I have my goals and dreams. They're on fire And when crap things don't go their way, you know what some people do they throw ice cold water on their goals and dreams And they're done. They settle just like them Got him. He's one of us now Versus uh-uh God gives us free will i'm gonna turn that to lighter fuel That is fuel for my fire And I use that As fuel to light my fire even more. So every time I wanted to quit I remember that moment I remember the pain that I went through Don't let your pain go to waste And not let your pain go to waste utilize it And that's what we did. You know what I give I give her that money. She's like why i'm like just Thank you, just thank you. That's all you need to know. I love you. You know what she did She was trying to give me the money back. She's like, no, no, no, son You know, what's so crazy? I gave up my youth My marriage my health everything for my children and not one time have they offered me one dollar And she said didn't you and she just started crying and hugging again And she just started Oh, it cut off I apologize, uh, but uh, um, she started crying and doing the same thing And and she hugged me and she's like, oh my goodness. You know what god did that year? You know what god did that year? He was testing me. We went from 100 grand to 400 grand Then we went from 400 grand to 1.3 million the following year. Are you kidding me guys? Guys, look your blessing is coming. You know, what's blocking your blessing you you are your heart mentally. You're not there yet You got to change that you got to be around people like that that man you don't have what it takes But you got to understand that there's good ideas and there's god ideas that there's good plans and there's god plans Then not even you can stop it. But guess what? You got to mature your heart. That's why self-improvement is so important That's why this is vital to your success Okay, can I keep on going guys? I know I know. Um, is that okay? All right, perfect Yep, keep going we stopped the slide for a minute so we could see your face a little bit bigger Thank you. I appreciate that. I know you love me, man. Thank you. I like seeing your face too But man guys, why am I telling you this why am I telling you this See, my friend wasn't strong enough to push back on his mom. I said no mom. I want to do this When I got man, john when I got my um, I got the million, uh I got I got to get my dream car. Mike sharp drive the Bentley. So I want to drive Bentley, right? And and guys I shouldn't have got it at that time But I was already making a million had millions days. I'm gonna do it. Mike's like don't get it I'm like, I just want to be like Mike right and I got a Bentley guys I got a Bentley cool coupe Bentley and I showed up to my friend's house And i'm like I did it I told you I was gonna be the youngest son. I did it and she started crying And she's like I stole my son's dream She's like mario. He's so depressed We know you did it We know you did it and he's so depressed. He works at a factory. He doesn't he just goes in and out of his house And and he's so depressed because he was my top guy like he was actually doing better than me But his mom stole his dream And she could she's like don't tell him I give you his number don't tell him because he probably won't answer Don't even tell him I give you his address. But please mario, please Encourage my son to do it again I've never seen him happier when he was with you and he was going after his business and building his dream I've never seen him happy. He's so miserable now. Don't tell him but he's depressed But he's depressed He needs you. I went over there. I'm like, bro Like I did it, but I didn't do it that way Now I know how to do it. You're gonna do it much faster. We got this to this day I'm still waiting for him seven years later Seven years he blocked my number because like eric when you're ready, dude, just come man. I'm here for you Nope He's like bro. I'm just too embarrassed man. I'm just too embarrassed to come back And some people unfortunately guys know that their ego Be bigger than their goals and dreams Forget my ego. It might look guys real men real woman Do what's required little boys little girls act on their feelings? Guys if you're not where you need to be, it don't matter some of you guys are so worried What are people going to think about me? Dude you should be worried about what your immediate family thinks about you If you're not delivering You got to do what it takes and this is a proven business and I get my phone out and I ask siri siri What industry? What industry creates the most millionaires? And it says financial service and I've done even siri knows the problem is you have the greatest opportunity in your hands But someone tells you you can't do it and you believe them Or I heard this about this company and you believe them it's crazy Look at amazon amazon gives you a position to be working there and they say oh amazon this and then destroying business Guess what? Are you gonna quit? Are you not gonna do? Oh, no, that's different Why is that different because you work for somebody else guys? There's nothing like having working for your own name See what makes the business successful? We do what's right 100 percent of the time what's moral ethical and professional we do what's right not with timing No vacuums, no soap on a rope. No juice in a wine bottle. None of that stuff guys This is legitimate what we do. This is super important what we do changes lives When 9-11 happened primary to provide over 10 million dollars over a death benefit to 48 families who lost a loved one When they tell me oh you do that thing. Yes, I do that thing that delivers while these insurance companies back down Well, these insurance companies got underwriters to try they would get paid To deny claims. I'm, sorry, ma'am. Your husband died of suicide We have video of it the building was burning down