01 Prayer

Pastor Donald Stowe introduces "Partners in Praise," a group of young people spreading the gospel through song. He emphasizes the importance of prayer and thanks God for His blessings and faithfulness. He urges others to prioritize prayer and highlights its power to bring hope and success. He prays for the success and blessings of the young group and asks God to make their lives a blessing to others. This is Pastor Donald Stowe of the Second Cavalry Missionary Baptist Church. I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Partners in Praise. This group of young people have come together to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. To let the world know that God's got the whole world in His hands. This world needs prayer. We all need to take time to pray, and I'd like to take this time to pray not only for Partners in Praise, but also for you. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to thank you for the many blessings that thou hast bestowed upon us. We come again, our God, to praise your name for all of your kindness and loving care that thou hast extended to us. We thank you, our Father, for being a God that has been with us down through the ages. You never left us alone, but you stayed by our side. We thank you for being that kind of God that has always been true to His promise. For you said you'd never leave us, nor forsake us. We thank you, God, that you are able to stand even when we're in our roughest times, not knowing which way to turn, you're there. You promised our God that you would never let go of our hand, and here we are today. We say to you, thank you, God, for giving us this privilege to pray. Giving us this privilege to warn others that we need to take time out to pray. We need to be able to tell men and women that through all things that they do, without prayer, there's no hope. We pray, God, that thou would let prayer be the central part of our lives, that we can go forth and reap down worlds for thee. Through prayer, we're able to accomplish those things that we had failed earlier in life. Through prayer, we're able to lift ourselves by our bootstraps from the turmoils of life and go to higher heights in thee. Hear us, please, our God, our peace teacher, to grant such things that are needful. We pray, God, especially for this group of young people as they spread your word. May you ever bless us and make our lives to be a blessing to those whose lives we touch. Lord, in the name of Jesus we pray, amen. Amen.
