I am sharing my journey as I go through a Chakradance Rituals program. I have been encouraged to do so I can help others understand more about Chakradance and the types of experiences you may have.
The speaker is on a personal journey with Chakra Dance led by Natalie Southgate. They are documenting their experiences to help others understand the benefits of Chakra Dance. The speaker describes their experience with the base chakra, feeling connected to nature, planting seeds, and envisioning themselves as a sunflower. They also mention the significance of elephants and how they symbolize strength and family. The speaker encourages listeners to explore Chakra Dance and mentions upcoming retreats and programs. Hello, my beautiful friends. So I'm currently on a journey with Chakra Dance for myself. It's a personal journey that I'm going on with a group that is being led by the creator of Chakra Dance, Natalie Southgate. And I wanted to make like a diary to help you understand the experiences that you possibly could have, help you understand and see what I go through when I go through this program. And just give you a better idea, because sometimes I struggle with trying to figure out how to express myself and help people understand the beautiful way that Chakra Dance can help you wherever you are in your life, okay? So we are currently doing a Chakra Dance Rituals program. And before we started the program, we signed up, we were in that energy. And so I feel like even when you're in that energy, before you even do the program or the rituals or the materials, you're in that energy and that vibe. And so because I was, we were already elbow deep in our gardens. We were planting seeds, we were watching our grandkids grow by spending time with them and just watching how growing and that awareness of family and foundation and just really feeling that safety and going through things and connecting with Mother Earth, being outside, being in nature. And so when I did dive into the first week, which was about the base chakra, which goes right into all this that I was just talking about, you can just feel that energy. And when we started the program, we did like a meditation that focused like on our roots and our safety and foundation and connecting to Mother Earth. And I was planting seeds for like health and harmony, love and abundance, and just actually going through probably a seed for each chakra in our bodies. And so I had all these little seeds that I was planting. So then when we started into the dance part of the ritual, I began on my yoga mat like a seed. And as the music was going and the guided imagery, I started to kind of sprout and become a plant that was starting to grow and sprout out of the seed and break through the soil. And I envisioned myself as a beautiful sunflower. I had a thick stalk, I had these beautiful, big flowing leaves. And then the head of my sunflower, of me, was this beautiful like yellow and orange and red, beautiful colors. And in the center was like all these seeds, like all these seeds of ideas. And so when you think of sunflowers, like all the seeds that are in there, and I could just feel like the vibrant colors and the seeds and everything that was just within me. And then how I follow the sun, because sunflowers, if you've ever watched, my husband starts them from seed for me and my grandkids. And so I put them on my deck in pots. And so they follow the sun. If the sun, you know, rises, it follows it and through the day and the evening they're facing the other way. And so I was like, oh, in my dance, I felt like I was a sunflower following the sun. And the message that came to me was follow what lights you up. And so all these other flowers were also popping into my vision of lilies and zinnias, also what my husband starts from seed for us. And it's just a fun way to just really connect with that beautiful, vibrant energy of Mother Earth and all these beautiful plants. And so in the dance, it was all these flowers and beautiful things. And then all of a sudden in the music, I heard this noise or whatever that reminded me of an elephant. And all of a sudden there was an elephant in my vision. And when you think of an elephant, they are just strong and loving and fun and playful and protective and abundant. They love to be by the water. They like play, you know, squirting water at each other. And they're just all about their family and that foundation. And so it's just a really perfect, you know, animal to be like representing as I stepped into that week. So as I go into that energy of just focusing on like the sunflowers and the elephants and just realizing how it's all connected to that beautiful base chakra energy. And so at the end, I did draw my mandala and my mandala was had the sunflower on there and the elephant and it had like zinnias and different flowers and just the whole nature and just the message was in life, follow what lights you up. And so that was what my focus was that whole week was just really just listening and diving into that goodness. So I just want to share that part about it. Throughout the week, I started noticing like, oh, I have an elephant statue. And I found it on a shelf. So I pulled that down. And that was from a dear friend that was kind of like my second mom who passed away of cancer. And I was able, you know, I was there with her and her family as she passed and stuff. And so it was a treasure to me to have that beautiful statue, but it just reminded me of those bonds and those roots, right? And then I have an acrylic pour that I did in my massage room that has, I can see like a little, it reminds me of an elephant on there. So elephants were popping up. So I'm just leaning into that beautiful energy of just trusting and that strength and that connection to earth. And it was just beautiful that way. And then I also found a funny thing. So there's a video that popped up on Instagram, and it was elephants farting, isn't that funny? And then I noticed at my daughter's house that she had an elephant on her counter. So it was like this whole like, all that goodness was just flowing through as I was just more aware of all the things around me. So I just really called in that beautiful energy and just leaned into it and really tapped into nature that week. So the base chakra, like I said, it was all about this groundedness and earthing and mother earth and family, foundation, security, safety, and I really felt very, a deep connection to that. And I'm going to talk more in the next audio that I'm going to share a part of my diary about another exercise that we did with the base chakra, but I want to share, this was the part where I did with the chakra dance itself and the energy I was in before and during the goodness, I saw more eagles, I saw more birds, I saw a cardinal. So there was all these things that were coming in as I was tapping into that beautiful earth energy. So stay tuned, I have more coming up on the base chakra, and I would love to share it with you. So if you are interested in learning more about chakra dance, please connect with me. I have a beautiful retreat coming up in August, I have some fun programs that I'm planning for in the fall slash winter, online, in person, and group, private, so there's all the things. So if you're interested in any of this goodness, please reach out to me, I would love to share more with you. Many blessings my friend.