And people decided to jump instead of burning to death They deny claims I love what we do the company provides Protects over 5.5 million families right now and growing We pay an average of 40 plus death claims every single day But here's the problem 7300 people die every single day in north america We don't have enough agents That's why you're here That's right here. We're going to show you how to do this how to protect families see This is super important that equals to two world trade tragedies a day But a lot of you guys like oh no more I want to get all my licenses I want to get all the credentials before I help my family. That is sad. Imagine you have the cure for cancer Like oh, no, no I want to patent it first so I can make the most money off my family your family's literally dying of financial cancer Guys, you get paid right now while you're learning your trainer explains everything we make you look good We get you recruits into your team business partners into your team. We get you Clients we get your referrals you're learning from the best of the best when your license you're unstoppable Stop thinking selfish play team And that's how you're going to be big and look guys. Um, we talk about the crusade We do what's right 100 of the time i'm not exaggerating this thing. Look at this. These are facts On the news insurance companies are turning their back when we need them the most See, how are we bigger? Then number two and number three and number four company combined those guys sell insurance to make commissions We sell insurance to correct an injustice because we do what's right. Can we sell products that make us more money? Yes, but more money from who from the consumers from your mom from your grandmother from your dad from your grandfather Are you okay with that? I'm not i'm not selling my soul for money. Maybe you're okay with that, but not me I love What we stand for and let me show you this Fishers commissioner mike rossman of the minnesota department of commerce was outraged to learn insurance companies knowingly didn't pay on policies It's unconscionable Uh when an insurance company knows their policy holder has passed away Kept the money and then used it for investment and not pay the beneficiaries the rightful money that they're owed In many cases he says the beneficiary didn't know about the policy the life insurance company had the name and contact information But never contacted them only paying out if a beneficiary filed a claim. It's unfair clearly It's not their money. And so it's tantamount to theft in a way. Are we talking about some of these recognizable names? These are uh the largest brand name National insurance companies throughout the united states the state has settled with metlife john hancock lincoln prudential transamerica axa Jackson national new york life and voya the commerce department found well over 200 million dollars owed to minnesotans So far companies have paid 143 million to beneficiaries Another 31 million ended up with the state as unclaimed property for relatives companies couldn't reach other insurance companies that owe money Are pushing back they say, you know people haven't made claims. Some people may need the money substantially If their loved ones die, this experience has left brad thinking about his own policies Wow And look at this look at the difference john Look at the difference I was pulling up to the gym And this tragedy just happened when they did the las vegas shooting you guys remember that And I have a business phone I have my personal phone my business phone records everything For quality serve like just to make sure everything's good and look at this. Look at this I want you to see this Okay, this is what's happening 7.4 billion out there of insurance companies that they don't pay out. Look at this Let's bring it home CNN breaking news We are following breaking news for you The deadliest mass shooting in u.s History has happened. It happened last night at an outdoor country music festival on the las vegas strip at least 50 people were killed there more than 200 people are injured many of them in critical conditions Okay Hello Uh, is this mario? Yeah, this is marcus dickens Hey mario, this is scott brown. I'm the vice president of the claims department at the home office. How are you today? How are you doing scott? I'm doing good, man. Hey, I just wanted to call and give you a courtesy call and let you know Uh, we have a claim out of the las vegas shooting and it is in your base shop Uh, it's not a person in your base shop. The person in your base shop broke the policy Um, they have not contacted us to set up a claim I wanted to give you guys the the first uh, First go at giving them a call if you wanted to if you don't want to we can call them uh, and you know get the you know, get the information, but I just want to let you guys know and if you wanted to call the Uh, you know the beneficiary and then kind of set that up. That would be fine I had no idea Yeah, I didn't either. Um, the person that wrote it is terminated now Uh that wrote the policy but it was written back in 2002. It was 450 thousand dollars So at least his family's going to be taken care of But just you know, we do a lot of uh, you know preemptive lookups whenever we have big tragedies storms things like that And uh when we actually found this this individual on a search today So I wanted to give you a call and let you know and if you want to reach out to them Um, you know i'll give you the contact info and absolutely what's uh, oh my god, that's horrible Would you like me to would you like me to email it to you? Yes, that would be great. Um, what's the client's name? The client's name is I don't know if you guys can spotlight me really quick so you guys can stop that Um, wow What a difference The company is calling me saying mario. They haven't called yet. We need to give them their money It gives me the chills Honestly