The movie "Hugo" is about a kid living in a train station who wants to fix it. He steals things from a toy shop to fix a robot, not knowing that the shop owner used to be famous. The mise-en-scene, which includes angles, props, and settings, is discussed. The setting and props were good, and the favorite part is when the man tells the boy to fix the robot. The movie is not recommended for ages 12-14 due to the historical costumes. It is rated 4.5, with some improvements needed in facial expressions and composition. The lack of characters, names, and settings should be improved. Hello and welcome to today's analytical show where I talk about what the movie is, what I like about it, and what a good movie called Hugo. Hugo is a movie based on a kid who lives in a train station trying to fix it because of what price is. He also had to steal stuff so he can let me steal stuff from a specific toy shop because it has a specific tool they need to fix the robot, aka the automaton, but literally does the boy know that the guy used to be super famous. Quick little update on what the mise-en-scene is after this short break. The mise-en-scene is just a fancy word for saying hammer angles, props, settings, etc. The two mise-en-scenes I'm going to talk about are setting and props. The setting was okay, though we only used maybe like 3 or 4. The props were good because they carried a lot of things and they really filled in the space which is another mise-en-scene. Well, let's not get carried away here. My favorite part in the movie is when the man told the boy to fix the robot, the mouse robot, because it really showed him how much he could fix. What I wouldn't recommend the movie to is ages 12-14 because it really showed him what the costumes and stuff look like back then. What I would rate the movie is a 4.5 because it was almost perfect, but the face and composition could have been a little better in some scenes. After this break, I'll show you what I think of the movie. What I think they should improve on is how they didn't really add much characters and they didn't introduce names and also how they didn't add many settings. Thank you for listening to Dan's Analog Show where I talk about movies and what I think they should do.
