When a client shares information with you, it's important to create a dialogue and encourage sharing. You can do this by mentioning similarities or sharing your own experiences. For example, you could say something like, "I recently tried the meatballs at Parm during their happy hour and loved them. You should definitely give them a try and let me know your thoughts." If a client is sharing details about a topic with you, you'll want to create an open dialogue and foster sharing. You might even mention similarities or your own personal experience.