because I remember that lady was not answering her door She was so depressed She thought I was a bill collector She When I told you she's like you you mean I'm, not gonna lose my house You mean I don't have to move in with my like and she just broke down Guys, you don't know the power of what we do The power of our licenses the power of your leadership guys. It's god's plan that you're here The problem is you give up when it gets tough You're gonna let someone else steal your dreams And you don't know the ripple effect The good that you're going to do by you going after your goals and dreams the people you're going to inspire The people you're going to impact you're not here by accident This you need to understand that And look at this guys System There's the thinker and then there's the doer and then when I do in this situation john you've seen it live I'm like, all right, man. Let's get two examples. This guy wants to think about it You know and this guy's like no man. I've seen enough coach. I've seen enough and by the way, i'm not your boss Okay, i'm your leader I'm, i'm your coach Okay, don't call me boss. That'll offend me boss is all about them. It's all about taking the credit Real leaders a real leader is a servant leader. It's all about their people. I'm here to serve And i'm not looking for people that are just Vampires man i'm being honest with you. They're just leeches. They're just suck like like just sucking Well, like i'm like what's what's in it for me? What can I do? I know i'm looking for people that are adding value to you. I'm looking for new leaders that are going to emerge They're going to help this team go to the next level help this company go to the next level Who is it and people raise their hand and the person that wanted to quit by damn it. I'm it i'm quitting no more That's right See that's why it's super important. I put armor on our people. Why? Why? Because guys the world's so damn negative out there. We're so darn negative. Let's be honest here We find reasons why to quit instead of reasons why to keep going See, you need to know your purpose. You need to know your why right guys. You need to have your why jacket This is so darn important that you know your why you know your purpose See and I show examples on that Show example of one person that thinks about it just goes to school and the other person That does it gets three and they get three and they get three and then we fill up the whole right side of the room With with like as many people another side has two people So these people over here guess what? They wish they were part of that team And this team's winning. They're excited. This is the greatest business in the world. This guy blames the company. Oh, it's because of my leaders Guys I didn't have the greatest environment in the beginning But I had great leaders that were ready for it, man I remember art and susan lined up every single chair just waiting for the one For the one to show up if there was there was five people in the room Or there was 15 people in the room or 20 people in the room. They would let him rip When I joined there was 15 people in the room. I counted And I'm like man i'm gonna outwork him. I'm gonna outwork him I don't want to hear anything like well, i'm not winning because i'm not part of mario's team. No Absolutely not. Don't even think about it. The answer is no you're not winning because of you You god put you and your team for a reason You're not winning because of you You're not winning because of you You're not winning because of you You're not winning because of you You're not winning because of you You're not winning because of you Because of you You god put you and your team for a reason for you can be the one that lights that team up What you want to be is a leech instead of being a leader Instead of contributing and helping out see three in town still as we talk about number one for the next 90 days I need you to show up. Here's the calendar. This is what you need to do Successful people make time to be successful. It's not convenient move things around show up these days. I let them know what they got to do Number two get better Don't have a mentality that I already know that I already heard that wrong wrong practice apply this Take massive action is my third one Right guys, you can learn everything man. John. I talked to you. I already read that book I already know this objection. I already know. I hate that word. I know that I i'm like, you know that okay great I stopped coaching you. You know that Even if you know it, thanks for the reminder coach Thanks, oh Thank you. I appreciate that John, you have helped me tremendously And sometimes when you tell me things I get you know what I was. Oh, I already know that john. What an arrogant punk To this day i'm a student to this day. I'm calling john like john. What can we do? How can we get better and john's like hey mario? What can we do? I love john man. He's like mario This was an unbelievable Presentation the way you do that. I'm like you should like it. It was it's yours. You taught it He's like, oh crap. No wonder it's good. Heck. Yeah, a lot of stuff a lot of the stuff I got from john We're friends. That's what we do. We help each other out just like in the Like iron sharpens iron leader sharpen leaders, right? Like like like this isn't a good but like for me like men sharpen men Well, guess what leader sharpen leaders we get better. He ain't no leach. He's a leader You know why he wants to get better not for him Not for him that hey brad doesn't want to get better for him He wants to get better for his people all the leaders here million dollar earners. You know why we're doing this We're sad. It ain't about us. It's about our people I need I need to get back onto this because I love this group I'm proud of you guys and look I want I want to close with this. All right guys I'm gonna i'm these last couple slides. Don't