Thank God for our moderator, our radio broadcaster, and all of the, amen, powerful pastors on this roster, amen. I praise God for my, my brother being with me today. He is a precinct judge over in Port Arthur, Pastor Tom Gilliam III, and took time with David's schedule to come by, amen, to enjoy our association. He also is a pastor, amen, in Orange, as well as in Port Arthur. We welcome him today, amen. Thank God for one of our members in East Mount Island, Sister Doris Gidrick, amen. Faithful, faithful, faithful, faithful, on her duty, amen. I was looking at the program, Trinity Valley Missionary Baptist District Women's Auxiliary, which is a powerful auxiliary, women's auxiliary, amen, most powerful auxiliary, one of the most powerful auxiliaries in the Church. Actually, the most active, amen. In our Church, on Sunday school, men compete with the women, who's, who's, who's mostly there, amen. Amen, we got Deacon, Deacon Lynch, he'd be happy when the men, more men than women, in Sunday school, amen. We praise the Lord for East Mount Island, amen. I'm happy to be such, to play such a small part, amen, in this association, amen. I want to just go, to commemorate this, just a little bit, this women's auxiliary, and the book was Song of Solomon. All right. Songs of Solomon. All right, yeah. The fourth chapter, the first verse. Yeah, all right, yeah. Songs of Solomon, the fourth chapter, the first verse. All right, all right. A few of the fallen verses, amen. All right. Let me have a say, man. Amen. Behold, thou art fair, my love. Behold, thou art fair. Thou hast dove's eyes within thy locks. Thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Mount Gilead. Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing, whereof everyone bear twins, and none is barren among thee. All right. God bless you. Amen. You may be seated. All right. To back that up, what Solomon was saying, he was actually contrasting the fulfilled church to the unfulfilled church. The mature church, which he shall be spoken for. Brothers and sisters, this is talking about the church in its infancy. There are folk who count Solomon less than a prophet, but Solomon used love letters. And songs in order to describe the church. Solomon, the son of David, in his writing, he was just as apocalyptic as John was in Revelation. So what is he saying, Solomon? Writing a letter to my fair love. Over here in America, Solomon would not have a good record among the Christians around here. 700 wives and 300 concubines. My wife hates to hear that. Amen. Solomon, we probably would be preaching at the theater this morning. Amen. But in this four days, Solomon compared the church to what he knew. Amen. Somebody compared the church as a wheel in the middle of a wheel. Somebody compared the church, like Solomon did here, that he said that she was a rose of Sharon. Isn't that right? Come on. But now, Solomon looked at God and said, my lady, my fair beloved. The word beloved means, amen, greatly loved. Behold, thou art sad. And I look at the word sad. It kind of reminds me, in Genesis, you know, the 6th chapter when it said, hell was dark. And Japheth, amen, it said, sham was smut. And Japheth was fat. It led me to believe, well, I asked the question, but what is fat? Can I get a witness in here? In other words, Sarah means thou art beautiful. David himself was fat to look upon. Sarah was fat to look upon. But Solomon took it off of his father and put it on the church. He said, thou art sad. He wasn't talking about no woman here. He was talking about the church. And as I claim, son of Solomon, 8 and 8, behold, we have a real sister. And she had no breast. What shall we present when a lover comes in the day in which she is asked for? Mama's sister is taking time growing up. The fact that he said little sister who has no breast, he was saying that she does not have the ability to nurture God's people. Can I get a witness in here? The fact that she said that she has no breast, saying that she has not come to the age of maturity. And you cannot come in a girl to do a woman's job. Can I get a witness in here? And so Solomon was looking at the church. Pastor, amen. He was looking at the church before the disciples came. There were no Peters. There were no Johns. Jesus did not bear the cross yet. And there were no crucifixions. And there were no resurrections. And he looked at the church and said, Thou in the future, Thou art there. And you know, I look at, you know, there are many kinds of different people in the world today. But according to the Bible, you only have two kinds of women. The Bible teaches in Matthew 25, you have five wives. And you have five foolish. My brothers and sisters, you can't make a foolish woman a wife. She'll hate you for it. And you cannot make a wise woman a fool. She'll hate