The winter solstice is the start of winter in Canada and a spiritual time for rituals and reflection. It's important to value and respect time as a precious gift. Embrace the cyclic nature of time and use it to grow and evolve. Don't dwell on the past or worry about the future. Focus on your thoughts and intentions, as they create your reality. Practice mindfulness and align yourself with spirit. Trust that the universe will provide what you need when you need it. Consider the collective benefit and embrace universal purpose. Use the solstice as a time for healing, rest, and rejuvenation. Reflect on the past year and let go of what no longer serves you. See the new year as an opportunity for reflection and manifestation. Take control of your own life and create your own destiny.
Winter solstice is the official beginning of our winter in the coldest season here in Canada. It is also a very spiritual time, even though we may start considering some of our winter solstice rituals, such as brewing mulled cider and eating yummy warm healing solstice foods, and lighting some spiritual lanterns, even reciting solstice quotes and prayers. It is now a time to step back, take a breath, and focus on what our intentions are for the season. What does spirit want us to focus on, and how do we apply ourselves in moving towards that direction? Step back and take a moment and really focus on what it is you would like to attract to you throughout the winter months and beyond.
Are there pieces and places within your life that you may need to focus on and restructure just a little bit? Maybe it's time to actually focus on time itself. We tend to look at time as a direct, straightforward line moving towards the future and towards the past, but what if we looked at this as a complete illusion, as time does continue to move within patterns around us? I want you to take a moment to look at time as kind of a currency.
At any given moment in your life, time, which is the least respected gift from the universe, can be taken away without warning. So what if you looked at it like a currency and made a decision that you were going to value it, to respect it, and to honor it? What if you looked at time in all of its infinite potential as one vast and all-encompassing currency, one that can give you absolutely everything that you need or want, if you so choose to let it? Your message from Spirit during this most beautiful solstice season is to remind you that you can break free from limited cause and effect thinking by moving beyond the linear illusion and simply welcoming back the cyclic quality of time, allowing time to move at your own pace as you are ready to grow and evolve with it.
This alone is a very powerful thing. You are being reminded that you cannot change the past, so why sit there? You're also being invited to step back and take your own power back, to allow the past and the energy from that to remain there, to fully understand that the past gave you strength and energy and lessons to move into the present and therefore gives you the knowledge, excitement, and energy to forge forward into the future. In this moment, you are being reminded that you are all-powerful and time is actually a gift to you, and you are indeed the Time Master.
Understand and know that anything is possible for you now and always. Stop telling yourself that you are running out of time. You worry that you may not get what you need or want, but remind yourself that everything gets stuck in the spiral of time. Your thoughts create your tomorrow, so stop. Focus on what your thoughts are today. Are you putting into the universe exactly what you want to attract back to you? Are you reminding yourself that thoughts and words are actually energy? You have the ability to be mindful and fully observant within your own life, but again, take a moment and release your need to know about the future.
Allow the universe to magically reveal itself in the treasures within when you are fully ready to receive. What if you were able to really focus on your destiny and your future? What if the human body itself was very similar to the universe? What if the universe itself was very similar to the earth spinning on its axis? What if you recognize the power of this alone? Maybe it is time to sit within the season and place a strong focus on what exactly you want for today and the future.
Are your thoughts scattered? Is your mind full? Are you sitting too deep in the past, holding on to anger and frustration from that? Or are you sitting too much in the future, sitting in a seat of anxiety? These are all things that you indeed have the ability to change within yourself. I want you to take a moment and offer your prayers to the highest good for all and ask that the universe provide everything that you need when you need it.
It is time to consider working closely with spirit and aligning yourself so that you are grounded. It is also a time to become mindful and discover pure mindfulness within your life. By learning to focus on mindfulness and living within the moment, you will notice a huge shift within the stress in your life, your mindset and your future thoughts. It is also time to stop screaming at God and the universe about what it is you want and deserve and need.
You are being reminded that you simply only have to whisper gently, they are listening. To focus, to believe, to feel and then to receive. You are also being reminded that it is the season to stop spinning the world around your own belief patterns with an assumption that you are going to benefit individually. You need to be open to collective benefit now. By being open to what is happening around you, how the world is spinning around you and the needs of others around you, you will discover and learn to sit within the energy of universal divine purpose and you will learn to embrace that it all spins together as one.
Your time is now. Take a moment to craft exactly what it is you want to receive, then foster and grow through this beautiful solstice season. Remember, it is a time of healing, a time of rest, a time of rejuvenation, so that you can come out in the spring fully ready to embrace what is going to grow and manifest around you. Winter solstice is a time of deep reflection. To look at the year that we are ending very soon, in just a few days, this year will be over and we will be moving into a new one.
A time to really focus on what your gains and your rewards were for the year, but also a deep reflection on your loss, both physically and spiritually. Solstice, combined with the end of the year calendar, reminds you that you can now make the choice to soar like an eagle from entanglement, lifting yourself above all that is below and behind you. It reminds you that you do have the power within you to acquire a much broader vision of how you see your life today and tomorrow.
It is a time to really look at the new year as it being a form of initiation where nothing external matters here, except allowing this hibernation period to be a time to place a deep focus on reflection and manifestation. You can look at the end of the year as almost a death, per se, an opportunity to let go of everything with no exceptions and no exclusions. Letting go of all that no longer serves you and your soul's purpose, that alone is an extremely powerful opportunity for you, for your own self-preservation.
Allow the solstice to give you all that you need through the winter months, to fill your heart with joy, passion and purpose, and to begin looking at your life in 2023 as a whole new opportunity and beginning, and maybe to adopt the fact that you indeed have the power to become the architect of your own life, your own journey and your own destiny. How cool is that?
