Harry Potter, part 1 Faith and Magic

This is the first of three podcasts looking at the Christian themes in the Harry Potter books. We begin with a discussion of faith and fantasy literature, looking at the Inklings in Oxford and C.S. Lewis' attempt to "baptize the imagination". Magic can be a metaphor for faith and spirituality. Rowling should be considered a modern Inkling. The Harry Potter books have much Christian symbolism, but we will focus on how it teaches the cardinal virtues.
