The "Bible (Fenton) 11,12,23,24,26: Holy Bible in Modern English, The: 1 Kings-Ezekiel" is a translation of the Bible into modern English by Ferrar Fenton, a London businessman who began the work in 1853. It was first published in 1903, with parts of it being released separately over the course of 11 years. Fenton's translation is unique in that he rearranged the books of the Bible in what he believed to be the correct chronological order, following the order of the Hebrew Bible in the Old Testament. Throughout the Old Testament, Fenton translated the name of God as "The Ever-Living". The translation is described as being done directly from the original Hebrew, Chaldee, and Greek languages. Henrik Borgström assisted Fenton in translating the Book of Job, using the same meter as the original Hebrew. Fenton's translation of the New Testament is based on the Greek