worry. I'm gonna i'm gonna finish up. All right guys, but look at this What's your purpose as a trainee? To get licensed say license they say license to get competent stay competent competent and to get independent How do you do that? Okay, not by just doing three by three And look i'm just being honest that gives you your promotion Uh, here's your 600 bonus 30 to 60 referrals Now that you're licensed you can be able to train others and earn anywhere from two to five thousand dollars a month. That's normal If you apply yourself and there's people that get licensed and they make zero that's it's just you It's up to you and there's people that get licensed to make ten thousand It's up to you. There's no floor, but there's also no ceiling. I love that Okay, look, what do you need to do? Put your trainer in front of front of 10 to 15 thousands in your first 30 days Okay, pretty simple, right? They say yes And then here, um in in that in that example there This is what I do like list three people that will join just because it's you john List three people that will buy just because of you. Who is it? If you're gonna get a flat tire, who would it be? Who who would be there for you? All right, if you're tripling working, who would it be? They say so and so so great. Let's put them down Super important. I want to get the list right there and then I talk about being uncoachable And I go through all that you can read that it's very simple Look at this $84 life app times 12. It's a thousand in premium. You're in 25 percent contract A trainer has to go with you legally. You can't do it because you don't know what the heck you're doing So another licensed agent has to go and you split the commission you make 125 bucks john He's 125 bucks in an hour. We agree. That's pretty good money to say. Yeah, it's really good money Because you only know what you know because of what you know, look at this This is super important Look at this You get your training you actually listen to us. You're coachable. You're in a 50 percent contract Now you comp you know what you're doing and with us john you do five cells when you're in training We give you five cells when you're licensed meaning We go with you and we help you close five life cells and give you full credit At a higher contract you do 10. We give you 10 That's a huge no, no one else does that we do that so people don't let They don't stop on their filter and they do a bunch of i've i've still trained people that have done 40 life apps with me 40 before they got licensed Pawnee menace make ten thousand dollars his first month license with me Because he had such a big team I deal with such a big team. He had 40 life insurance cells one. He couldn't pass his exam I'm, just going to tell you the truth. It took him 10 times to pass his exam 10 His second language is english now he speaks better english than me at the time Guess what? He just kept on going. He didn't give up him and his wife Look at this guys now at a 50 percent contract. Now you're making 500 bucks a cell Four times the amount of the month four times the amount plus you have a team you have promoted. You know what you're doing I'm looking for the coachable I'm looking for these guys Who how many how many guys are going to be coachable they all raise their hand great If your trainer does not show you what you need to do in the first 30 days to get there You need to call me and I give them my number john You need to call me And you don't blame your trainer that you didn't succeed because you have my number If things are not going right you call me and i'll sign you another trainer Don't let your trainer or anybody stop you from winning and changing your family tree forever And I give them my number They'll train and look at this month number two you train john to do a six by six Why because you don't want to stop at three by three you get you do the minimums you get minimum results You go above and beyond you make three thousand dollars. You help mary do the same thing You make another three thousand dollars. That's six thousand. You're part-time john You know what happens to your people call my coach. I can't afford to go to work anymore I'm making more money in my business than i'm making at my full-time job How do I go full-time I just had a guy yesterday leave a job he's a um, uh freeway engineer makes $54 an hour He just left his job because he's he's doing better with me part-time He's like no, I can't afford to do this to my family. I need to be with my family more and build my business People won't quit a uh, uh 20 bucks an hour $18 an hour 15 bucks. I already know what minimum wage is, but they won't quit that You know because that's what they think their self-worth is It's unbelievable Guys, here's the system build a list qualify a list contact that list Everybody has the top 25 and look what happens. You know those people you wrote down look at this You're a trainer now. Let's fast forward. You're smart. You put us in front of 10 or 15 families. You've got the business and Now your team sets up a list of 25 people You're not going to go see all 25 you cherry pick the top 10 appointments out of that You should get minimum six clients and minimum four associates half of them. Listen, half of them don't And look at this three thousand dollars as a trainer You repeat the process the other two that are left over set up another 10 qualified appointments So that lands you at 20 lands you at 12 clients eight new associates 6,000 Look at this by your third month Twelve thousand I had my guy Juan and Cindy literally like I I seen him make ten thousand dollars guys He used to make 12 grand a year as a security guard. He made ten Thousand dollars. He's a four hundred thousand dollar earner him and his beautiful wife amazing family Juan and Cindy and you'll know them and I talk about them and stuff. But man think about this He was sad Juan. Juan was like dang coach. I