Edgar A. Guest

Edgar Albert Guest, also known as Eddie Guest, was an English-born American poet who gained fame in the first half of the 20th century and was recognized as the People's Poet. He was a prolific writer and published numerous poems during his career. Guest moved with his family to the United States from England in 1891 and later became a naturalized citizen in 1902.