you for it. Can I get a witness here? Well, the Bible looked at Hosea, the first chapter of the Lord, told his wife, go take her to be a harlot and marry her. And there I'm going to show you how I feel about my people. Now he went struggling along the road and he married the harlot. And then you know what? He looked up and she was blown every time he turned around. The one thing I can do is take her back because I love her. And you know, I look at the church today. And I look at the church today. Yeah. And I see God's people. And I see some people today that are mature spiritually. And there you have, you know, some women in the church are spiritual giants. And some men in the church are spiritual children. Can I get a witness here? And you know, I look at that and I think about when the Bible said there's neither male nor female, there's neither Jew nor Greek, but all are one in God. Can I get a witness here? And then when I look at it, you know, I think about the Bible also said that which is born of flesh is flesh. And that which is born, John the third chapter, is spirit is spirit. And in the flesh, men, we are the head. Can I get a witness? And a woman shall not usurp authority over a man. Can I get a witness here? And all of the church say amen. But I stop by to tell you now, but there are some times when you have an Abigail who's married to a neighbor. Can I get a witness here? And you've got some people, some wise women are married to foolish men. Can I get a witness here? And while he's saying sketch it, somebody else is saying here, kitty, kitty. Can I get a witness here? And I stop by to tell you now, but there are so many people are pushing the women of God away. Can I get a witness? But somebody is pushing you out the door. Can I get a witness here? And while they're pushing you out the door, God's saying come on higher. Can I get a witness here? And while they're pushing you out the door, God's got a David that's waiting for, you know, his perfected Abigail. And when I look at this church, and I think about it, and I look at the psalmist said, behold thou art fair, my love. Behold thou art fair, thou hast dove eyes. And when you look at the word dove eyes, it said the dove cannot see very far. Can I get a witness here? But the dove got to depend upon Jesus to take care of him. Can I get a witness here? Can I get a witness here? And then it says here, within thy locks thou hast a flock of goats that appear from Mount Gilead. Can I get a witness here? And you know I better bring it on to a close here. Yeah, I could take a while preaching this, but I got to bring it on to a close. Can I get a witness here somebody? You know the Bible said, if he did sit with his wife, love your wife, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave itself, and gave himself for it. And then he sanctified it, and made it a glorious church, without having spied or wrinkled. Can I get a witness here? You know the church is the Lord's wife. Oh Lord, the church is, excuse me, God's bride. You have not been married to him yet, but you're on your way. Can I get a witness here? And when I look at the church, oh Lord, you know it may not be beautiful to people on the outside, but the church is beautiful to people on the inside. The Bible said, make a joyful noise unto the Lord, and all ye land. Can I get a witness here? Yes, joyful noise, noise meaning unpleasant sound. Can I get a witness here? Yeah, it may be unpleasant to those that don't understand, but it's pleasant to those that understand. The Lord is coming back, and a glorious church, without spying or wrinkled. Can I get a witness here? The church is my beloved. Oh Lord, the church is, yes my Lord, all together is God's wife. Yeah, as I go to my seat, I want to tell you something. You know I'm a man, and I look at the LGBT organization, can I get a witness here? I'm a man, oh Lord, ain't nothing funny about Mary here today. Can I get a witness here? I'm a man, yeah, but I belong, I belong to Jesus. Can I get a witness here? I'm married to Jesus, oh Lord, yeah. I'm a man, one of these days, when the storm is over, one of these old days, I got a frozen hand, one of these old days, he's gonna swing down a sweet chariot, and I'll step on board, my beloved mine, and I'm gonna hear, can I get a witness here? Yeah, in the spirit realm, my all is ready, my all, my left is sealed, I'm getting ready to meet the King, can I get a witness here? Because I'm beautiful, the Bible says I'm beautiful, on the feet of those that preach the gospel, I'm beautiful, in the sight before God. Can I see your hands? Is anybody ready? Can I get a witness here? From the marriage brief of the Lord, is anybody ready? I'm gonna move on up, out of this heartache and pain, move on up, yeah, baby, can I get a witness here?