let you down. I'm like what happened? He's like dude, you told me how to meet 12,000 I try to do it the coach I only made 10 I'm so sorry my no fool. You're supposed to make that your third month. You did good. I'm like, I did good like Oh, yeah, that's amazing. How did he do that? He got so much field training He would get people to recruit people on his own get people off to a faster on his own and just set up appointments For me, he would even set up appointments for his people coach. I just want to learn Can I go to my my recruits appointments on me? Yes, you set it up. You can go with me Dude I would literally do appointments with five people who to ask permission. Hey, I know it's kind of awkward Well, all these five people are listening. They're learning and it was their son. I would have like 12 people again I know I know it's kind of weird. But um All their friends about like all their friends They want to learn financial services and do you mind if we practice with you? I'm sure and do the pressure was on I would close every single time. They didn't want to say no from Elmo It was pretty awesome. Okay, I'm serious. I know it's supposed to be one-on-one. Did I do it that way? I'm like, hey, let's bring them. We can fit them. We did it do true Mexican right guys. I'm actually can all right guys Oh my goodness All right I'm gonna show you something. Okay, I'm gonna close with this Okay, I think this is my last slide. Yep. It is. Okay, I'm gonna close with this. I'm gonna go back on this perfect timing to Oh my goodness My dad got me in the business. My mom had me when she was 15 years of age. We struggled so much I got bullied getting growing up. Um, I Wanted I wanted as a kid. I hated my life John, um, I contemplated suicide as a kid. I Was the oldest of nine brothers and sisters Of such a bad example bad grades hanging out with gangsters. I thought I was one. I mean just My mom's such a good woman like she fought for my life like my mom my grandma a lot of you might might by the way I'm not bad enough. I got my grandma loves me like once I was born She's I was like her baby, but she didn't want my mom to have me like she would beat my mom But I like while I was in her belly Like either you're gonna have an abortion or I'm gonna make you lose that baby My mom was forced to run away at 15 years of age I'm so grateful. My mom fought for my life and I Let her down Bad grades hang around like man. I was just I was just so angry at the world I remember as a kid I used to hide I used to hide in the toilet stalls Before school started him. I know my mom had to drop me off really early sometimes because she had to go to her job Because kids would make fun of my hair. They would make fun of my pants. It would make fun of my shoes They would call me the dirty boy and like, oh look at him wearing his pants same dance again and I just I Hated my life. I just hated I remember my mom She's not are you late to school? She dropped you off early and I was too embarrassed to tell her mom. So the kids make fun of me She felt bad enough that she couldn't she did all she could She did all she could and she I don't want to make her feel worse And I remember like it was yesterday man, just like God why do you hate me so much Why do you hate me so much? I remember in the rain. I was just walking home Just angry and and praying to God like God. Why do you hate me so much? You took away my dad for me Yeah, that's my hero. That's my dad was a daddy's boy You know how we're so poor and I'm short like come on God. I give you something John actually had a girl spirit I'm not that short no more. I was really short. I was the shortest kid in middle school I was the shortest kid in high school. And I was 410 in high school 410 I was a little guy had no facial hair. I look like I was in the elementary school My friends used to brag about me to their family and friends like bro. Do you believe this guy's in high school? No, I hated my life. I Hated it. They thought it was cool. I hated it needs to pick on me so many times And you know, it's so darn cool The way God just turns things around Man, I remember walking home And it's raining and this lady pulls over to the side and say hey you're Mary Lou's boy, right? I'm like, yeah, she said get in the car. You're gonna get sick. I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no She said get in the car Get in the car. I'm like, oh So I got in the car, but the guy that was in there was the cool kid in school The kid that always had the coolest clothes the coolest shoes Oh, he had a group that always make fun of me. That's the guy I was hiding from me like mom Don't pick him up. I'm very seen. She's like shut up And she put me in the car next to him and he was so embarrassed He was I remember him even trying to hide that was in the car with him I Sorry, I don't know what the heck maybe my wife's pregnant or something. I don't know what to happen, but dude I remember like it was yesterday Just doing so much shame Tell me I'm not gonna let this Know where I live. I was living in a little trailer with my mom So I went to sorry guys I Went to a better neighborhood And I and I got dropped off there and it's a nice house and I picked the nicest house. I'm so stupid I picked the nicest house. I'm like, that's my house. I'm like, that's your house. I'm like, yeah, I'm like, okay and I got dropped off and I started walking towards the house and I looked back and she wouldn't leave and I'm like, oh my god Oh my god, she's not leaving I'm like, oh crap. This is crazy. What am I gonna do? I thought she was gonna drop off and leave and she was like one of those responsible parents obviously I'm waiting until I go in the house and She wouldn't leave John and I was so embarrassed. I'm sorry. I'm crying guys. What the hell's wrong with me? I was so embarrassed. I was like dude, I go in this house. I'm gonna get shot or arrested What do I do?
