"Aristipp and some of his contemporaries - 3rd Volume" is a book written by Christoph Martin Wieland that was published during the years 1800-1802. It takes place during the peak of ancient Greek philosophy and uses the story of Lais, a courtesan, as a starting point for extensive critical descriptions of the various philosophical directions that developed from the Socratic school. Some versions of the book contain three volumes, while others have four. The first and second volumes are dedicated to the character Aristipp.
